My favorites were the muhammara, which was the richest version of this dip that I've ever had and the baklava. Regarding the dip, I wonder if they char the bell peppers to the extreme. Yum! The baklava was perfection even though they were only bite sized morsels. I definitely could do without either of the other dishes. Falafels had an off taste and the halloumi didn't have the crisp exterior I enjoy. Was the baklava overpriced ($7)? I'll let you be the judge. It was tasty. But working with them directly helps them earn more than when it's through one of the delivery sites). I've always liked Kamdesh, sometimes during a busy lunch rush I've had to wait a little bit, but I felt like getting them a shot. I worked out a menu for a buffet lunch with different items and they delivered to my office in downtown. We had folks with dietary restrictions, and the person I talked to was able to walk me through some options. There were able to work within my price range per person and I could choose different items like kebabs, borani, etc. and they included cooked veggies, saffron rice and salad. It probably ended up being too much food but that's a good problem to have. Everyone enjoyed the meal, and we had leftovers in the fridge for a couple days.

The staff were super attentive, friendly, and helpful. They were willing to accommodate the fact that we were in a bit of a rush and met our requests quickly and efficiently. The interior was curated well, bright, and airy, with views into the kitchen from across the restaurant. We started by ordering delightful, cocktails, and the trio of dips, which were very tasty. When we asked for extra pita bread on the side, the waiter provided us their wood fired flower bread on the house, which proved to be a highlight of the meal. The soft interior of the bread contrasted excellently with the crunchier exterior. I won't forget that bread anytime soon. The dips themselves were excellent, though the muhammara was a stand out. The crispy shrimp appetizer was great, providing an uncomplicated but fun bite which allowed the soft shrimp to work well with the crunchy exterior and sweet sauce. The shish kebab was praised by the birthday girl for its seasoning and consistency. For the main entree, we got the bronzino, which came with sardine rice, mustard, and some delightful greens, which were another standout on the meal. While the price is high for the Bronzino entree given how much fish was served, we did feel that the quality of execution balanced out the price point. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and, believe that it's worth going out for if they are in a different neighborhood and want a delightful Turkish meal.

It has more of a salsa style taste which sounds a little odd but actually works really well. It has flavor without being too spicy, though I do like my food extra spicy. The rice here is also worth mentioning because it is so flavorful and has that umami taste that makes you want to keep eating it. The owner is always very friendly and welcoming too. The restaurant is right next to Target which makes parking really easy. Highly recommend this spot. I will definitely be back and next time I'll probably branch out and try something new.

That's the nice thing about taking food home to eat because you can doctor it. Overall, we enjoyed the food. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back but will definitely visit when in the area. This is a busy area and can be difficult to find parking.
