Da Vien is a cute and very welcoming coffee shop specializing in authentic Vietnamese coffee as well as many other drinks. The interior is very modern, clean and bright. The customer service here is on point! I didn't know what I wanted or what to order but the employee was great at assisting me. I'm quite new to Vietnamese coffee but this seems to be the "IT" spot if you want a great one. I went with the DV Coffee which is Vietnamese Coffee topped with Einspanner Cream and Cocoa Powder. Their coffee is SUPER STRONG!! The drink itself was really good and the addition of the cream and cocoa powder added a little sweetness to it. It was so good that I had it two days in a row lol. It is a fairly simple coffee shop with seating age standing room. They have good options from coffee to tea. We ended up trying to drinks. The matcha, which was so smooth and good! Not overly sweet. The ube foam has a strong ube flavor, and the matcha is bright but I prefer a more umami flavor from my matcha so I think I might try the coffee next time. I've been to this location couple of times and other Da Vien locations many many times. I'm not new to my order as I get the same thing every single time. Long story short they made my drink wrong - and instead of owning up to it and apologizing they tried to gaslight me saying I ordered it incorrectly. Mind you I don't even customize my drink, I legit order off the menu and get it just the way it's made. It's ok to make a mistake especially if you're new or you're having a bad day. It's located in a strip mall. It was pretty busy, but the line did go fast. They do offer a self kiosk. You can place your order from there or walk up to the staff. There is a seating area and it is modernly decorated. We weren't planning to sit down as we were going to Pickup but there weren't many seats available. They have plenty of options, some I've never seen before. I believe they only have one size because I wasn't asked. I had the salted cream iced coffee. It was really good. I was really impressed. With that said, I feel like the iced coffee was very minimal with a ton of ice. I felt like I took three sips and it was all just the salted cream. The cream alone is about 1/3 of the drink. The salted cream reminded me of a whipped cake but with salt. It was good texture. If I go next time, I would order it with minimal cream. I also tried the lychee Jasmine tea and that was amazing as well with 2 large lychee balls. The ice they used in their drinks is your small ball Sonic type ice which I love. read more

Ordered it via the app for a quick, easy pick up because I know their stores can get slammed with orders and take a while when these deals are rolled out. I have had: - Banana Matcha - Blended Coconut Coffee - Ube coffee (my favorite!) Their locations are almost always clean, minimalist design, and provide solid excellent service. Seating is limited at this location compared to the others. They give you the option to order at the counter or on your own at the kiosk. They have one bathroom which is pretty clean! I loved this spot! I have tried banana lattes other places, but this place def holds my favorite so far! They put banana pudding on top of the latte oh my goodness so good!! Immediately I was so excited to try it when I saw that cause I have never had that before! It was $7 for the 20oz so pretty comparable to other places! The guy who helped me was very nice and even though there was like 2 or 3 people in front of me my drink came out so fast! Fast and friendly service :) There was a decent amount of seating on the inside, but I did not take a photo cause all tables were taken. This place was pretty consistently busy the whole time I was there so it may be difficult to maybe get a spot if you are trying to study I am assuming, but all depends on time of day! #158 in my Coffeeshop Chronicles. Da Vien, a popular Vietnamese coffee chain, recently opened their fourth location right here in Cerritos. I went to their OG Westminster location years ago, but I couldn't remember my impressions so I figured I'd give this new shop a try. I ordered a salted latte and an ube matcha. The Salted latte was a sweet latte with a sea salt foam, and was delicious once mixed. I also enjoyed the ube foam on the matcha latte; the foam was rich and decadent. Unfortunately, the matcha itself was unremarkable. I think I'll stick to their coffee drinks going forward, and I'm excited to try their other espresso-based options. P.S. The lines are much better now compared to when they first opened a few weeks ago. It was a smooth process overall. Update: How sweet is their business manager's response? Da Vien has been one of my go-to coffee spots in the area. They're open super early on weekdays, so when I have to go the office in the morning, they're one of the few good coffee shops that's open at 6am. I usually order ahead and place a mobile order for faster pickup. My go-to drink is their Matcha Creme coffee drink, it's so good! The matcha foam is perfect with the vietnamese coffee base. The vietnamese coffee is on a sweeter side but you can customize the sweetness level when you're ordering. The store is located inside a strip mall with other shops and I've never had an issue with parking in the morning. Definitely recommend coming here because their order drinks are good as well! read more

This place opened to much fanfare not long ago and I drove by to see how the line was at about 6AM......but I didn't go there since I always go to the OG Location in Westminster....Actually I am sitting in the Westminster one currently as I write this review! They aren't much of a traditional coffee shop as much as a flavored and specialty mix coffee shop.... I try not to drink coffee after noon time since I have sleep issues I got a Peach Tea and my buddy got the Ube Coffee..... He liked it a lot in fact I guess he's been here a few times.....the Peach tea was good....the place is clean since it's new and I like the tables/seating better than the location on Bolsa..... Only thing is because the location is quite small they store stuff for the shop in the front covered by drapes....overall though that isn't too much of a bother.... read more
