Fantastic giant croissant, made in house by the owners, can't beat that! One of the better mocha iced lattes I have had! This is what I expect for a decent cup of coffee but its so hard to find a good one. Wish Daily Grinds had more hours, but the way they are built, it works for them. Nice simple spot. Ordered a dirty chai and 2 chorizo and egg croissant sandwiches. Dirty chai wasn't too sweet, it was not the best one I've ever had but still pretty good. Service 5+++/5 : My experience with daily grinds was superb! After popular reviews on instagram and yelp, I was so excited to try their pastries. Some of popular croissants were already sold out before noon. Anyways, there was some minor error processing my take out order. I was totally fine with it, since I am usually flexible. It was very nice and sweet of them to call me and give me an apology for the error. They also cared to give me free hand crafted coffee and egg sandwich in addition to my order. They also called me even after I left the place, offering me an e-gift card. Not every business is so humble and caring for their customer and I really appreciated them. This is something I really love about family business. Food 5/5 I must say, I totally fell in love with their egg saint. Croissant was just the right flaky and buttery! The outer layer was crunchy while the inside was soft and chewy! This really wanted me to try the original version that sold out on me. Eggs were super fluffy and the right amount. So fulfilling and perfect for late breakfast! I am not a sausage patty person, so breakfast sausage sandwich was slightly too meaty for me. The taste of sausage was too strong but this could be balanced out with a fried egg that came with it. Chargrilled chicken Banh Mi was so worth it as well. Right price. Right taste. Chicken was tender. Toppings were fresh. Dipping in sriracha mayo was perfect for my lunch at work. Still fresh the next day. My cortado and the free flavored latte were both decent as well. Went here this morning for Sunday brunch with friends and OMG! I was absolutely blown away by this place! Definitely a hidden gem. Their pastries and croissants are made SO well. The flakiness was perfect, the flavor was out of this world, and the presentation was stunning. The staff is so kind and sweet, as well. Not to mention the prices were SO good! Normally, I would see this kind of croissant (The Lox) for $14 dollars at some other brunch place (especially since it has salmon), but it was only $9! There isn't much seating, but hopefully they're able to add more seating as the place gains more popularity. This spot definitely deserves WAY more attention. Came here with friends and we all LOVED it. There are plenty of coffee options as well as bakery items and brunch foods. And super affordable as well, which is always a huge plus! We all got Danishes and they were delicious!! I got the Chai Latte as well and it came in a nice large mug. There aren't too many seating spots but this place does feel a bit like a hidden gem so there's a good chance you'll be able to find seating when you come here. It's our first time here. We came in for a quick to-go lunch. We got a banh mi and a sandwich. The banh mi exceeded our expectations, considering I had lots of really good banh mi from Vietnamese places. The sausage tasted really good, plus the yummy carrot-daikon pickle, cucumber and the home-made mayo. The jalapeno added a subtle kick to your palette. The portion was a bit small compared to the banh mi I had before. Well, when the food is good, you never have enough. We also got an avocado tartine. The sourdough bread was cruchy toasted, top with arugula and a few pieces of pineapple and thin slices of parmasan cheese. I particularly liked the citrusy and sweet flavor. Even though it was packed in a box, it was nicely plated (see the picture). Loved this small breakfast/coffee shop. It has a lot of character and the staff were great. You order at the counter but they provide table service which was nice. The London fog here is great very creamy and the perfect balance of sweetness. The croissant sandwich was flaky and crispy but the aioli sauce pairing brought it all the way home for me. The croissant was soft in the middle flaky on the outside. We decided to splurge and have the last Chocolate croissant (so if you want one fo early. ). Daily Grind is a new shop just West of DNT in Frisco that serves great coffee paired with wonderful pastries, Banh Mi, and other goodies prepared in-house by the trained chef/owner/manager. I tried a terrific cinnamon/sugar/coconut cronut and 'the grinder,' an amazing sausage/aioli/pate Banh Mi. Wow! The latte was a perfect balance of the high quality matcha and creamy oat milk. It wasn't too sweet or too bitter. I wish it came in a larger size! The Lox was filled with a perfect ratio of lox, cream cheese, tomato, capers, and cucumber. The fresh tomato and cucumber balanced out the cream cheese (which wasn't too heavy!) and the salmon. They're baked fresh daily, perfectly layered, and crispy on the outside. My favorite is the almond, which is filled with an almond cream and dusted with sliced almonds and powdered sugar. Some of my family prefer the fruit; it's made with a vanilla bean custard and is only available on weekends. This flavor often sells out quickly. Me and husband both tried their americano, I tried their small size and husband tried their large size but apparently their large is kinda extra large - it's almost 20oz. Underrated coffee shop in Frisco. The interior is spartan/upscale to the point it would be easy to dismiss what's going on with the food and service here. Their drip coffee is top 5 ever for me. Acknowledge coffee preference is an individual palate thing ... those folks do it right on so many levels. We had breakfast a couple mornings here. The menu is interesting ... but the food that comes out is excellent. I was here for 3 hours so I have a lot to say... brace yourself! I've been on the search for a good place to study that also served Vietnamese coffee (for my boyfriend). We stopped by around 11am on a Saturday and it wasn't terribly packed. There was an adequate number of outlets with a variety of seating-- booths, tables, high top tables. The first thing you notice is the aesthetics. If I had to describe the vibe, it'd be industrial chic? I'm more of a tea drinker, so I got a London Fog. They didn't have this on the menu, but they had Earl grey tea and milk so voila! I was charged $2.95 which is the price of the hot tea. Kendall, our cashier, was very sweet. I try to avoid single-use plastics, so I asked if she could put my drink in a mug instead of a disposable cup, and she happily obliged. I asked for water later and again, she was able to give me a mug instead. She even dropped by my table to refill my water! Unfortunately, the London Fog had too much milk so it overpowered the taste of the tea even though I let it steep for awhile. This is understandable since I ordered something off-menu. I'll try the hot chocolate next time! My boyfriend, who's Viet, loves the strong taste of Vietnamese coffee, but he said this one was not as strong as he liked :( I wanted to try the Cinnamon Sugar Cronut when I arrived, but they were sold out and were making more. I asked about it twice while I was there and finally got to try one when it was done. It was soft, airy, and fluffy, but strangely moist in the middle. I would have liked more cinnamon sugar on it. I hadn't mentioned anything, but Kendall came to apologize to me because she just tried the cronut and admitted that the quality was not up to par with their usual standards. She offered to make it up to me the next time I come back with one that they're proud of. I really appreciate the initiative she took to address something like this and for accommodating my requests. There are 2 gender neutral bathrooms; both were clean. But only the one located on the left has a full-body mirror. You're welcome, ladies :) I am giving 4 stars despite the exemplary service because I have yet to find a fav menu item but love that they are working on being more consistent.
