Place was pretty cool. It's an old house on 7th. A small old house to be clear. The seats at the bar look super comfy. Too bad the ones everywhere else weren't. My ass still hurts. Food was tasty. The shrimp and potato croquettes delectable. The steak was fabulous. No real parking but that's alright, just park at the coffee joint around the way. Chilled Shrimp - Grilled to perfection and came with a House Tartar Sauce and Cocktail Sauce. Yum!! Spanish Dates - Extreme wow So damn good, Medjool Dates stuffed with Spanish Chorizo, then wrapped in Bacon!! Came with a side of Pickled Veggies. Best app of the night. Octopus Carpaccio- You know I had to. Prepared amazingly, tasted super fresh, came with Tostadas, Pickled Red Onions, Manzano Peppers and a Salsa Negra. Smackalicious!! They also had some good ass drinks, I won't list all the ingredients but none disappointed. All contained either Mezcal or Tequila. I encourage you to make a reservation, not only because it's a popular spot, but the adorable home that has been converted into the restaurant has limited seating (but trust me it's worth it!). Dahlia popped up on one of my social feeds and I just had to take my wife out the next day. Quaint old home on 7th street repurposed to a restaurant. Service was great never missed a beat. Now let's get into the real good stuff...the food! We started with the house bread with tomato sauce and which tasted like a roasted garlic spread just fantastic! The chilled shrimp with house made cocktail and tartar sauce were amazing, well seasoned with a hit of spice at the end. The potato croquettes though weee out of this world good. I savored every bite. The ribeye again was seasoned to perfection and cooked perfectly the accompanying chimichuri was that extra touch sending it over the top. My wife loved her drinks especially the Black Dahlia. The dessert was like a hybrid flan / crème brûlée it was delicious. All in all on of my favorite restaurant visits in the valley in ages. Interesting small cozy restaurant in downtown Phoenix. The menu was good, lots of little to medium to large sized. tapas. We tried almost everything and my favorite was the lamb drumsticks that were cooked to perfection, nice and warm on the inside! It was served with two kinds of sauces and one was so HOT that I drank two or more glasses of water and ate some bread as my tongue was burning! The Iberico ham which was thinly sliced and was so delicious! We had the asparagus salad which was light dressed and cut into strips! Most interesting. Service was amazing, we were constantly checked upon. My only regret was the restroom door lock. It gave the restaurant a cheap rundown look as it was just a sliding bolt that ran into a hole on the door. Also, parking was limited. Otherwise, this is a must try place! read more

This spot is so unique and inviting. We really enjoyed ourselves, service was excellent. Between the four of us we were able to taste quite a few things and nothing was disappointing. Absolutely phenomenal experience! I came for Mother's Day with my oldest son and had delicious food and incredible service! The Jamón Iberico was out of this world. We will always remember how it melted in our mouths. The Argentine Ribeye was so tender and flavorful, and the Chimichurri with it put it over the top. If you don't love sardines/mackerel, skip the Boquerones, though they were interesting. The sangria was delicious. The creme brulee was okay; it was too shallow to stay cold when the top was torched, so it was warm throughout. I'm still looking forward to going back soon and trying the octopus!! read more

A good friend and I made a reservation for 5PM at the bar. The place is a small house turned into a fun and cozy place to enjoy drinks and good tapas. Fernando and Audrey took care of us at the bar, we had some lively banter with both, which makes the experience interesting. The parking was a little tricky at first but they have signage directing you where to park. Parking is a few buildings south, easy find. Between the two of us we tried a handful of different drinks on the cocktail menu, all were bright and zesty. They also have a nice wine list and a few beer options. When it came to food we ordered one small and three large tapas. The pan con tomate, the potato croquettes, the toasted vegetables and the lollipop lamb chops. All of those married great together and were served with a quick break in-between our first two. The combination of the drinks, the food and the fun experience at the bar made it a great dining event. I will return and bring a few other friends to this new spot and try more of their delicious tapas. read more
