This place completely sucks. Do not waste your time or money going there. The bartenders are extremely rude as were the bouncers at the door. The drinks were weak and the place was dirty. I was at a mini-golf pub crawl this past weekend for our annual girs' trip, which includes 30 girls. We had a blast at the mini-golf pub crawl. The banquet afterward was terrific except for the bouncers at the door who were extremely rude. My friend walked outside to have a cigarette and stumbled up the slope to get in the bar on the way back in the bar. The bouncer kicked her out because of the stumble, stating she was too drunk. She could not even come back in to get her jacket. What a loss for the bar. We would have stayed there longer. We went to another place, and my friend did not stumble or trip on the walk there. Bottom line: She was in the bar. They should have sat down and given her water if they thought she was overserved. In Wisconsin, bartenders have the legal obligation to ensure the safety of their customers. If my friend had been extremely drunk, she could have fallen outside the bar. The last place she was at and kicked out of was D2. Had she been overserved and intoxicated, a lawsuit would have been in the making. The bouncer needs more education. read more

I Was at the bar with my boyfriend (I am a male and we are gay), we went to the bathroom and we got our stall kick and shoved and than proceeded to get shoved out of the bar. We were pushed and touch and dragged out of the bar. We were beyond pissed and we're very discriminated because we are gay. Never Again!! Menus on-line were confusing and included one from several years ago. We were charged for credit card use when we paid Cash, and charged for fries that the current menu said were "served with the burger." Apparently they didn't mean they were included in the price of the burger, just available to be served with it. Somewhere in the fine print there's a $1 extra charge for Each Burger for me to take my order home. Next time I'll order from The Bar, or Stadium View... or Culvers! read more

I was in Appleton for the Mile of Music and stopped at "D2" for music and a snack. Luckily the music was great with good seats, because the food was awful. We ordered the Ultra Nachos, ultra ment added meat and a couple of other addition toppings. And some Maple Bacon Fries. We asked for our nachos to come minus the Jalapeño and onions, they showed up with onions. The waitress nicely took them back. Then came the 7.00 Bacon maple fries also wrong no bacon no Maple. The portion of fries were so small it was barely half a potato they came back with some powdered flavoring on but no bacon. When the nachos came back the portion was also very small for the upgrade to the $12 nachos the meat had no spices. Or flavor. My dinner companion and I agreed these were the worst nachos ever. I will comment that the waitress was very nice about continually taking our order back to the kitchen save your money enjoy the music but do not purchase food here. read more

This place was recommended to me by a nearby hotel at the front desk. I've never wrote a complaint in my life, but I've never been treated so poorly. I am a young looking girl, who happens to be on a layover in Appleton, because I am a flight attendant. I have 30 hours here, and beings I'm away from my family on a holiday I wanted to relax and have a beer. The front desk told me D2 is super fun and right around the corner. I walk in and immediately and kind of hostile like, this bar hop guy approaches me and asks for my ID. I hand him it, and suddenly he starts toward the door behind me and tells me to get out, and that my ID is fake. I told him he's it's an out of state license, I'm a flight attendant, and I have to be over 21 to be one. He told me just one minute he's going to show his manager. His manager apparently thought it was a fake too, even though he didn't even look at me. I said okay fine give me back my ID, and I'll leave. Nope he wouldn't give it back until I brought a police officer to prove it wasn't a fake. I have never been to Appleton before and I have no clue where anything is. So on the verge of tears, alone and away from family on Memorial Day weekend while they are all camping, I go and find the police station. The officer walked back with me, told them you can tell right away it's not a fake. Then he put it into his system just to prove it wasn't. I understand they probably have a lot of people trying to use fake IDs.... but the bar was empty, it's a Sunday, and I was completely alone. He was a bully and I let him get the best of me. I will not be going back there ever again, and I think If you are going to be a bouncer you should educate yourself on IDs, especially ones that are out of state. Not only did you ruin my day while I was already feeling sad, but you embarrassed me. Happy Memorial weekend. read more

When my friends and I go on the Ave, they're usually done drinking by the time we make it to 'duzzi's, if we get that far that night. I don't drink, so I can't vouch for the drink quality and prices. My friend once described this place like this: "Anduzzi's is the place that both disgusts you and creeps you out, so you don't understand why you can't stop going back." After joining the 21 club, I came to Anduzzi's and finally understood this statement, except I wasn't really itching to go back. The dance floor upstairs is the main appeal of this bar and is what people come there for. This place is usually packed with people and you can barely walk through the dance floor without touching another person. What pisses me off is that men really use this fact for their advantage. I have been pinched more times than I can count in the few times I've been there and I know those weren't accidents. It frustrates me that I can't just dance with my friends at this bar. Men seem to think that, by virtue of me even being on the dance floor, that I am just waiting for them to come up behind me. A lot of people I know secretly love this attention, but it just makes me feel dirty and violated, single or not. The only reason this place gets higher than one star is because it's probably the best place to go if you're in the mood for dancing (yes, better than The Bar and Luna). Anecdote: I heard from one of my friend's that her friend, who is from Ghana, was denied entry by the bouncers and it was pretty obvious that this was racially motivated. Based on this alone, people should boycott this place. read more

If you go there pay with cash, I complained about bad charges to my credit card and was kicked out. It was a packed Saturday and I was a little tipsy but not enough to notice wrong charges on my card. When I complained about not getting shots I was charged for I was told they weren't going to do anything about it. I asked if they could check the cameras the next day so I could prove I didn't receive the shots, but was told that would be impossible. I left and spoke to the police outside to see if this was even legal, they informed me it was a civil issue. When I tried to go back in I was stopped and told to not come back. There was nothing I could do other than contact my credit card company. The police informed me they get similar complaints because "the manager is an asshole". read more

This is a bar everyone loves to hate on, yet everyone winds up going there often. The food won't blow you away but it's decent and edible, the service is always hit or miss. But compared to other bars on college ave. it's cleaner, the patio is decently nice, and the clientele is nicer and more professional. They often have two for one drink specials. Two bottles of microbrew beer for $3? I'll take it any day. read more

It was my first time going to Anduzzi's and I had a blast. The place is really big with tons of area to sit and mingle. The bar itself is very big so it felt like there was always room to get a drink. They had a nice dance floor area away from the tables. The drink specials were awesome, $4 Jack and Cokes..can't beat that. Also the bathrooms were extremely clean and well stocked. The only reason I wouldn't give this place 5 stars is because it was freezing inside! Temperature control can make or break a place for me! read more

I told the bouncer and he didn't do much of anything besides tell me that there isn't anything he can do. They need more eyes in and around there. Before I moved out of WI, I had a get together her with some coworkers and also have stopped her on nights out. It is a good space, both indoors and outdoors with a covered patio section. The food here is standard bar fare, nothing to write home about. Later at night, it is one of the few places on College Ave that has dancing if that is what you are looking for. The maid drawback is the price of the mixed drinks. They cost more than they are worth, since they are small and made weakly. read more

We just had dinner and drinks here during the Friday night license to cruise car show. It was a busy night. Our server told us our food would take longer than normal. 45 minutes she said, no problem. Around 40 minutes later, she informs us the dish I ordered would not be available. No problem, it's a busy night. Stuff happens. Change my order and the food shows up shortly thereafter. They did COMP my chicken sandwich. Tator tots were cold. No problem they're busy. We ask for the check and after we get it, no one shows up to retrieve credit card to pay bill. We took the bill to the bar to pay. Bartender looks at bill then looks for our waiter and then gets rude when I say I just want to pay and leave. Cold food, Stale chips, rude bartender and slow slow service. read more

Went in for lunch with while downtown. I figured the place might have a decent lunch menu. The food was good, beer was reasonably priced. This place looked like a bad idea from the start. The bouncers at the door let me and a couple of my friends inside. However, one of my friends was denied entry because the bouncer didn't like the way he looked. They threatened him and tried to start a street fight. The dance floor was crowded with douchebags looking to start more alcohol-induced fights and/or hit on everything that moved. The bartender ignored us completely. Screw this place. It's a cask conditioned ale that is a very popular brew in the state of Wisconsin. It tasted great and was very satisfying! read more

Went here for lunch while attending a conference. Great place. Though only one waitress in the Joint, she was amazing fast. Food was good and I will say I fell in love with their fries. Great place for lunch. Has a dance floor so I suppose nights get giggy, but lunch was calm. Recommend this place. read more

Mile ruined by mist. My husband and I went here for Mile of Music and were having a GREAT time - good drinks, good food, awesome band. And then the mist started... Within minutes, our food was cold and soggy (we were only able to eat about a third of our sampler platter). When we brought this to our server's attention, she just shrugged it off and said it's always like that during the day. Thanks for the warning when we ordered... Moral of the story, management needs to tone down the mist. We would've stayed for at least a couple hours longer and had a few more drinks (aka spent more $). Fix this. read more

Boyfriend and I ordered two drinks, a Budweiser and a cranberry vodka. Went to close the tab and it was $18.50, listing my drink (which was very small and honestly tasted like straight up juice) as "three rail drinks" for $15. Boyfriend paid without looking, not expecting an error, started walking away, and then noticed on the receipt. Immediately told the bartender, and she refused that there was any error and then just wouldn't talk to us, to the point where we had to talk to a completely different bartender, who just tried to write off the $10 overcharge by giving us a shot. Are you serious. This is beyond scammy, especially considering many people may not be sober enough to notice getting charged like that... read more

TERRIBLE PLACE!!! DO NOT GO!!! On my girlfriend's 21st birthday, her and some of her friends ended up at anduzzis. Upon entering the second floor of the building, she was struck in the head with a glass bottle that was thrown from across the room. She got a huge bump on her head and on and off headaches for the next 3 days. When I found out the next day I went back to politely talk to the owner about this incident. I was told he wasn't in, but I was given his card and they took my name and number and said they would have him call me the next day. When he didn't call me the next day, I tried calling him on two different occasions, and he still didn't call me back. It is my belief that he is completely trying to ignore me and the entire situation. He obviously doesn't care whatsoever about his customers or what happens to them. So, in short, if you do decide to go to this place, go with the constant fear of substantial bodily injury without any recognition from the owner. read more

Avoid this place if you're in from out-of-state. The bouncers don't know how to tell the difference between a fake ID and a real one. I was in town from another state visiting family and they took me out on College Ave. We went to a few places before going to Anduzzi's with no problem. When we got to Anduzzi's, the three people I was with (all WI residents) had no problems. I handed the bouncer my driver's license. He stared at it a few seconds and handed it to the other bouncer. He then told me he was "confiscating" it until he could verify it was valid. I asked how exactly he was going to verify it. He said he needed a police officer to okay it. When asked if he was going to call the police, he said "No. You have to get a police officer to get it back." (A tip for anyone in WI with a valid out-of-state ID - In Wisconsin, an employee of a bar can confiscate an ID but ONLY for a reasonable time and ONLY if they're making a legitimate effort to either determine it's validity or notifying the police of a fake ID. These men were doing neither of these things. Once they took the ID and refused to give it back or to call the police, they were violating the law.) My sister flagged down two police officers who promptly returned my ID, telling me that there were better bars in the area. I thanked them and promptly went to one of said better bars. The owners of Anduzzi's need to train their bouncers better or they're in for some civil lawsuits. Anyone with common sense and some basic training in valid IDs could easily tell my license was legitimate. The bouncers at Anduzzi's have neither, and they don't know the law. I will not be returning on future trips to Wisconsin. read more

Wouldn't recommend this place. I sat on the patio and the whole time a server never even acknowledged us; despite many apathetically walking by not looking stressed or busy. We had to go order everything ourselves from the bar. Then I went to the bathroom and they wouldn't let me back on the patio without a "ticket," even though when i got there I didn't need one and it wasn't clear to me that a ticketed event was going on or that you couldn't come back if you left. When i explained I had just been out there and just needed to close out so i could leave they just replied "I don't care you need a ticket." The other person who was with me had to close us out so I could even leave. Rude and disorganized. read more
