Close to hotel so stopped in for lunch. The girl working the counter was nice and helpful. I ordered the Papa burger combo. It was really a hamburger in that it had a slice of ham and a burger patty. It was pretty good. They also have crinkle fries, which I like. My only gripe is there were some flies in the eating area so I suggest they either get a door blower or a zapper. read more

I've lived here 4 years and finally tried this establishment. I don't eat meat so I ordered the fish & chips. Fish was thinner pieces that kind of reminded me of fish sticks, but we're pretty good. Fries were crinkle cut and decent. Good fry sauce and tartar. I wanted the halibut with the fish & chips but I don't think this location offered it. I'll go back to another one to try it! read more

We stopped here on Saturday, 3/15 around 3:30 to get food for dinner later that evening. Guess they no longer have combo meals. We paid over $50 for 2 burgers, fries and shakes. When we went to heat up our food that evening, we found one of the burgers we're missing two ingredients that made it the type of burger we ordered. I was leaving the hospital and thought I would quick run and get a Zips shake. I called and asked if I showed up 5 minutes before closing time if that was enough time to get a shake and they said it was. So I drove down there right at 5 minutes before closing and noone answeres in the drive through. So I go around to the window and see an employee duck behind the wall. I beep no one comes. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! This was my first time on here vacation and I would definitely go back. I swear to god when I tasted the ranch I was sent to heaven and I had Jesus try it. Zip's is a chain in the Inland Empire, but they each have a little different menu when it comes to fish. A Zip's seem to carry Halibut and Chips, most carry Cod and Chips as well . . . but not the one five minutes from my house :(. - Downtown Spokane Zips carries Cod and cips, so, off I went. Half sized pieces, but you get a few, so, fine. Fries were, as usual, outstanding. - Nice, clean downtown location, lots of seating if you are eating in. Access is a little difficult from South Hill east, but this may be my go to Zips when I get the urge for F&C! read more

In Spokane in a cross country trip from Kentucky to Bow, WA, we spent one night in Spokane last week. In search of a tasty delicious burger, Zip's appeared on your yelp suggestion list so we gave it a try. Wow wow wow. It did not disappoint! The tots were a golden crispy brown on the outside and soft in the middle. The burgers my husband and I got were hot and delicious. Whenever we are in Spokane again, Zip's will be on our must visit list again. We loved it so much we even picked some up for breakfast in Cheney the next morning. read more

Really we are having food and the restaurant is open but they have the restrooms closed. They should not be open if you can't use the restroom. What if your stomach is bothering you that is ridiculous. So basically if you get food poisoning feel free to shit on the floor! Again this is the most ridiculous thing! One star for decent fries, decent, not great, just decent. Beyond that the least resemblance to an actual burger I have ever seen. For a $10+ with fries, I expect meat, a lot of it at that price. Literally the worst burger I've had in recent memory, perhaps all time, and I eat my share of burgers. I mean you could be vegan and not feel bad about the burger it had so little meat! Oh and about the "meat" it did have... That didn't taste much like a burger infact I suspect recycled cardboard would have more flavor. Don't get me started on what they pass off as "bacon". Absolutely avoid. I like to try and support a regional chain, etc... But this is so bad, and expensive, it is inconceivable. read more

Zips is a staple in Eastern Wa and is successful for a reason! Great food and better breakfast. Always friendly staff in all of them. Try the pineapple shake and a wrangler. read more

We drove thru last night on our way to a school event, our requirements for dinner; fast, hot and on the way to the freeway.... Zips it was, and as far as a greasy drive-thru meal it hits all the right marks. The french fries were nice and salty, PIPING hot and perfectly crispy on the outside and puffy steamy pillows on the inside, paired with some yummy dipping sauces they were tasty freeway fodder. read more

Zip's is probably one of my fave fast food places in the world! Yet it is only available in eastern Washington. The frys are by far the best here but, the Tartar and Fry sauce make it sing. The tartar is famously known for beign very secret and the fry sauce in good too. I love the Papa Joe here which is just a burger with ham, Lettuce mayo and meat. But you cant go wrong with the Halibut and Chips and Chicken strip sandwich. The price is good too! read more

The food is good for a fast food chain. The customer service is pretty terrible though. The staff doesn't really have any kind of customer service. They aren't polite, don't smile, don't offer anything for their mistakes, and act like they're annoyed that you're there. I go there often because I work nearby, but I always feel uncomfortable because of the way I am treated. read more

Great fast good! Stopped in after a long trip from Seattle. We had 2 adults, 2 teens and 1 kid. We ordered the bucket deal and a kids meal. Total was only 20 bucks which was great! Fries were hot a crispy. The fry sauce was really tasty on the crinkle fries. The cheese burgers were bigger than other fast food joints. We all really enjoyed the taste of the food. The girls are those burgers in a matter of seconds. We all really enjoyed it so much that on the way home, we stopped off in Ritzville and ate at Zips again. read more

The cheeseburgers are the best cheeseburger at a fast food place as far as I am concerned. This is one of the fastest Zips' I've ever been to! Of the two we have over in CDA, both are painfully slow. It's nice to have good service and good food! read more

Stopped in today for the weekend special. Two chicken strips for $4.50. Cool, I thought. When they came the chicken strips were the cutest little tiny things. Must have beencut from hummingbirds. They were sort of artistic they were so small. I kid you not, they were maybe an inch wide and I doubt even 3 inches long. It's nice to know that zips is so concerned about my health that they're helping me with portion control. You sure you're not going to gain weight on anything that size. It did come with a pile of fries. Obviously they're looking out for their senior citizens with their fries. They were so undercooked and limp you could eat them with no difficulty even if you didn't have any teeth. And Zips must know how bad pop is for you because I would have thought that for $4.50 it would have included at least a small drink. But no , it did not include drink it all (but you could buy a small for $1.89. ) What a great place that they are so concerned about my health and my waistline. Sorry Zips, Next time I need lunch I'm probably going to go to any one of the other half dozen restaurants on your street that give you a way better deal for the price. I did give it at least two stars because the gal behind the counter it was really nice of the place up here to be reasonably clean. read more

I ate here about 10 years ago and the food was good. Attempted to eat here again Monday, May 29 Memorial Day. Called the day before to make sure they opened at 9:00 AM like normal on a Monday because I was concerned they might open later since it was a holiday. I was assured by a young female working at the time that yes, they opened at 9:00 AM. Upon arrival at 9:20 AM the next day, the place was closed. I called as there was a vehicle in the parking lot. The same young female answered and I asked her why they weren't open after she told me the day before they'd be open. She replied that they didn't open til 10:00 because it was Memorial Day. I mentioned that I had called the day before (which I could tell by her sheepish tone of voice she already knew) and all she said was "sorry". Because I had a 7 hour drive in front of me I chose not to stay til they opened. I will not patronize this business again. read more
