We were in search of ice cream cake and trying out something new. So we came to DQ to pick up an ice cream cake for our niece. They had an assortment of cakes inside already premade which is nice. It's very small in there so I think it's more of a to-go spot. Parking is also pretty sparse, but I think not many people come here. We got to the counter and they were friendly. Waited in the drive thru for over 30 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous and terrible business.

The inside is soooo small! There are two small tables inside and then 2-3 tables outside. The place was such a mess inside too. The tables were messy and there was trash on the floors. Once you order, the kitchen is a mess as well with food all over, making this dining experience, a bit concerning. However, the food order was made correctly and fairly promptly. The chicken tenders tasted great but the fries were not so good. The fries were not crispy and were soft. We also ordered Blizzards and they were fantastic! I ordered a custom cake for Valentine's Day. When I went to pick up the cake it had someone's else's picture on it. A very nice employee named Bob, made a new cake and gave me a discount. Sadly Bob seemed to be the only competent person working there. The other workers were fighting with each other in front of me and generally acted unprofessional. Kinda bummed on this one, I ordered the Heath Caramel Brownie Cupfection for me and a cherry-dipped vanilla cone for my girlfriend. When we got to the window the cashier handed my girlfriend her cone but then instead of the cupfection he passed us what was clearly just a small cup of chocolate soft-serve. I stopped him and said "wait, this is the Heath Caramel Brownie Cupfection?" He said "What?" And I repeated "Caramel Brownie Cupfection?" He picked it up, stared at it for a second, and then said "yeah." And handed it back to us. I was feeling a bit defeated and just said "okay" and we left. I've worked in the service industry and can understand how a stressful workday can get a service worker pretty scrambled, so I don't want to be too harsh about this, but at the end of the day I ended up paying extra for a regular ice cream in a flavor I don't even like. Gross I'm not even eating the food I ordered here. They continually used a very very filthy rag which I took a picture of. There's old food all over the counter & all over the floor. There is sticky unidentified stuff on the napkin display. Add to my injury they had only one straw and it was broke. This place is just disgusting! Best part of the visit the cook dropped our fish sandwich on the floor picked it up and handed it to us!! After she picked it up from the floor we realized none of them were wearing gloves or hair nets. Normally we would've made them cook it again but I don't think it would get any better. My loves cheese curds. Everything was good. Coming from Southern Cali, not trying to be bias, but usually i get rude service from where i am from , but its cali, way more fast paced than Montana lol. Zero stars if I could. We were in the drive thru line before the posted closing time. The line moved very slow. We were the last car in line and instead of taking our order, they put up a message to say they were closed. I immediately called and spoke to the manager. I explained that we had just gotten off a plane and had not eaten in nearly 10 hours. The manager was rude and said he didn't see us in line but it was too late they already shut everything down. Today was the second time I have been disappointed by this franchise. I used to work here so I understand how it is. But last time my friend and I came through the drive though the window guy did not flip the blizzard. After I expressed that she should get it for free he argued with me and said it wasn't flip-able (reminder I used to work here) so I flipped it in front of him. And instead of admitting defeat and giving her the discounted treat...he shut the window. This time we came though I ordered a number 6 crispy with no tomato and cheese and add cheese and pickle. There was no one in the parking lot, inside, or in the drive though (someone did pull up after us) anyhow, my sandwich was still wrong and when I called TWICE to complain there was no answer. Do not go to the Bozeman Dairy Queen. I did not receive the 3 burgers I ordered, only 2. The fry baskets are never full, but only halfway full. The fries themselves are never cooked long enough, they are always limp and halfway cooked. The workers do not wear their masks, except under their chins and noses. I ordered the five piece and a blizzard.The blizzard was great,but when I finally pulled over to eat my chicken, I was in shock! Where did the blizzard fillings go? Three times we've taken our kids through the drive through in the last month and three times we've gotten less than a table spoon of stuff mixed in to our blizzards. Last night, my wife had to dig to the bottom to fund one fleck of Reeses. That was a large to share with the kids. I'm bummed, because we grew up going to DQ in WI and loved the service and food at our respective ones. Not the case here. The staff look like they wish they weren't there. Terrible. This is the third time I've gotten a $6.89 chicken strip basket and been ripped off. All of my chicken strips were tiny other than one average sized one. For how much they charge you'd expect better quality. They were literally the size of a AA battery and only a small portion of chicken, mostly just bread. read more
