If you're looking for a quick and affordable sushi spot with decent quality fish, I would recommend this place. Nothing exceeded my expectations. Sashimi quality was decent, some were a bit too mushy for my liking. Service was super quick, parking was easy to find since there's a lot, and the inside of the restaurant was cozy. Sashimi for 1 (14 pcs)- 7/10, generous thick cuts and came with 5 different cuts of fish. Pretty worth it for the price since it was only around $27 Fire roll- 7.5/10 Toro nigiri Sunday special $4/pc: 6/10, every toro I've had from other places typically wow me, but this one didn't really give that same experience. Although it was pretty affordable, I wouldn't get it again

Daiki to the rescue! Plans for my daughter's birthday fell through this evening, and we luckily stumbled upon Daiki restaurant. At around 5:45 pm, they were already busy but we were able to grab a table for 3. My daughter was in the mood for some fried appetizers, so we grabbed a couple, along with rolls and sashimi to share. When you go to a sushi restaurant, I feel like it is either grubby or good quality sushi. What I liked about Daiki was that it was a good mix between both. Sashimi for 1 comes with a variety of sashimi, mostly in 3 pieces, which was perfect for us. Good quality sashimi in generous portions. We also enjoyed their rolls and appetizers. Service was quick and friendly. The place is cozy and clean, and has easy parking. They offer different daily specials for different days of the week. We enjoyed celebrating here, and would come back next time we are in the area.

I made a quick stop here on my way home from work. It was not busy. I ordered the Eel Roll and their Monday Special, Salmon Sashimi for $1.00 per slice. I ordered three slices. This was a to go order. The Salmon looked good with some thick slices. The Eel Roll was also good. They offer Lunch Specials. Parking: a shared lot. Rating: 4 Stars

Impressed by the quick service and the thick cuts on their Sashimi for 2. The sashimi was so fresh and the quality was delightful. The special also includes with miso soup and a side salad. The presentation was beautiful, and I enjoyed every bite!

Stopped by for lunch and it wasn't busy. The 3-combo meal and the chirashi bowl both had generous portions and were absolutely worth it, esp for lunch special prices. The fish quality was fresh and came in surprisingly huge slices. The uni on the menu caught my eye it was delicious! I recommend coming here!

A low key, sushi dominant spot that keeps the focus exactly where it should be. Its clean, simple interior won't distract you from what you're really here for--the sushi. I grabbed a seat at the sushi bar to get up close with the fish... and the chefs. The sashimi was fresh and high quality‍ The service was fine--efficient and no-frills, just like the ambiance. If you're after high-end decor or extravagant presentations, this isn't your spot. But if you want quality sushi, prepared well and paired with thoughtful drinks, Daiki has you covered.

Unfortunately, this place was just okay for me. I came with a friend after a workout at LA Fitness. We originally had another spot in mind, but since they were closing, we ended up here instead. I wouldn't go so far as to call myself a sushi snob, but I do care about quality. With that said, I'm not sure this spot quite delivered. The fish was passable, but nothing stood out. Since it was a Sunday evening, we took advantage of the $1 beers and other Sunday deals which is $2/piece tuna and $4/piece for toro. Honestly, I'm not sure the toro really tasted like toro because it didn't give me that same wow factor I usually get from it elsewhere. We also ordered the Love Roll (I'm a sucker for heart-shaped things), the Super Philly Roll, and a Spicy Tuna Handroll. The spicy tuna handroll and the fatty tuna sushi, in particular, were underwhelming. All in all, it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't memorable either. I'd only come back if a friend really wanted to go; otherwise, I'd prefer to get my sushi fix elsewhere. Service overall was good. My rating is mostly towards the quality of the food, which I didn't really care for.

They do have a really wide selection of rolls. The other person in my group got the spider roll and truly enjoy it. However, it was disappointing that there wasn't much variety for non-fried food in the bento combinations. A good bento box should be a balanced meal, but pretty much my whole meal felt fried. Also, the place doesn't fully represent a traditional Japanese aesthetic, it feels alot more like a Korean twist on sushi. Overall, great for the wallet and good rolls, but just okay on the balance of the bento meal.

The store offers an impressive selection of Japanese goodies, including ramen, condiments, fresh sashimi, and a wide variety of sushi rolls. There are so many options and combinations to choose from. If you are looking for sashimi, head to the back of the store where they have conveniently packaged fish sold by the pound, and they will happily slice it for you. Or, if you are in a hurry, you can grab their freshly made sushi rolls from the refrigerators. On my visit, I picked up ahi tuna, salmon, and yellowtail sashimi, along with California rolls and tuna rolls. Every piece of fish was incredibly fresh with a buttery texture and amazing flavor. The quality of the fish and the perfectly seasoned sushi rice were so good that I barely needed any soy sauce or wasabi. I only recently discovered this hidden gem, but it has already become a place I will be visiting regularly. The sushi is high quality, reasonably priced, and absolutely delicious. So I think that's the only downside to this location, their limited space. BUT that doesn't take away from the quality or flavor of the sush! I picked up an assortment of tuna, salmon, and mixed rolls. All were fresh and delicious with great rice and good fish portions! I brought these for a party and everyone loved it! Yama is still the go-to spot for "market" sushi!
