This place is a hidden gem. My wife and I were randomly driving around and decided to stop here on a whim. The venue is huge. There's tons of outdoor seating, which is great when it's nice outside. I'm a huge sports fan and there's tons of TVs. The drink specials are great for a shot and a beer. The service is fantastic. I didn't get to try the food at the food truck, but I definitely plan on returning and trying the food when I come back!

I love the patio area. It's very spacious and the bar staff is very welcoming. I didn't have food when I went but I do want to go back and give the bbq place a try!

Yo, Dainty Dillo, what's up? I'll tell you what's up, this place is coolio. Huge outdoor patio with tons of seating, outdoor stage, and fire pits with seating that face the river (although the view is a bit obstructed with woodsy overgrowth). Great spot for sports fans because they've got screens all over the place. Cool murals. The inside is more like indoor/outdoor living with more spacious seating. Very friendly and I mean genuinely friendly staff from bartenders to door guys. It's like hanging out at a picnic or barbecue with family and friends. Happy hour here is crazy good. I had a mocktail and a cocktail and my tab was a little under twenty bucks. Great selection of cocktails on draft, frozen cocktails, beers, and more. Yee-haw, y'all.

Riverfront vibes, comfort food, and a laid-back Austin hang! Dainty Dillo is a casual, open-air spot that nails the Austin vibe. Set right off Cesar Chavez with a great view of the river, this place has plenty of picnic tables, cozy fire pits, string lights, and space to relax -- perfect for a chill evening with friends, dogs, or even solo. The food comes from Biggie's Yardhouse on-site and hits all the comfort food notes: cheesy chicken sandwiches, hearty patty melts, loaded fries, and some surprisingly good banana pudding. It's walk-up counter service, super easy and low-pressure. The bar is well stocked with local beer, cocktails, and hard seltzers, plus they offer a few zero-proof options if you're keeping it dry. TVs are everywhere for game days, and there's often live music or DJs spinning without it ever feeling overwhelming. Staff is friendly, service is quick, and the crowd feels relaxed and local. It's also dog- and kid-friendly, which adds to the welcoming vibe. Pro tip: Parking can be tricky, especially on weekends -- rideshare or biking is a smart move. Grab a spot near a fire pit if you can, and plan to stay for sunset and some tunes. In short: good food, good drinks, great atmosphere. One of those rare places that works for both a casual weekday hang and a lively Saturday night out.

Met some friends for drinks on a Saturday night in July after dinner @ Ezov, just a few blocks away. The service was very friendly and professional. There were two people behind the bar and they were quick to say hi and take our orders. There were some vendors giving away freebies such as coolers and beer, so that was a nice bonus! My friends had beers, two different IPAs, and I had to try the espresso affogato martini. It's exactly what it sounds like... A well made espresso martini with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I normally would only have an espresso martini in the early afternoon, but this was a perfect dessert! Unfortunately, the place was pretty empty, there were maybe 3-5 other guests. The deck is really nice and overlooks the river, too bad it was empty that night.

Since I'm doing Dry January, I was wanting to go to a place that had best of both worlds so I chose Dainty Dillo! I got a hot chocolate and it warmed me up instantly. Sadly, I didn't try any cocktails but I will once January is over. I also got the seasonal cheesecake which paired nicely. We went and played some board games and sat by the fire for a couple hours. I decided to bring my pup and she was able to have a nice time too and eat a little bit of fries.

I was looking forward to visiting this spot for a long time. The outdoor experience is very scenic, overlooks the Colorado River. Constant sport coverage by multiple TVs. Their espresso martini was not the best in flavor. But for $7, I can sit with the taste of instant coffee. My friend enjoyed her cucumber cocktail. The parking is located in front or between Planet K.

Parking sucks - there's really nothing around this spot so definitely recommend ridesharing. It's in the old Tillery location but it's a very chill vibe - bunch of picnic tables and foldable lawn chairs. Food and drinks are good! We tried the burger and a salad. I'd go back but for the chill vibe, not really somewhere I'd want to ride share when there's so many other spots with parking down the road.

Good spot for Bachelorette watching on Monday nights. They have half off espresso martinis (they taste like Mexican mochas) on those nights. Happy hour is from 4-7. Parking is extremely limited, but you can park down Tillery and walk over. Drinks are nice cocktail prices without the service. Make sure you check the union app's deal section if you want to save a little $$. For food, we liked the chicken sandwich and the sweet potato fries. The BLAT has a generous amount of bacon. Both would have been easily shareable.

Super cool outdoor space with plenty of fans, speakers, tvs, and quite a bit of seating. You order all of the food through an app as well as the drinks, although there is a bar you can order drinks at too. The app was pretty easy to use and I don't mind using an app so I don't have to wait for someone to come back to the table. We got the chips and queso and split the smash burger. The burger was pretty good but the chips tasted a little stale. All of the mixed drinks were pretty good too.

Came here with some friends for bachelor night and we had such a good time! Such a smart way to bring in a ton of people on a Monday night outside of football season. The Bachelor starts at 7 so we showed up at 6:30 and were able to find street parking nearby but it was pretty busy even though we thought we showed up early lol. Tons of outdoor seating and even lawn chairs set out to watch the show. On Mondays they have half off espresso martinis on tap which were great. We all got some apps to share and everything tasted great. Staff was nice and did a good job handling the crowd. Only criticism is that they were bad about turning the sound back on after commercial breaks so no one could hear for a few minutes several times.

Dainty Dillo is one of my go-to spots! Whether for game day or just wanting to enjoy patio weather without the loud noise of cars or view of a parking lot. All their drinks are amazing, and their espresso martini is to die for! 100% recommend!

Want a chill friday night? This is THE spot. Live music, lots of outdoor seating, string lighting, beautiful views, good food and drinks....what more can you ask for? I got the BLAT sandwich and it was STACKED with bacon, absolutely delicious. The chairs are super comfy and honestly one of my favorite spots!

In the warmer weather which is plentiful in Texas sometimes I shift my focus towards Mexican Lagers and when we were visiting here that sounded amazing. So I went with the Primos Lager. It was an excellent Mexican Lager and totally what I wanted in the flavor profile. Occasionally other Mexican Lagers can be a letdown but not in this case at all... nope... not one bit. In the flavor profile you will taste a grainy flavor, maltiness (but it's not heavy handed. It's very well balanced), citrus and lime are present as well. The Primos is so easy to drink that you could easily have more than one in one sitting... but I behaved and just had the one. Great brewery with fairly large outdoor and indoor seating however it can fill up real fast on Fridays and weekends.

I enjoyed the mezcal samplers on the porch after which I went to the bar and bought a Mezcal negroni which was yummy! Loved being able to walk around and see the different bands. I wasn't quite sure what the panel topic was in the backyard so I just stayed for a few minutes before wandering back to the front until the bands started. I was only able to drop by for a couple hours yesterday but was glad I did! They were giving away free vinyls so I grabbed a few for my friends because I don't have a player. They even had a little tattoo station set up for those who felt like getting a last minute tattoo. It was a chill vibe and good music. Great place to have indoor/outdoor events and gatherings. I was also able to find street parking just a couple blocks down, which is a rare find in Austin these days.

The atmosphere is always friendly, relaxed, and easy to settle into whether you're there for a quick drink or hanging out for the night. The drinks are consistently great, and they also have really solid weekday food specials. The sliders and tots are definitely the go-to items on the menu and always hit the spot after a few drinks. One thing I especially appreciate is how much effort they put into the themed décor during Christmas and Halloween. It really adds personality to the space and makes coming back during the holidays feel fun and memorable every year. Just an overall great neighborhood bar with good vibes and a lot of character.

One of my stipulations for relocation was to be within walking distance of my beloved Nickel City. Guess what? I am! Less than a five-minute walk. I love this place so much. It's not always about drinking. In fact, quite often I'll do mocktails, water, or soda. It's about community and friendship. The vibe at NC can't fully be expressed in words. It has to be experienced. The staff treat locals and tourists like friends. And, if you're lucky enough, you actually become friends. They're like a family. Same can be said about patrons, whether regulars, sometimers, or tourists, everyone feels the love. Everyone just gets it! They have some of the best cocktails around.
