We went to Dan's place after we discovered a local favorite is no longer open for dinner. I really like the ambiance of the place. The dining room is big and open with a bar on one side. A Harley mounted above the bar add to the motif. I need to say I saw one review comment on the cleanliness of the place and the state of the menus. I felt the place was clean and our dishwater was chip free. The menus were a bit beat up but a this ain't fine dining and they were clean! Missy was our server and she was the best! She took care of us and was genuinely friendly. We had a spill at our table (our fault) and the staff swooped in to clean it up and replace the spilled item. The food was very good. I forgot to take a picture of the meals (except what was left of my calzone) but it was very good and reasonably priced. It was a solid meal.

It had been a while since I've visited Dan's! My youngest son and I decided to pop in on a busy Friday night. The wait was about 40 minutes, but we didn't mind terribly. In the lobby was a lovely man named Rob making balloon animals for gaggles of giggling children. We were seated after about 25 minutes, to our delight! Since my last visit, I've become gluten intolerant, and let me tell you! The options for people with food allergies were astounding! I got an amazing pizza, which was delicious. My son had a burger that magically disappeared from his plate (LOL) . Our server was warm, friendly, and quick to help us.

My son was in a wrestling tournament nearby. We went after the tournament to celebrate his win. I had two of his teammates. It was a Saturday night and they have a big parking lot but we were lucky to get spot right by the door. The wait was 30 minutes and they have buzzers. They have a balloon guy in the waiting area. My teenager and friends enjoyed getting one and he was very good. We got seated faster than time told after about 20 minutes. We got the fried pickles which were good a little salty. Our meals were delicious I had their pulled off sandwich, another got the meat combo, and some of the grinders. All enjoyed meal. There was also a guy who came around tables doing magic and was very good. Our server was amazing very attentive. We got three of their desserts and all were delicious. The seating is great there is a bar area and other sections with booths. We were in the booth section which was perfect. Really enjoyed going here.

It's so hard to find gluten free pizza that's worth it. Well, this place nailed it!!! Perfect crispy texture with a flavorful sauce and a variety of toppings. Our bartender happened to be sensitive to gluten as well, and she raved about the pizza! I ordered a spinach pie that cooked and seasoned perfectly. Their drinks were on point too! The layout of this busy restaurant includes long tables in the front section that lends itself to a suitable space for a large gathering. We will definitely be back!

Good pub food. Large menu to choose from. Fried clams on Fridays are very good. Potatoe broccoli skins and wings are also good.

The food is alright, but the owners politics are not. I prefer to support Arcadia Pizza next door instead of Dan's Place.

With a friend's band on their entertainment schedule, I found the perfect opportunity to try it out. I was looking forward to both the music and the food and while the music was amazing, my overall experience didn't quite live up to expectations. Pro: - My friends and I were able to reserve a table ahead of time, which helped secure space to enjoy the show. We had an up close and personal view, and it definitely made for an immersive experience. Cons: - The space is way too small for live bands. The band was squeezed into a corner, and the closest table was practically on top of the lead singer. The small space in front of the band may have been meant for dancing, but it blocked the path to the bathrooms and food service. It felt cramped, loud, and uncomfortable. - The pub-height tables had tall chairs that were wobbly and unstable. I'm not a big person, but even I felt like I might tip over sitting there. Plus, the layout was so tight that we all had to get up every time someone wanted to wiggle their way to the bar or the bathroom. - Our waitress disappeared for long stretches of time, and service was painfully slow. We ended up having to go up to the bar for refills between courses because no one was around to help. - The food was disappointing. I ordered the house-made tavern chips (which look like potato chips on the website) but got plain tortilla chips instead. I also had two hot weiners, and while they had all the right toppings, the flavor was all wrong. The meat sauce tasted burnt, and they were completely overloaded with celery salt. It was honestly the worst I've ever had. Others at the table felt underwhelmed with their selections as well - the quesadilla was soggy and the appetizer sampler was just okay. - The bathroom locks were unreliable. The lock on the door failed halfway through my visit, and it took several attempts to get the button to work again, which made for a pretty awkward experience. Given this visit, I'm unlikely to return. If I do, it'd have to be for a great band, and I'll definitely eat somewhere else beforehand.

We came in and sat at the bar and no one said anything to us about going to the counter to order. The two girls working didn't have the common sense or social skills to say "hi, oh go ahead and place your order at the counter" they just watched us sit here for a good ten minutes. So we order, spend $30 on drinks and food. We go sit down and my friend asks for a cup of water and the girl comes over and says "that'll be $.80" Uhhh okay? So my friend gets out her card and pays for the water. Like I said. Everytime I have been back the people get less friendly and weirder. I don't think I'll be back. Longshore for life.

Breakfast sandwich was good but the bagel was a more doughy texture than I prefer. The sandwich though had double egg and cheese, so very hearty. Coffee was good but would request less ice in the future (my cup was probably 3/4 ice so had to nurse it if I didn't want to drink all the coffee after a few sips).

Staff were friendly in the sense of giving service to ones neighbor, as it feels like the high end local spot. Food was definitely creative. Listed as "new American" but had a strong showing of Asian fusion. Food was good but can be considered salty for some. The smoked pork noodles was heavy and had a high level of spice in part of the dish, would recommend to mix it well to evenly distribute. The eclipse had a lot going on, with some ingredients getting lost in the shuffle, but did overall enjoy it.
