While I should be posting as a posted a review my fingers were just a little juicy from the chicken, that's a good start! I ordered the same; Chicken, Green Chile Mac and baked beans. Stephanie was on task and asked me to wait a few and the wait was about 5 minutes. I glanced back at the kitchen and saw her and that chicken doing that juicy dance a smile came across my face, I said to myself.. good start! I started with the beans, yes, finally, spiced and seasoned with some heat, not mushy,firm and with some onions calling my name. Okay, it's working now..seasoning was on point. Green Chile Mac! Hello Green Chiles, where have you been! Thank YOU! Chiles were good size and were complimentary to the Mac. Those were in fact Green Chiles.. firm with a good bite and texture. The cheese didn't overrun the Chiles all in balance. Now the chicken, no bbq sauce was needed as there was nothing to cover up! Juicy, moist and flavor filled with just a hint of smoke as to not over power the chicken. Even after an hour the chicken is still moist and seasoning again just enough to let the bird shine. Overall this return visit was worth the try. I appreciate owners when a customer is truthful about a review and is honest and can tell the owners what was an issue and allow them the opportunity to fix if not for you but all of their customers. Without feedback you can grow a cliental. For me you have to eat, how the chef prepares the meal and allow their work to shine without adding extra salt, pepper or kill it with sauces but that's just me! The staff was so engaging and I actually found out they grew up in the same neighborhood so that's a plus. Overall - I was really happy and yes, some of that chicken may become a midnight snack. Service (4 stars) Bartender was extremely patient while waiting to take our order. Recommended one of the in-house beers. Atmosphere (4 stars) Seems like they have a decent local following. I would go back and sit at the bar and enjoy a beer. But never going back for a meal. Cleanliness (3 stars) Bathrooms are not clean.

Having a Dae Gee location in Aurora got me excited that my friends and I decided to try it. So you are probably wondering why 2 stars right? Here we go: 1. For the all you can eat, everyone at the table has to order the all you can eat. Some members of our party do not eat meat so it was not accommodating for the non-meat eaters. Hopefully they change this or we may not come back. 2. There were absolutely no kid friendly options. 3. Both the men and women's restrooms had signs that said "Out of Order". What?! So if both were out how does the staff and customers go to the restroom? We found this unacceptable. 4. We found this location to be a little awkward when serving. One person in the party is Asian, however when full Korean parties came in they received side dishes and their food way faster than mixed parties when we ordered 15 minutes prior to the others that just walked in. 5. The goon mandu was obviously store bought and prior frozen when all the other Korean restaurants in the area are home made. They get 2 stars because when we finally got our entree it was actually pretty good (even though majority of our party wanted the all you can eat but couldn't and had to kick something off the limited menu). We got the gook, dak bulgolgi, bulgogi, and soondubu cheegae. The ban chan was not good and it seemed to be days old granted that these are fermented they were not good. read more

This used to be my favorite place for Korean BBQ but I am disappointed and disgusted by how awful the food has become. First of all, I came in with a friend of mine and the service was terrible and it is not just in this specific location, It's in EVERY single location. The servers are snobs and slow, like what else do they have to do other than serve you your drinks and sides, I mean WE CUSTOMERS cook our own food. Their employees do not seem like they want to work for this establishment and they are straight up rude!! The sides? Uhh, have these people stopped caring about the food they serve? Because KOREAN BBQ is supposed to be comfort food and there is nothing comforting about the food they serve now. It used to be great but if I could do a negative star, I would give them a few. My husband and I used to look forward to our weekly Dae Gee dates but the last 4-5 times have been unbearable and for the money we pay, We are better off going elsewhere. This establishment is a disgrace for Koreans, this is not what korean food is like. Just close your stores if you cannot keep up to the standards you CLAIM to have. read more

We had the Bee Been Bhop, which is a rice/noodle/meat/vegetable bowl. The presentation was great! It came in a hot stone bowl, and whenit came out it was sizzling like a fajita which was awesome. Taste wise for me it was good, but not awesome, which is just fine. Another thing that made the meal great was that 8 free mini appetizers came with the meal. "All you can eat". It's really interesting with some of these restaurant, when it's supposed to be all you can eat but then they bring you 3 little pieces of meat. Then on top of that the quality of the meat is not the best. read more
