Ambiance - clean, love that they have a section to sit/enjoy ice cream and the other side for orders Service - speedy, got my dipped cone within 5 min Food - the Cookie Monster dipped cone was so good (dipped layer snapped when you bit it, cookie pieces were crunchy), paired so well with ice cream

I haven't been to a Dairy Queen in ages. It was a pretty warm day so I was not at all suprised by the line. However the line moved quickly and I was able to satisfy my Orange Crème cravings within minutes. A great place to drop in near the park or after a stroll around the neighborhood.

My second visit. Service was excellent. My order was served in 10 seconds. Hard to believe but it's true. It was nice to see families and couples around me enjoying their ice cream on a warm Sunday. I hope this location will offer burgers one day.

This is my favorite DQ in Chicago. It's got that old school vibe of the traditional Dairy Queen's and right in the heart of Southport / Wrigleyville. The staff here are always so friendly and are much quicker than other DQs when delivering your order. I'm usually a plain soft serve vanilla person but went with their confetti dipped cone this trip and it was a welcome addition to the rotation.

Came in for dessert after Tango Sur across the street. There are so many blizzard flavors to try but we ended up getting a dipped cone. Cone tasted as expected - hit the spot for fast food soft serve! Service was kind and quick, lots of seating inside and out.

We ALL know how I feel about the limited number of dairy queens in Chicago, and the limited spread of said dairy queens to the northside and the suburbs, which is to say, none of you know nor care but I'm gonna be mad about it anyways. Hmmph. This one good though: clean, service is lightning fast, lots of seating, fresh delicious soft serve It does it for me tbh

Read review for more info: But found a CIGARETTE BUTT in my blizzard. Never going back.

Remembering the one time I dug up a CIGARETTE BUTT out of my blizzard from this location. Had to have been random because we ordered ahead with no issue. Came back to find this. Received no help from management or corporate. Looks like my initial review was removed. Came back to remind everyone. Sad honestly. I grew up coming to this location. Used to be a great family meeting place.

Ok, it's Dairy Queen. BUT, this DQ has a super hard working staff that really sets it apart, and makes it deserving of a 5 star review. During the summer, I'm here at least once a week or more. The line is always long but the staff is extremely hard working which makes the wait go by super quick! In-door dining is closed, but we always enjoy it outside anyways. The ice cream is classic DQ quality. My favorite blizzard is the royal rock road trip - chocolate custard with peanuts, brownie pieces, and marshmallow filled throughout the center. It's to DIEEEEE for. On this particular visit though, I went with a swirl cone dipped in sprinkles. This is your sign to treat yourself to the perfect summer day treat at Dairy Queen!

I've driven past this Dairy Queen but never stopped in. Welp, today was the day. Walking in it was very clean and everything was tidy. the ambience was great! Service was on point. There was someone at the register waiting to take my order. I was torn between a butterfinger blizzard and banana split. I chose the banana split and glad I did so. Look at it.....picture perfect. And it tasted just as good as it looks.

This DQ is definitely one of the best. Awesome spot, friendly staff, quick service. Not much else to say- just always a good experience. Also a favorite spot of Mayor Lightfoot so don't be surprised if she and her security detail show up randomly.

Give Maddie a raise! She's going places with that kind of customer service spirit!

Great, clean, and friendly spot! Came very close to closing, Maddie and her crew were very accommodating of my late night Oreo Blizzard order. Made my start of summer!! Thanks ladies

It was over 70, an early summer in May, and we were craving soft served ice cream. We both ordered small size and the portion was satisfying. I asked for a cup of water to a staff and they were very friendly even though it was very busy.

So much better than the DQ in Lincoln Park! Small dining room to enjoy your ice cream treat, small patio seating area outside, plus a small parking lot as well. Street parking is generally pretty easy to find. A line builds trailing outside the building at times, but they seem to move through people pretty quickly. Staff does a very nice job.

It's all about balance and moderation when it comes to my meals. I've not been a fan of fake chicken breast because it never tastes right. I'm was really blown away by Skinny Butcher Crazy Crispy Chick'n! These chicken sandwiches really taste like chicken. The breading on the outside is crispy and the sandwich bite is fantastic. I'm truly amazed at how fantastic these plant based chicken sandwiches tasted. We ordered the Original Chick' Sandwich, Buffalo Chick'n Sandwich and the Chick'n Parm Sandwich. All of the sandwiches came on a potato roll. Which is honestly the best roll ever made. It's soft and absorbs all of the flavors. It's the perfect bun for any sandwich. The Original Chick' Sandwich comes with a mayo sauce and pickles. The Buffalo Chick'n Sandwich has a mayo based blue cheese sauce plus pickles. The buffalo sauce is really tasty with just the right amount of kick. This sandwich was definitely my favorite. I truly loved the spicy kick. I thought I was eating a real chicken sandwich. I also needed to try the Chick'n Parm Sandwich. Hey I'm Sicilian! Let's put this place to the rest. It was fried golden brown and topped with marinara sauce, oregano, fresh basil and melted mozzarella, provolone & parmesan cheeses. My Nonna would have thought this was a fresh real chicken breast. I highly recommend all of the plant based sandwiches here. They also have waffle fries! It's been since forever since I had waffle fries. I loved how tasty they were. It reminded me of being a kid. I'm not an expert when it comes to plant based food. I just want my food to taste good and not be filled with chemicals. They advertise that the plants used in this chicken are pea based and not soy based. That seems really important but I'm too lazy to search my web browser for more info. If you know the answer sent me a message. I'd love to know. Yes I'm giving you homeowner to do in my review. It's all about interacting on Yelp. This location is very unique. It is a ghost kitchen located in a Wow Bao on Clark and Diversey. You can order through Grub Hub or Uber Eats for delivery or pickup. I decided to pick it up because I didn't want my chicken sandwiches getting soggy, as they toured all of Chicago on their way to my house. Pick up was super easy. When I walked into Wow Bao I told the guy I was here for my plant based chicken sandwiches. He chuckled and immediately knew who I was. He then asked for a few minutes, as the chef in back finished building them. Plant based food is not a replacement for real meat. It's meant to help feed our planets growing population. If it can lesson the footprint, then I'm all for it. I really don't miss the meat at all, especially when it tastes this good. So if you're looking to go meatless, then this is your place. The sandwiches are solid and I highly recommend you try the Skinny Butcher because his chicken is crazy good.

They had some options on the menu but we both opted for the Vienna Red Hot ("char"). It's a solid dog. The wiener is, perhaps unsurprisingly, the star of the show. It's got a terrific char and an irresistible snap. The flavor is better-than-average, too. The condiments didn't really do much for me, and I found something on there just way, way too salty. (The pickle, maybe?) Anyway, it's a quick, cheap, easy meal. I'd certainly eat it again.

Got the big Chicago style hotdog - cuz who puts ketchup on hotdogs??? It did not disappoint with the pickles, sport peppers, tomatoes and celery salt! I really love their fries as well. It's the perfect combination of hot and crisp and slightly burnt at the tips for that additional flavor. It's already nicely salted so all you need is ketchup! It is a little pricey for fast food as I don't believe they have combo specials available. Everything is a la cart. They do have a nice clean space inside to dine in. Both regular and tall tables are available. I suggest dining in because who wants cold fries??!!

Decor is as you'd think a beef shop in Chicago to be, service is a little more on the cheerful side due to the Greek influence. Prices are on par with dining in the area for quality Chicago. My go to order is the Italian Combo with a gyro platter to snack on the sliced meat and fries. My 2nd fav order is the Big Daddy burger (tsaiziki and bbq on the side) and a Maxwell Street Polish giving you a bit of everything Chicago. Usually places evolve to the changing wants of the neighborhood, but they sell Greek and Italian equally well. They have always done beef tallow, and it's a shame they have to mention it becuase the rest of the world went away from that when they didn't. Great fries, and a good amount per order. I have yet to try the salads, but it's hard to wow people with them when it doesn't say Salad's in the name... The beef is tender (gyro, roast beef, burger), well seasoned, rendered. The breads are toothsome, soft, crunchy, chewy. The sauces and condiments are crunchy, smooth, blended and balanced. The pizza puff is another far less known Chicago staple for the picky eaters, they also have chicken tenders for the kids. All in all it's a 1st rate stop off for all things Beef and all things Chicago.
