See below for details... They are also a DMV STAR smog facility and are more than fairly priced! When they went to connect my 2004 Sprinter van to be smogged, my old jalopy wouldn't start!! So my huge van was sitting in their way to get other customer work done...but they NEVER got mad nor impatient with me. They were nothing but kind, professional and knowledgeable ... they went above and beyond!! They worked after closing to solve my Sprinter problem and get me on my way!! And they didn't charge me any extra from the original quote which was simply for the SMOG test. Nevertheless, because they were so kind and unbelievable, I wanted to pay them more but the owner wouldn't allow it...He said, " I never take advantage of women." I will never go any place else!! I wanted to pay he but he would not hear of it, he just wanted me to tell my friends of their service. Great local and neighborhood shop that I will support when I have an issue.

I'm not interested in pennypinching at Jiffy Lube or some other discount place when I can take some time to drive down to San Clemente and pay a fair price to get outstanding service. My 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE simply needed new tires but Haik went above and beyond and did extensive diagnostics on the car finding a couple of issues that he suggested I take to the dealer as it's still under warranty. Other shops may have done that to make a little extra money, but this shop's owner is so ethical that he went through to look for issues before they become a problem and they would be at no cost as they are under warranty at the dealership. Easily the most inefficient and unprofessional business I've been to…read more There's no room to drive back there, so I sat stuck behind other cars for over 10 minutes waiting for someone to move. When I finally pulled up, the mechanic looked genuinely confused about why I was there and immediately told me to back up with a scowl. I asked for clarification and he just shook his head. Then he said, "I'm busy, I don't have time for this." Nobody wants to do smog tests, but acting like customers are an inconvenience is wild especially when there are plenty of other shops nearby. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else.

The oil change business noticed something was leaking underneath my Lexus. I had popped into the dealership later that day for them to review it only to be presented with an exorbitant costly repair. I tried to reach our usual mechanic who is Bob's up the street. He apparently had an accident and was unavailable at his location. Several people recommended Jay's and I was extremely grateful that he was able to take me with short notice and diagnose the problem. I was traveling out of state that week and preferred to use my own car. Dominic was able to squeeze me in. He and his technician stayed later that day to make sure that my repair was completed on time so I was able to take the car the next day. Very reasonably priced. Exceeded my expectations.
