I have ate at this restaurant three times now and unfortunately I had a bad experience the last time I went. Let me start by saying what's positive- I've had the meat jun twice here and both times was consistently great, huge proportions. I love all the side dish options especially all the vegetable options. Unfortunately the last time I was in I ordered the kalbi and shrimp combo plate. There were two pieces of kalbi that were inedible, as you can see in the pictures, also there were a couple pieces that had burnt ends. Being pregnant I could not consume these. Even if I wasn't I would not eat it. I'm disappointed that this was what the cook thought was appropriate to serve. And then the front desk lady that takes your order clearly saw it as she was packing my side dishes in the container. I will not be returning to this restaurant. read more

Hits every time. Being able to get a taste of Hawai'i in Vegas is the best. Food is made to order, service is always quick and friendly and they have some tables to eat inside. Came in at 822. Probably enough time to finish my meal, but for some reason if my wife and I weren't done by 9, we would have left. I get it, we all want to get home to our families. Food is ready at 837, but am told they're closed now, but we can stay and eat if we like. It wasn't friendly though, more like if we insisted. I asked about the 9pm closing sign, and was told they close at 830 when slow, so they're closed now. Probably better to tell me when I arrive, that I can order but can't eat there because they're closing early. That way I can decide if that's cool, or to go elsewhere. Jin Korean BBQ is a tiny, hole-in-the-wall gem in Summerlin that delivers every single time. It's tucked between Cane's and Taj Palace Indian Restaurant, and if you blink, you might miss it, but you absolutely shouldn't. The menu is small but delicious. I usually order a regular plate, which comes with your choice of protein, rice, and four sides for under $20. The portions are HUGE. One plate is easily enough for two meals, sometimes with leftovers beyond that. My go-to is the beef bulgogi which is consistently flavorful and tender. For sides, I almost always get cucumbers and japchae (when it's available). Pro tip: go earlier in the day if you want japchae. It's so good that it often sells out before early evening. I'll also rotate in the bean sprouts and macaroni salad, which are both solid choices. They have a few sauces, and I highly recommend both the red sauce and the regular dipping sauce. One of my favorite little personal twists: there's a sweeter, thinner soy sauce (not sticky) that comes with one of the potato salads, and I love adding that to the macaroni salad. It totally transforms it and gives it a whole new depth of flavor. Affordable, generous portions, consistently delicious, and clearly made with care. There's a great variety display of banchan sides to choose from next to the register. The lady who took my order was super friendly. I decided to pick up the mini bulgogi for $17 total. The mini is definitely not mini, which caught me by surprise. It comes with two banchan sides, so I got a side of japchae and bean sprouts. I enjoyed the flavor of the bulgogi. Perfect amount of sweetness and includes onions and shredded carrots. Also came with a hefty serving of japchae, beansprouts, and rice. Been here 3 times now and all 3 times the food and sides were consistently good. We enjoy the price and portions they give here. The meat Jun and BBQ chicken plates can feed me, my wife and 4 kids very well and we get pretty full. This time we decided to try a small Lemon pepper chicken and had them make it extra crispy since we were all a little hungrier today. It tasted good just wish they put a little more lemon pepper seasoning on it and it would be perfect. The place is plain and it's not as inviting to eat in as other spots but I'd rather the food taste good and the prices be reasonable for the big portions then the place look fancy as we usually take it to go most times anyway. This is one of those places you have to see to believe, and I'm now a believer. Jin's isn't a traditional Korean bbq, it's more like a Korean version of something like L & L bbq. The menu is humble, offering 1 and 2 meat plates with sides. I opened for the 2 mean plate with their fried chicken and spicy pork. That comes with 4 sides AND rice which is already insane. My wife got the garlic shrimp and 2 side with rice. When I tell you this is the definition of value? Literally insane. The food on my plate was actually busting the to go box open so much because it couldn't fit. The fried chicken was super juicy and fresh and the spicy pork was delicious. One thing to note that all the sides minus the rice were served cold so if you're looking for hot veggies this isn't the place, however the focus is on the meat and the rice which were both incredibly delicious. One reason I've lowered the stars is because although I ordered a mini I was only offered the two sides when at the sister location I got 2 sides and a replacement for the rice. I kind of feel like I should have said something but wasn't in the mood to potentially argue. If I don't eat rice I should be able to get my 2 sides and replace the rice with something else. While I waited for my food, the music was good so I bopped to the rhythm. I was not happy that I was charged a convenience fee and wasn't informed about it before being charged. I googled it and saw that I shouldn't have been charged so I went and was given the money back. I still think I should have been informed about the charge prior to paying. When you place your order, the team at Jin's Korean BBQ will place all of your sides in a to-go container, and then bring your to-go container in the back of the kitchen to finish the order. Jin's Korean BBQ offers a wide range of Chicken, Pork, Beef, Shrimp, Mandoo plates, Veggie plates, and so much more! There are some yummy chicken dishes like Honey Soy Garlic Chicken, Fried Chicken, Yangnyeom Chicken, Lemon Pepper Chicken and so many other options! Omg, Jin's reminds me of Hawaii Style Korean BBQ plate lunch spots. So happy Jin's is in Las Vegas. Order at the counter then choose your side dishes. I ordered the mixed plate. Pick 2 items + 4 sides + rice =$10.50. Meat Jun + $6, Kalbi + $10 = $26.50+tax. I had the Jap chae, bean sprouts, cucumber kimchee, pickled onions. All the sides were delicious but I would not order the bean sprouts again. It lacked flavor to me. I'd order the shoyu potato instead. The kalbi was ono. So tender and flavorful. The meat Jun was also delicious. The serving was huge but then again, it cost me $26.50+ tax. Here are my recommendations for the restaurant. Slice the meat Jun. It's hard to eat it especially that they didn't provide me with a knife to cut it. Every bite I took, the egg did not stick to the meat that it fell apart. Also, put the sauce with the food container instead of in the bag loose. By the time I got back to my office, the sauce spilt all over so I didn't even get to taste the sauce. This place has the BEST mac salad. Not too much mayo or wet creamy texture. It's literally perfect. Sometimes I order just the mac salad when I have a craving for it. The kalbi ribs can sometimes be tough but have great flavor. The cucumber kimchi also has great flavor- I just wish they cut the cucumbers smaller. To my surprise though, it's more like Korean/Hawaiian fusion. I wanted to see how this place held up since the items looked good and the protein portion was generous.
