Ok flew in on Super Bowl Sunday!!!! Looking for good eats before the game & checking into the hotel. Since there is always Hawaiian transplant willing to share their aloha we settled on Opulicious Poke & Plate lunch!!! Oops they are closed due to a special Super Bowl party but like all good people from Hawaii they open their doors and invited us to order from their regular menu! True aloha!! Got their Aloha Bowl - choose the garlic ahi - loved the poke the garlic hit the spot - laulau really good and lomi salmon is Ono! Patelle stew - OMG - best stew ever - a ton of flavor - gotta come back for more Looks like we'll have to return to have more of their Ono food

Support local biz! This is a hidden small mom and pop shop in a plaza with future Tesla superchargers. They have all the classic poke dishes and chicken and rice plates. The spicy mayo poke I got was delicious! The hubby got a fried garlic chicken plate with beef stew. The only thing I liked less was the spam Musubi since it had a high ratio of rice and I hate just eating chunks of plain rice with a slim spam. Food: - Spicy Mayo Poke - super yummy - Garlic Chicken plate with beef stew - Spam Musubi (way too much rice)

I've been "jonesing" for Opulicious' garlic salmon belly for 2 years since my last visit in '23. So, obviously, I had to get some, along with a couple of poke bowls and garlic Chicken for the fam on my first day here. It's as good and delicious as I remember. They were actually out of the belly, so even cut me fresh pieces from a new slab. The owners and staff are always so respectful and friendly, and I look forward to many more meals while I'm here.

We wanted to check out Opulicious Poke & Plate Lunch. We arrived around 1:15pm on a Friday . They had a late start so unfortunately they were out of most of their pre-made poke flavors but they could make more if needed, though they had limited amount of salmon poke left. Unfortunately, they didn't have the squid Luau, or lau lau. Sadness But they had other dishes to make up for it. Also, soda fountain machines was broke. Only canned/bottled soda or Hawaiian Sun drinks. Hawaiian house music. Indoor air-conditioned seating only. Two separate men & Women's restrooms. *Combination Plate: mac salad, steamed rice, pastelle stew, garlic chicken. The mac salad is different as they use spaghetti-like pasta. The pastelle stew is seasoned well and hearty. The garlic chicken was deep-fried to a golden brown and had a nice crunch to it. Though, it was a bit over-fried so the chicken was dry. *Salmon Furikake: teriyaki sauce, furikake, & onions (4/5). Flavorful, yet it doesn't overpower the salmon. *Ahi Limu & Ogo: salt, onions, inamona, oil, chili, limu, ogo, Aloha shoyu (4/5). The tuna was fresh and subtle. Reminded me of Hawaii. It's a small family business and connected next door with Da Hale Bar & Grill. Support your local business.

Walking into Opulicious Poke & Plate Lunch in Las Vegas felt like stumbling upon a slice of Hawaii right in the heart of Las Vegas . Super cozy with the Hawaiian vibes. The atmosphere was laid-back and inviting. Staff was delightful and helped us understand the menu. We have tried several theirs the most favorite and the most popular poke bowls, everything was delicious and prepared fresh. The serving size was generous & flavors were outstanding. Their poke bowls were the real deal - packed with flavor and enough to fill you up . It's definitely the spot to hit up when you're craving a taste of the islands in Las Vegas, no doubt about it!

I'm so lucky to live close to this restaurant. Get their poke and garlic chicken. You can eat there or take it home. You order at the counter but they bring out the food to you to the table kind of service. The only bad part is that they close at 5. Come check this place out and support locals!

I was hungry for some Poké machos and found this place on Yelp! They did not disappoint! Good portion! Good price and tasty homemade nachos. Small little place but the food was good! I'll be back for more nachos!

Friendly hospitality with awesome Aloha Spirit.. food quantity and quality is awesome, nice Hawaiian style dining room atmosphere. I'll definitely return for other menu items..!!!!

Wow. Best poke nachos in town. I've been dying to come here since I hear all great things about this place. I got the tuna poke nachos! I like the wonton chips that went so well with the poke. The poke was bombbbb. I'm very picky with poke here in twin but this checked all the boxes. Fresh fish and sauces were on point! The ahi tuna katsu and the garlic chicken were good too!! Seasoned and crunchy. Not too saucy. Perfection. Service was quick! Staff was friendly. Chill ambiance. Just casual.

    Are you open on thanksgiving?

Aloha. We will be open on Thanksgiving from 9am-11am for pre-order pickups only. Mahalo for asking!

Open or closed on Monday? Here now at the restaurant and the door says closed. The Yelp info says open on Mondays Disappointed.?

Has always been closed on Mondays

Is this place still open? Doors were locked today and no answer at the phone ...

They are opened but started closing on Mondays. You'll see their sign from the front door. I quit going there as well because of their lack of announcement. I wasted a couple trips there and I live far just to find out that they are closed Mondays.…

Do they have a sign saying when they will reopen?

They're not :( we just checked

Is Opulicious open for business now? They've been temporarily closed since February. Wish they would open soon

Supposedly March 15th but that came and went

What day do you have squid luau?

Fridays. You can order squid luau alone or the hawaiian plate which includes kalua pig, rice, lomi salmon, squid luau and chicen long rice.

Does the restaurant have delivery or take out?

You can order take out. No deliveries

Do you add butterfish to your lau lau?

Sorry, no butter fish. Just pork.

    What is the hours here?

Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 8pm Sunday 10AM to 5PM Monday closed

The oxtail soup was really good: the broth seemed like it has a good amount of shoyu in it (it was dark), and had really nice beef flavor. There were also some shiitake mushrooms, which added to the umami, and fresh cilantro which, paired with the grated ginger, really complemented the savory elements. The oxtails were super tender and plentiful. The meat was well seasoned and fell off the bone. I've eaten a lot of oxtail soup, and this was really good. The limu poke was also solid. The limu was a nice touch: it's not as frequent to see it on the mainland, and I like the smoky flavor it imparts on the poke. The taro turnover was a revelation. It was so good it didn't make it to photos. The pastry crust was flakey, the taro was warm and sweet, and the Carmel drizzle was really nice. It does take 20 minutes to get the turnover, but I think it's worth it.

The Kalua pig was a very tasty version. One of the better ones I've had in town for my taste. Not too smoky, felt like it was roasted for a long time. The meat was still intact but tender. Ribs were as they always are. The only thing today, was that the boxes didn't feel as full as they normally do. Only got 4 ribs today and they weren't all that meaty. The pig dish wasn't full to the brim either. Also, prices have gone up from the menu, so seeing higher prices (totally understandable) and less food was a little disappointing. Service was friendly for the most part, but be ready for longer waits. Maybe it was because of the move, but it was a 15-20 min wait today. The ribs are still the best in town, I'm hoping the small portion was just a one off.

Interesting menu, I typically ask the server what's your favorite? I also ask if the salad dressing and desserts are made here in the kitchen. I've had and sold enough of the pre-made. Now, my wife is Hawaiian and she's always a yes for island food, so here goes. I started with the Portuguese soup which was quite stewy and very tasty good. I'd say they sure like "the starch" my initial review of the menu. Chicken is all thigh meat, so I ordered the "trio" of chicken. That's a taste of their favorites all fried, Korean fried, katsu, and original. M went with the teriyaki which had no breading. All of my fried chicken was breaded or battered in the kitchen, so there is some inconsistency in "doneness" which is fine with me. Two very large scoops of white rice and a scoop of cold elbow macaroni salad. The macaroni salad wasn't too complex, sauce and pasta it was ok. We also tried the "famous". Lilioki beverage, okay free refills, the Orange Bang isn't my thing, the acid is too much for me lately. Everything was good, nothing great, no WoW but certainly reasonable. Next was deciding on our dessert, all made in house with the turnovers selling out fast. You can come just for the baked goods. Orders on line are kept warm in individual locker units, pretty good idea. We were taking ours home and ordered a slice each. Chantilly cake and Coconut cake. The cake was half the price of most restaurants these days. Having tasted both I'd say the cake was made by white cake mix and flavored frosting, which may be the island way, I don't know. the service was very good, every menu item was explained and service was speedy. I have been let down I believe 4 times here and after my first 3 fails I usually stop. But with it being a birthday I wanted to eat what the buddy wanted. First 2 times I remember the rice was under cooked or not enough water when steaming. I explained my rice felt like little pebbles and staff just said okay and did nothing about it. I was blown away. (This was when they first opened btw). Then in the recent visits this year the quality just wasn't tasty, looked okay but the looks were deceiving as Hek. Anyone ever get Mac salad with your Hawaiin food? I sure have and it's generally a scoop, like an ice cream scoop size right? Not here! (You'll see the pic). When I saw my Mac salad in a half ounce cup I asked the person maybe the cook that was about to bag it, if it was mine. Rudely I got "not if you ordered poke, you don't get that". I was confused but mentioned I got the combo. He replied "then yup that's yours". Still confused on why your upset with me asking I just waited till it was all bagged. Even though we were eating there it's made to go. Since it was made to go, we ate outside the restaurant. The protein was stacked so high on what felt like 10 scoops of rice. I love rice but sheesh the trickery here is insane. Yet alone the flavors are not there either. So basic compared to surrounding Hawaiin spots. This place inside is very nice, very empty at all times even being in a casino. So it's clean from the lack of return customers. They have merch up front and a fair amount of seating. No one I've met in the casino staff has recommended this place. I was rooting for this place, loving Hawaiin food but they have not shown promise.
