Back once again and this time I brought a new friend. Hopefully, he's writing his own review but mine is pretty consistent with my experiences here. Tom greeted me ever so pleasantly upon my arrival. It's good to be a regular here because I was so graciously treated to the new soft shell crab appetizer which was perfectly friend and super tasty when coupled with the sweet chilli dipping sauce. I ordered my regular Khao Soi with shrimp as an entree and my friend had what appeared to be drunken noodles with chicken. He was very happy with his choice. The vibe was lovely and chill as always, which makes it a great date night spot. I'll be back because it's one of my favorite ever Thai spots!

Good place to get Thai food around New Orleans. Good service, good looking menu. The food came out hot and fresh, the noodles were pretty good, could be a tiny bit more flavorful, overall I recommend and will come back.

The best Thai I have had in awhile. Amazing that it was in New Orleans. Had superb deep fried shrimp over steamed veggies. The shrimps are huge. Pricing is affordable at $15 for this appetizer. My main was excellent. Stir fried mixed vegggies with meat (can't remember if I got pork or chicken). Their rice was really good too! Beautiful / simple interiors.

This place is so nice inside. Owners were very welcoming & helpful. We four all really enjoyed our food. We ate a lot in New Orleans and this restaurant was in all our top 2. Definitely the best fish we had while there. Fresh, perfectly cooked and largest portion! They have happy hour too! Don't pass this place up. Everything was fresh, served hot & very delicious!

In town for work and , trusting Yelp, swung in for Thai. As usual, Yelp didn't disappoint. I got the drunken noodles with Shrimp which were listed as mid level spice. In hindsight , I would ask for more spice but that is just a personal preference. Food was good and fresh and I will definitely come back next time I'm in town.

This is such a beautiful place offering great Thai cuisine! As we sat at a nearby restaurant we noticed the happy hour sign and ended up coming back to the area next day to have a drink and conversation. Our servers were very attentive to us and checked on us the breeze on the patio was amazing. Our seafood salad and crispy shrimp dumplings pared well with our drinks and breeze. There was a special on soft shell crab that we were too full to get but definitely worth a stop in!

Dahla is such a beautiful, cozy gem! The space is small and intimate with outdoor seating that sets the perfect vibe. The staff was super welcoming and attentive from the moment I walked in. I ordered the spicy drunken noodles and they were very well seasoned. My only change would be having the veggies sautéed a bit longer for a tender bite. I am already plotting my return for happy hour and to try their dessert menu!

Enjoyed the chicken pad thai. Spring rolls were meh. Very good customer service. Beautiful ambiance.

We were in NOLA for a trip and were craving Thai food! Luckily, Dahla was nearby us and we decided to check this place out! Walking in, the restarting was so beautiful! It was not too loud, a perfect place for date night ;) We got drinks (I cannot remember what drinks we got, but I remember we all loved ours)! My friends ordered drunken noodles and I got Khao Soi Chicken. Both dishes were AMAZING. Enjoy these photos from my digital camera, thank you to our server for taking a photo of us too (not shown)! Check this place out if you're in NOLA!

Pad Thai, pinapple fried rice, Panang curry

Walked in and the decor creates an incredible ambiance - I felt like I was transported to another country (in a good way!) Servers were very attentive to our needs and our order came out quickly. The food was delicious - pineapple fried rice and pad Thai were very tasty. The Panang curry could have been thicker consistency-wise, but the flavor was perfect. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for some good Thai food in New Orleans!

Drunken noodles with tofu

I got stood up by my date, but the ambience was so nice, I didn't much care. Stunning chandeliers made of metallic leaves and stylish modern decor give it a zen, peaceful vibe. Props to their interior decorator! I got the drunken noodles with tofu, and they were delicious. Nice chewy noodles and extra crispy tofu, and the spice level was just what I asked for. I greatly enjoyed it and finished everything. If I had to nitpick, I would have liked a little more salt, but that was easily fixed with a salt shaker. Also, the tofu could have used more sauce. It is usually tossed in it along with the noodles and it kinda seemed like this was fried and added after? Still delicious, though. I just made sure I got some tofu and some noodles in every bite to evenly distribute that saucey flavor. Service was friendly and my food came out quickly. This place is right en route to the PO which I go to regularly, so I'll definitely go back again. I want to try the curries.

Basil fried rice with chicken

Came here with my husband and two colleagues. They were quite busy but we were lucky to get the last table on the patio. I really enjoyed my curry panang dish! Excellent flavor. Had the edamame to start and crispy tofu (4 out of 5 on that one). Everyone else really seemed to enjoy theirs too. Would go back!

I recently visited this Thai restaurant with a friend and had an amazing time. They have a daily happy hour from 4:30-6:30 PM, offering $5 off their signature cocktails. We tried the Dahla 75, their twist on the classic French 75, and enjoyed it so much that we ordered it again. Although I usually opt for red curry, I decided to try the yellow curry based on our waiter's recommendation, and I was delighted with the choice! The waiter also suggested getting a side of rice to enjoy with the leftover curry after finishing the noodles, which was a fantastic tip. The ambiance is lovely, making it perfect for a date night. The staff was attentive and regularly checked in on us. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I will definitely be back. Note it's located in the CBD so be prepared to pay for parking.

Best Thai food in New Orleans. I'd argue the best restaurant in the CBD. Their Basil Fried Rice is one of my favorite meals in the city.

I thought we were going to another place when one of my guests suggested Thaihey across the street from the fire station on Decatur. Yes, sure. It's a typical Quarter restaurant with its long gallery seating. We were seated right away. The menu appeared to be heavily vegetarian which was great for my two friends. Many will understand the limited menu options for vegetarians at most places. Wes ordered Tom Kai, Becky the Massaman Jackfruit option and I the one with short rib. It was delicious. It was warm and comforting, full of flavor and the chef made it less spicy for me. What a delight to choose a menu option that I have never had and restaurant that I have never been to. With that out of the way, choosing tofu as the protein opens up almost the entire menu, very nice. We had Pad Thai, Pad Cha stir fry, and tofu soup. All were very well seasoned and outstanding. We ate at the sidewalk seating on a glorious evening. Not much more to say. Order at the counter, get a number, find a table, food will be delivered and the table cleared. When we arrived there was a line out the door (maybe 20-25 yards); this line was constant from the time we arrived til we departed. Thai food can sometimes be hit or miss for me, and I'm usually pretty particular about what I order. I don't tend to branch out too much when it comes to Thai food because I already know what I like. But this place definitely impressed me. From the rice dishes to the noodle dishes, everything was seasoned perfectly and packed with flavor. Each bite was delicious, and I really enjoyed how well-balanced all the flavors were. It was the kind of meal where you just keep eating and forget you were supposed to take pictures in the first place! The restaurant itself is spacious and has a really beautiful aesthetic. I loved the combination of the artwork and exposed brick walls. Together, they create this rustic, cozy feel that makes the space feel both stylish and inviting. The ordering process is pretty simple. They give you a menu when you arrive, and then you head up to the register to place your order and pay. The food came out surprisingly quickly, which was definitely a plus because I was hungry! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here. The food was flavorful, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the service was quick and easy. I'm glad I decided to give this place a try, and I'd definitely come back to enjoy another meal here.

First off -- the food itself was VERY fresh, flavorful, and honestly really good. The portions are absolutely humongous. Like... huge. My husband was born and raised in East New Orleans, where this restaurant is located, so he knows the area very well. This place seems fairly new though, so we wanted to support a small business and give it a try. One thing I will say is the customer service wasn't the friendliest. There were only two of us, and with the amount of food we ordered, I feel like they could've at least warned us about how large the portions were. We originally ordered the 5-piece wings, but they didn't have that option available, so they automatically gave us the 10-piece without really explaining it or saying anything beforehand. The vibe honestly felt a little like you have to know people there to get the full welcoming experience because we noticed other customers getting smiles and a little more interaction, while ours felt very dry. Not sure what that was about. Also, the food does take a LONG time to come out, but you can definitely tell it's freshly made, so I can appreciate that. Overall, despite the service not being the best, the food was really good and worth trying. I'd definitely order from here again if we're back in the area -- but probably to-go next time. That's just my honest review.
