    Roast pork bahmi

Right now, this place is my favorite place for a banh mi sandwich. It is located next to the Tous les Jours bakery on Rainbow Blvd and you can't see inside it because they have the darkest window tint on their windows. But once you open the door, you'll see that this is a take out place with only one table, mostly for people waiting for their order. The banh mi are all made to order and so far, I've only tried the grilled pork and the crispy pork/grilled pork combo. I was afraid that the sandwich would be soggy by the time I took it home, but to my surprise, oh my goodness, the sandwich was amazing! The bread was still crispy on the outside, the meat still hot and the veggies were still crisp. The only thing that was missing was the pickled carrots/daikon. I don't think they use it here. Overall, the price point is GREAT, please don't raise the price, the quality is superb and you get a lot of grilled pork in the sandwich.

Interior, one small table. This is a grab and go spot.

Wasn't sure what to expect since most banh mi spots here have been underwhelming, but I'll definitely be back. The special/dac biet is solid. The bread has a crunch, not too much bread. The ratio of meat is perfect, I don't feel cheated. The right amount of pate. I'm curious about their crispy pork now. This is a grab and go spot. There was only one table. Maybe they'll add more?

Was craving banh mi and luckily this spot is not too far from my house so I decided to give it a try. I hadn't noticed it before, so I'm assuming it hasn't been open very long? I ordered the Saigon Special (cold cuts). The sandwich is a generous size (in comparison to Lee's). The bread tasted fresh and was nice and crispy. The pate is very flavorful. I also ordered an iced Vietnamese coffee. It kinda tastes more on the mocha side but still tasty. When I left my house, I was thinking I was going to be eating there; however, there was one table for dining in and it was in use. The restaurant is very small, but I think having two more tables would be beneficial for people wanting to eat there. Overall, I'll definitely be back for more sandwiches when the cravings come back.

Checked out Bahn Mi House with the spouse.....as we were excited to have a bahn mi spot open in the SW! Here's what we got: 1. Crispy Pork and House Special Bahn Mis - The bread is crispy and good, and they are filled pretty well! The crispy pork itself was delicious!! For both bahn mis, more pâté and mayonnaise would be nice. I found the bahn mis to be a little on the dry side. 2. Steamed egg and pork bun - Just okay. Comes out piping hot but I would have liked the option for them to either heat it up when we order it, or, for to-go orders as ours, letting us take home the bun and heat it at home instead of having it stay heated in the glass display case with the plastic wrap around it. 3. Chicken pâté chaud - This is what you gotta order when you are craving something that is greasy!!! The oils seeped through the paper bag it was in and the overly oiled/buttered pâté chaud was not that crispy as a result. One bite of the crust was enough for me as I wasn't in the mood for greasy goodness today. The lady at the counter was very nice and polite! Hoping Bahn Mi House becomes a permanent house in the shopping center and does well!!

I had to try this new bahn mi spot since it was close to home. I got the Saigon special and the grilled pork. The veggies I noticed wasn't as pickled. The bread was hella crunchy. The Saigon special was missing pate I wish they added more I can barely taste it. The grilled pork meat was kinda cold which I don't like. The place was small maybe 2 tables to sit down so just a heads up. No restrooms for customers. They also have Vietnamese bowls made to order. They had fresh spring rolls and some bao for sale but didn't try it. Fast service.

Got a chance to try out this place this weekend. Picked up 2 bbq pork banh mi sandwiches and brought them home to enjoy. Just like the previous comments, the bread is nicely flaky and soft. Much better than Lee's sandwiches bread, which tends to always scratch the roof of my mouth. The daikon and carrots were mild in pickling taste, and their mayo and pate spread were on the mild side. I am not a fan of pate but took a bite of my husband's sandwich since his had it. We always add hoisen sauce and Sriracha to our sandwiches, even with the jalapeños already inside. Overall the sandwich texture was great, meat was good but their toppings/ spreads could be a bit more bolder in flavor. Their Vietnamese coffee was strong ,like all other Vietnamese coffees, but was good. Service was quick and the inside of the business was very spacious and modern.

I've been in here 3 times in the last week. Delicious and fresh sandwiches made to order. Im addicted. Hot pastries in one of the display case. Tried them all. All tasty. Service is always with a smile. Place is mostly take out with one table. Always clean.

Banh Mi was great! Grilled pork and Crispy Pork both tasted great and what is expected to be in a Banh Mi. Highly recommend trying it out. Very small business, 1 table inside and barely a waiting area. Since they had just opened up prepare to wait 20-30 Min for your order. Viet Ice Coffee.. I would definitely skip. If you had better you know better. It was okay, very Milky and was not strong at all. Overall experience was Okay, We definitely will be back for their Banh Mi.

We finally have banh mi in the SW (besides Lees)! Banh Mi house is located next to Tous Les Jour on Rainbow. It's a small shop with a couple of tables. They are SO nice there and I love that they have a crispy pork belly sandwich option. Sandwiches are a little more expensive but the bread and ingredients are fresh. We got a crispy pork and a Saigon special (Dac biet). I've eaten a lot of Banh Mi and in comparison to others, I'd say the sandwiches were a bit mild in flavor. I think it's great for those who want an introduction to Banh mi but I definitely ended up adding some sriracha and maggi when I got home. Overall, for the convenience and for how kind the team was there, I'll probably give this place another chance.

Banh Mi house has finally opened! Located in the same plaza as Tous le Jours on the corner of Rainbow and Windmill, they took over the old acai bowl place. Today was their first opening day and they have a promo for their banh mi: buy 2, get 1 free! I got to banh mi house at around 8:25am and was able to order right away. I decided to get three of their saigon special, which is essentially the combination or dac biet. The banh mi had the usual cold cuts with mayo, pate, pork floss, jalapeno, cilantro, and the pickled carrot/daikon. They also had banh bao for sale so I decided to grab one of those to try. There were two people waiting for their banh mi that were ahead of me so it took about 20 minutes for me to get my order. There were about 3 people constantly making the banh mi and a 4th as a cashier that helped pack/prep drinks. First I wanna say that their bread is really good. It was soft with a crunch -- it was super fresh! It had that nice baguette chew to it. It was actually my favorite part of the banh mi. Overall, though, it was decent. There were a good amount of ingredients and the flavors meshed well enough. The banh mi itself was a good size! The pork floss seems out of place and the pate had more of the metallic flavor than what I'm used to. The biggest bummer was that it was missing that soy umaminess that I enjoy to but I could always drizzle that on my own when I get home. The banh bao was just ok to me. The bao itself was a bit hardened at the bottom, which was odd. Maybe it sat there for too long? The meat filling was really firm compared to other banh baos that I've had. Flavor wise, though, it's the same as what I'm used to. I actually told all of my friends about this place today after I went because we were all excited about having a banh mi place in the SW! However, they were out of banh mi by 11am...... in three hours!! That's crazy! They were definitely not prepared! So many of my friends were disappointed. Good thing is that they will continue to have the promo for now. Overall, decent and convenient. I wouldn't mind coming back if I'm too lazy to drive out to Chinatown or if I want to just buy a baguette its own!

Saigon Special.. the pork floss is a nice touch

Great to have another option besides Lee's for takeout Banh Mi. Currently seems to only be open until early afternoon, so this isn't a dinner option! This is a purely take out joint even for breakfast as they open at 8am. The service is friendly enough, but it's takeout.. so don't expect them to get to know your life story. Got the Saigon Special and the BBQ Pork (think Char Sui) Bahn Mi and both were delicious. The bread is great! Crispy and chewy in all the right ways. A little wider than you get at Lee's, more like the ones at Carrot & Daikon. I agree with others on here that I would like the pickeld veg to be a little more pickled in flavour, and I'm a big pate fan and felt these sandwiches needed a little more pate or mayo to make it a bit more moist. That said, being on the west side of town, this is a great addition to the area. Now I've not gone to sit down pho places and tried their banh mi, but this is my fave for the southwest valley. Going to be very interested to see what else they will offer when they're fully ramped up.. hoping for salad rolls!

When I heard a new banh mi spot opened up, I had to rush my way to try it out. I'm so glad I did! I heard there are long lines, but I came around 10am and it wasn't that busy. I opted for the Saigon special and it was delicious. You can definitely tell that the bread is baked fresh and it had a nice bite to it. The fillings were on point. Overall the banh mi was good and I'll be coming back. I look forward to trying the other banh mi options they had and coffee.

We got there at 8am, right when they opened, just in case there would be a line or if they sold out of certain items. I've been on a mission to find the best banh mi in Las Vegas, and since I heard they bake their bread in-house, I'm super excited to check it out! Unfortunately, their Vietnamese coffee and beef stew weren't available yet -- the staff said coffee would be ready the next day and the beef stew maybe next week. It feels like they're still in a soft opening phase. Honestly, instead of having a bunch of items unavailable, I wish they'd just simplify the menu for now so it doesn't look like half the items are out. We ordered the Chicken, Saigon and Pork banh mi. All $8 each. The bread was perfectly toasted. Crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. I'm normally a Vietnamese deli meat kinda gal, but their Chicken and Pork banh mi were both meaty, juicy and delicious. Their Saigon was lacking something, I just couldn't figure out what. I'll definitely come back once their full menu is ready. If the rest of their food is as good as those sandwiches, it'll be worth the wait.

When you live only 10-15 minutes from Little Saigon, getting amazing Vietnamese food is almost too easy. That's one of the reasons I love Vegas though. Not only do they have Chinatown, but it has really grown into more of a "Little Asia" with so many different cuisines and restaurant options to choose from. I stopped into Viet Noodle Bar after seeing a few recommendations, especially for their Bò Lúc Lắc, also known as Shaken Beef. It's a Vietnamese dish made with marinated, cubed beef stir-fried in a hot wok with onions, named after the "shaking" motion used to cook the meat. It's easily one of my favorite rice dishes, so I had to try it. I started with the crispy egg rolls, and those were amazing. They were wrapped perfectly, crispy, flavorful, and delicious. Unfortunately, the main course was a bit of a letdown. The waiter mentioned filet when he brought it to the table, but it definitely didn't taste or feel like filet to me. The beef was tough and overcooked, which was disappointing because Bò Lúc Lắc is one of those dishes I really look forward to when it's done right. The flavors were there, so I wouldn't write the place off completely. I'd come back and try some of their other dishes, but I probably wouldn't order the Bò Lúc Lắc again. It just wasn't the version I remembered or was hoping for. Overall, the egg rolls were great, the service was fine, and the flavors had potential, but the dish I came in for missed the mark.

The last time I was here I got the bun rieu and it was ok, not my favorite version of the dish. I'd stick to the pho which feels like a safer choice here and more in line with what they do best. The space itself is spacious and casual. Back in the day, I would have considered this a solid 'cheap eats' option, but that's no longer the case. Like everywhere else in Vegas, prices feel high for what you get. That said, service was good, the staff was efficient, and the food came out quickly. Overall, it's a reliable choice for quality Vietnamese food that I'll keep in my rotation.
