My hair is also pretty dry and porous, and the difference afterward is incredible - SO smooth, shiny, sleek, and easy to manage. I also have curly hair and wanted it straight, and even after swimming in the ocean and multiple hair washes, it is still perfectly straight and sleek - with no product and just air drying (didn't even know that was possible!). Yanai cut my hair afterward and did a beautiful job as well. He took off exactly what needed to come off while still keeping the length I wanted.
