this is my second time going to this nail salon. the first time i was going for a fill and to replacee two nails. im not sure who was it that did it but it was horrible job. the nails she replaced looked like hooks and were thick. I had an appt with my regular tech however he called out sick. So i tried it again but this time with Daisy. I was dissapointed literally my nails look like hooks. Worst experience ever! Nails were lifting before I even made it to my car! Asked for square shape and they did coffin! Took two days for an appointment for them to fix! Went here for the first time based on google reviews...I paid $106 for a gel pedicure and full set...I specifically asked Daisy if she could do a French set with pink powder, shape it oval then do the white powder as the tips...I showed her a picture and she said yes...she was in a hurry...mind you my appointment was at 6 o'clock for the pedicure and she asked me if I wanted my nails done also. I said no at first but when I sat down to start my pedicure I started looking at pictures and asked the other girl how much it would cost for a full set and how long would it take, she told me she didn't know then she asked someone and they never answered her for a good 15 minutes. Daisy assured me she can get it done in an hour. As she put the pink powder on the first nail, I asked her if it was too pink because it didn't match the picture and she said no and kept going. Towards the end instead of doing the white powder tips she starts painting them with white gel and I told her that's not what I asked for and she told me that the picture is white gel polish not powder, I don't know how she can tell that from a picture Because it looked too good to be just gel polish. She just kept going and didn't listen, I still tipped them even though I was not happy with the outcome. Also, for some reason the gel on my left big toe is lifting a lot like I can peel it off and I'm sure it's not gonna last long, that has never happened before. If she replies I know she's going to put some generic answer about being in a rush and to come back so she could fix it but to be honest with you I will never go back. I was kind of surprised because all the reviews said that they were very nice and welcoming but I never got that feeling I felt like they were in a rush, impatient and it seemed like they were talking about me because they would speak look at each other look at me and laugh. I work hard for my money and it really is disappointing paying so much and not getting what you asked for and being treated like a inconvenience. read more

I walked into daisy spa this afternoon about 1:30 PM and for the whole half hour I sat there and not one employee acknowledge my presence. Nobody said hello, nobody said can I help you, nobody said do you have an appointment, nobody said I'll be with you in a minute, nobody said nothing, very unprofessional business. I came in for a "walk-in pedi. I have been to the spa about three or four times before and had very good customer service. In reality this review doesn't even deserve one star. Anyway after sitting there for a half hour and feeling unwelcome I l got up and left. Nobody fellowed me out the door. I guess I really was not welcome there. Made an appointment for 2 pm and when I got there, daisy tries to cancel my appointment because she has too many people in her salon getting their nails done. So we finally agree to move my appointment to 3pm and when I come back, I call her to confirm that I'm outside and will be heading in and she tries to cancel again! Saying that she's not in the salon right now due to an emergency and if I wanted, I could get my nails done with someone else but she "recommended" I rescheduled. I decided to do my nails that day and agreed to be seated with someone else and when I walk in the salon, there's daisy sitting in her chair working with a different client. Really disappointed. I had my nails done by Daisy about 2 times while she worked at Diva and loved her work. When I saw on IG that she had opened her own shop I was pretty excited. The first time I went, this girl named Moon I believe did my nails and did a HORRIBLE job. While I was at the counter about to pay Daisy saw my nails and sort of fixed them. I was still very disappointed so I went the next day to get them fixed. They literally removed all the nails and did a brand new set and didn't have to pay anything (which is fair and even the lady that fixed them said they were horrible). After that I decided to ONLY have Daisy do my nails. She did an ombre french which looked good but were FLAT. I don't know if people actually like flat nails or what because literally every set they do is FLAT. I'm guessing they try to use as minimal product as possible. Also booking an appointment is pointless. You always have to wait like an hour past your appointment because Daisy always books 2 people at the same time and is always rushing so I feel like her work doesn't look good anymore. Anyways this last set was it for me. I didn't not leave there satisfied. My nails AGAIN are super flat with no type of dimension at all. It looks tacky and I am very disappointed. The only thing I like is the color. If I were to like flat nails I'd get a gel mani instof a full set. Will not be coming back. Why is it SO hard to find a good nail salon?! read more

Will definitely not be coming back. Came in as a walk in & it wasn't to busy asked for a soak off & a pedi. Got my pedi done then they were ready for me to leave that's when I told them I also asked for a soak off. They start doibg my soak off then 10 mins later they are trying to add a extra service to someone who just wanted a pedi & she told them I need to leave in 30 mins. so they told her yea we can do it so they use the person doing my soak off to do her mani. I'm waiting over 20 mins soaking my nails while I tell them how much longer sonce I have to pick up my kids from school soon. They tell me your not ready yet which I've done soak off before & it doesn't take this long. So I ask if they can take it off so I can leave so they wipe it off & left it looking so horrible. If I could give this place a 0 I definitely would. I decided to give this new business a try since it is literally across the street from my house. WORST mistake I have ever made!! I have been getting my nails done for years same girl I get gel nails/fills & for years never had a nail break or had new nails replaced. Well not only did this start happening within 2 weeks not just 1 bail but 2 n 3rd is starting to break. Apparently they want to put minimal acrylic as possible, oh & did I mention I paid $83 plus tip (which I don't care what I pay but I do if they digress do a good job) . Here's my receipt . I'm so upset I usually get my fills & toes done 5 weeks but exactly less then 3 weeks later I'm having to schedule another appointment I haven't done them sooner cuz I haven't had a chance.Broke but 3 !! Really!! & don't know how many more will break till next Saturday when I have appointment. in years I have never had nails break,, NEVER again will I visit this place. I usually don't do reviews unless something really bad happened. Now I don't know about you guys but I know most people work very hard for their money and I don't like people trying to get over on the prices especially when the work is not that good. On their website it says that the waxing is $46 they tried to charge me 56. Minded you they had a really bad technique for waxing, left patches on my legs, basically you can tell that they didn't know what they were doing. Especially when she said that the reason why they were charging me extra was because the hair on my legs were too long. Now if you know anything about waxing, you want the hair to be long that way you can pick it up, get a cleaner, more smoother wax. The pedicure was decent that's the only reason why I gave them two stars other than that I would have given them zero because of the fact that they tried to overcharge me which I think is extremely rude to your customers especially when it's their first time visiting your establishment. And for having me walk out with my legs in worse conditions then when I walked in. If you can't wax just say that, but don't try and get extra money out of people when you don't know what you're doing. Left heat bumps all over my legs with patches. If you're going to get waxed just go to a professional I should have waited I didn't because I had something to do the next day, other than that I usually do go to a professional that's why I knew they didn't know what they were doing. I definitely will not be going back because of that first bad experience. read more
