They serve Cold Apps, Hot Apps, Entrees, Salads, Pasta, Sandwiches, Shawarma, Vegetarian Dishes, Kabobs, Desserts and they also do a Family Style Menu if you Group Dine in a private room. You may have to reserve that room. I would call first for that option. They have been serving Turkish and Kurdish Cuisine for over 20 years, so they know what they're doing. They are located about 13 minutes out of Nashville down Nolensville Road close to the Nashville Zoo. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. To finish the review I will say they aslo cater and there is plenty of free parking. Enjoy!

The lamb pieces were also grilled good, not as juicy as the chicken but not dry either. My only complaint is the seasoning. The meat is lightly seasoned. The rest of the sides like the onions, picked cabbage, and grilled veggies were okay. Everything on the plate was on the lightly seasoned side, so nothing is too over powering in flavor or taste. There's a nice ambience inside, well decorated. The servers are extremely kind. There's plenty of parking out front in a large lot shared with other stores in the plaza.

The waitress was lack luster in personality, we sat down asked for hummus and the young guy with long hair on staff said they didn't have change for a $20 so a 7.99 hummus turned into a 20 dollar bill when he never brought back the $5 my friend said just to bring back as a tip. Then my mom's hummus lamb plate had a clump of hair in the hummus. The staff, "would you like us to remake it or a refund" no I'm sorry not anything to remedy the situation. Between the 5 of us with to go plates was nearly $130 ish. I'm so disappointed and know the owner would be upset with how his staff handled this. My chicken saaj bowl also was lack luster in flavor, I go to another Mediterranean place locally that is way way way more flavor. Hope the owner has a talk with his team about back of the kitchen etiquette so there isn't food in other people's food.

The restaurant is well established and doesn't rely on frills and gimmicks to attract their clientele. Lots of brown and neutrals dominate the aesthetic - cultural decor and an occasional tv can be spotted along the walls. All the kebabs are well seasoned and full of flavor. The meat is both crispy and juicy. The complimentary pita is served warm and is pillowy soft. Some of my favorite hidden gems on this menu are on the appetizer list. Don't skip over the chefs appetizer with creamy cheese, olives, herbs and ground walnuts! I also love the light but flavorful white bean soup with tomato broth and generous chunks of chicken.

They maintain an impressively enormous menu with just about every style of kabob on the planet! They also serve lamb shanks, gyros, and falafel among other options. The lamb is extraordinarily tender and pretty tasty, although the flavor isn't nearly as good as the best I've eaten in the Middle East. But I have unfairly high standards as a world traveler. The beef dishes are very good too, but again, not the best I've had. The service is fantastic with welcoming employees who make you feel right at home. House of Kabob is a worthy stop if you love Persian cuisine.

I stopped in looking for authentic Egyptian food instead of the typical Americanized "Mediterranean…read moregrill" experience, and this place genuinely stood out. The Alexandrian liver was the highlight of the meal. I've had liver before in traditional American-style dishes, and this was completely different. The flavor was spicy, layered, rich, and deeply savory with a lot of complexity from the seasoning. Most importantly, there was absolutely none of the metallic taste that usually comes with liver, which tells me the kitchen really knows how to prepare it properly. The bread was warmed rather than toasted, and while I personally prefer a little less bread so the flavor of the meat comes through even stronger, the bread had absorbed the juices and spices well and gave it a very authentic street-food feel. The kofta platter was also excellent and clearly not generic gyro-shop food. The seasoning profile was warmer, smokier, and more spice-forward, and the tahini paired really well with the grilled meat and rice. I also tried the Om Ali dessert, which tasted rich, homemade, and authentic. The cream, butter, coconut, and almonds gave it a rustic comfort-food quality that felt much more traditional than a polished American dessert. Overall, this restaurant feels like a real Egyptian kitchen preserving its identity instead of watering everything down for mass appeal. The Alexandrian liver alone is worth coming back for

They brought us water and warm flatbread with labneh. It was a great way to start the evening. Our server recommended the lamb dumplings and the chicken kabob. We ordered that plus the Uzbek bread and a lamb sambosa. The sambosa was delicious; flaky dough and minced well spiced lamb. The chicken kabob was delectable; tender, well spiced, and served with sumac onions and other accompaniments. The lamb dumplings (think big manti or momos) were fantastic; again, well spiced lamb and tender dough, served with a really lovely yogurt sauce. Service was fast and friendly. We paid about $80 Inc tip for this feast. Highly recommended; give Uzbek food a try!

There is a secret however, that few would ever reveal: Nashville has some seriously solid authentic Uzbek food. As the city is home to the largest Kurdish population in America, the foundation of community attracted not only Kurds, but also Uzbeks from larger American cities. Osh is one such outpost for an excellent and authentic meal. Shurpa soup is spectacular with delicate lamb and fatty broth. Manti are ok, although the lamb filling is a bit on the dry side. Somsa is incredible and flaky. Medovik is subpar, synthetic tasting and dry. While not every dish was the highlight of culinary mastery, as a whole, the meal was very satisfying. The kind people working here make the establishment amazing, attentive and kind to give great suggestions. So, for something authentic and tasty, make a trip to this random strip mall and enjoy a family restaurant that adds a cool character to Nashville's community.

This was one of our first stops. What a fun unassuming place. Walking in on a Saturday about 11 am there was a line in front, a line at the butcher and a line at the bakery. We oogled the aisles at the assortment of offerings and their very good prices. My son then started complaining about being hungry so we decided to return later. As I was leaving we said goodbye to the cashier. He asked if anything was wrong. I replied, no just have to feed my son. He nodded and we were off. 1/2 hour later we were back. This time no line. I asked about the lines. He stated it is normal but it does go fast. I can witness to that. I bought some bread and some sambusas (sp). 1 chicken, had a nice spice but the vegetable blew me away!!! So incredibly tasting I did not feel guilty it being a deep fried pie. We talked to the cashier about the bread. He asked if I went back to the bakery to see what was the freshest. I said I will be right back. I was and bought a few more packages. AMAZING and OMGosh, what a treat watching the bakers make the bread. Makes one wonder how far we have come to want to go back and see how much better authentic bread should and is still made. Should add, but I don't want to, they have a breakfast pizza with sausage in the am and it is limited. Oy...If you see me, get out of my way, I am not above cutting in line and paying you for it. Prices are very good, no dust, no questions on prices, everything clearly marked, (my pet peeve). How do you buy something not knowing the price? Chatted again with cashier about the store and our purchases. Really enjoyed our quick 2 trips in same day within 30 minutes of each other. Will be back for the amazing bread AND Vegetable Sambusas and sweet cashier. See pics of bread. HUGE bread - good for almost anything also made quick pizza for the kids who loved it. Soft yet had a nice chew to it a few days later. Stayed Fresh! I am in Carb heaven with the bakery and the cashier made the experience great too!
