So we finally got around to trying out the Yard House in Vegas and it didn't disappoint. We visited here for HH and wow - what an amazing and unexected experience. We opted for the pretzel and fish and chips . All of the food was incredibly good, well presented and a very good value. They use Pollock for the fish and the pretzel was gigantic. It's served with spicy mustard and the cheese sauce. I wasn't a fan of the cheese sauce. The ambiance in the restaurant was great, service was quick and friendly and the overall cost was also very good. By the time we had finished our meal, there was a line out front so get there early if you're going for happy hour. This is also a great place to watch the World Cup soccer games read more

My wife had a salad that she didn't like and the son and daughter n law seemed to like their food but didn't eat it all. Stopped by here after a concert to grab a bite to eat. I have never been to this location. It was almost empty inside, minus a few people. We sat at the bar. The bar staff were friendly but the bar tender was either way out of it, tired or something. I asked for a sweet tea 3 times before she finally brought it. It took about 30 min to get it. When she finally brought it it was unsweetened. The chicken wings with whiskey pepper were alright, they were some of the biggest wings I think i'd seen from a restaurant but it was mostly fat. The breading wasnt that great either. The sauce was good. The french fries were amazing! My friend got poke nachos, even though I'm not a huge fan of poke the flavor was really good. Have not been to this location in a long time. Got here around 4pm which was perfect timing for a Saturday night because as it got later, the crowds came in. Jolie B was our server and she was AWESOME!! She is a server for others to emulate. Jolie could train other servers how to do a job with pride. Our drinks were never empty, she checked on us often and I watched her provide the same service to every table. She always had a smile on her face and was always friendly. We started with the Wisconsin Cheese Curds and the Jumbo Bavarian Pretzel. The Cheese Curds were some of the best we have had, the batter was a perfect proportion to the cheese and the taste was really good. The pretzel, one of the better ones as well. I had the Orange Chicken, better than any Chinese place in town. Each piece was battered to perfection meaning the batter was not too thick and it did not overpower the chicken pieces. Every piece of chicken was tender and juicy and the sauce was really good, not too sweet and just the right amount of heat. The Mediterranean Salmon was cooked properly. The Salmon was crusted in za'atar spices and pan seared, served over warm cauliflower rice and red quinoa tabbouleh with kale and tomatoes. We skipped the side of spicy tahini sauce. It was really good. We finished off with the Cheesecake Brûlée with berries and it was awesome. The Cheesecake was not too sweet and the brûlée was a nice touch. Overall it was a great experience. Oh, how I love the Happy Hour menu at Yard House! From the appetizers to drinks, the food is usually pretty consistent and delicious. This restaurant is located right in front of the Red Rock Casino, so it's really easy to find with tons of parking. We usually go during the week when it's not too busy so the wait is either non-existent or minimal at best. We decided to sit at the high-top tables next to the bar which tends to be dimly lit and not too crowded. Our server immediately took down our orders and our drinks came out pretty fast. We decided to go with the Blackened Ahi Sashimi, Poke Nachos, Fried Calamari, Hand-battered Chicken Tenders, and a Margherita Pizza. All of the food came out piping hot, but we didn't receive the tenders until the end of our meal. Our server must've been very busy because once our food was served we didn't see her until we were almost done. We let her know the chicken tenders never came to our table and she stated they must've forgotten or gave them away on accident. We didn't mind because we know things like that happen but the chicken tenders were our least favorite part of the meal. It needed seasoning and just lacked flavor. Pro Tip: For you guys that have experienced the "I don't care, You pick the restaurant." Then you go through a list of choices to find "the One". Just say Ok and go to Yard House. Because its best feature is reliability. The first thing you can rely on is that everyone can find something on the menu for them. There is something for everyone. A good example is the Chicken Enchilada Stack. It's kind of their dressed-up version of comfort Mexican food. This last visit I didn't have anything in mind walking in and saw a Korean BBQ Cheesesteak on the menu. Never heard of such a thing but there I was eating it. I like flavor and that is a flavor bomb. The second thing you can rely on is the quality. I have been the numerous times and the quality is always on point. You get what you are expecting just like you see it on the menu. The Third you can rely on is the service. Service has consistently been good every time I've visited. Food comes out hot and fresh, drinks stay filled, and the staff handles the busy dining room smoothly. And you can rely on the atmosphere. It is what it set out to be. It is that perfect combination of a brew pub, sports bar and restaurant. You choose, dining area, Bar area or outside which is covered and usable even in the Las Vegas summer. At the end of the day, Yard House may not be reinventing dining, but sometimes reliability is underrated. Depending on the mood, these are always the main options when eating here. The poke nachos, assuming you like fish, is definitely a must if you never had them here. The options of beers they have is definitely greater than their food menu. One suggestion is to find a beer that matches your food or vice versa. My wife and myself's go to is a Golden Draak which doesn't really pair perfectly with the food I mentioned but we enjoy the combination either way. We come here often enough that most of the bartenders that recognize us will always get us the same drinks. This place is very spacious as there is a lot of seating inside and outside. Even though the Yard House is labeled as a bar with over 100 draft beers, they have a great cocktail menu, and a great selection of food choices. We started off with the Cheese Curds and a couple cocktails while we decided on a meal. The Cheese Curds are great. Lightly battered and fried, soft melty cheese inside and two different dipping sauces. The Cocktails were Coco Passion and Old 43. The Coco Passion has a similar taste to a Pina Colada with more of a pineapple taste. The Old 43 is a take on an old fassioned, but uses Liqor 43 as the sweetener which goes nicely with bourbon. I must give a shout out to our waitress Desiree. She was so friendly and informative with a couple questions I had. Desiree was really on top of things and checked on us multiple times even though the place seemed busy. One of the recommendations was the Nashville Hot Chicken with Sweet Potatoe Pancakes. I was warned that It was Spicey, and a lot of food. The chicken did not disappoint. Actually, it is probably the best Nashville/Spicey I have ever had. The flavor in the breading was perfect and the chicken was the right juiciness and texture. The sweet Potatoe Pancakes goes so well with this dish to balance the heat and bring a little sweetness. The customer service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff was organized, attentive, and incredibly patient, making sure our entire group was taken care of smoothly without missing a beat. A huge plus was that they were able to separate everyone's orders using the kiosks at the table, which made ordering and billing incredibly easy and stress-free for a group our size. We shared several appetizers, and every single one was a hit. The poke nachos and spicy tuna stack were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The crispy Brussels sprouts were addictive, and the chicken lettuce wraps were a great lighter option while still packed with flavor. For my main entrée, I ordered the Truffle Cheese Burger with truffle fries, and it was truly to die for. In the midst of a very busy Happy Hour, we really had an excellent experience. I hadn't been to Yard House in a long while! To start, they have an online waitlist which is very helpful! If you plan on arriving in a certain window of time, check what the wait is and put yourself on the list before getting there. It will save you a lot of wait time. When I arrived, I waited only a few minutes and my table was ready. Upon sitting down, our server greeted us quickly and got drink orders in. What's really nice is the kiosk ordering system which allows you to get your apps without needing to flag your server down. As mentioned, Happy Hour is busy and you no longer need to sweat finding your server to get the order in before the time is over. I ordered quite a bit of Happy Hour apps and was so surprised at how fast the food came out. For real - super impressed! Here's the breakdown: Margherita Pizza - while very tasty, the tomatoes used are halved cherry/grape tomatoes so it's a little top heavy due to that. Prepare that they may roll off the slice! Carnivore Pizza - great crust and usually I don't get pizzas with a lot of toppings but this meat combo was delicious! Sliders - great portion for HH! It's full size! It comes with fries. I'm not a special sauce person ever - so if you aren't either - make sure you tell them. Chicken Lettuce Wraps - I've always loved this app over the years. It's even better now, the chunks of chicken are big! Boneless Wings - A generous portion of boneless and it had plenty of Buffalo Sauce on them. Solid app! We got a sampler which had 6 popular beers. My wife and I split that then ordered a 16 oz beer. The food was awesome as well. I had the Poke salad. Healthy and very fresh and delicious. Last night, my fiancé and I went out to dinner here to use a Yard House gift card. From experience, we decided to join the waitlist online since last time we came here there was a long wait. We were happy that there was a waitlist option. So, I hopped on the waitlist as we were leaving the house (20 minutes away). When we arrived, we let one of the hostesses know we were on the waitlist and she said we'd be first up. Great!! My fiancé and I hate confrontation and are very easy-going. So when we kept seeing group after group get seated before us, we became really confused. I didn't hear my name at all nor was I getting a text. Groups that were walk-ins were getting seated before us. We gave the hostesses some grace because maybe there was some sort of mix-up? After about 5 groups were seated before us, we finally decided to say something. We spoke to Mikayla and let her know we had been waiting for at least 15 minutes and had seen multiple groups get seated before us. She checked her iPad, couldn't find my name, so she asked her coworker (who found it). And when she clicked on it, she said, "Look's like you took yourself off the waitlist. I added you back on to the top of the list so you'll be up next." And she had us sit down again. At this point, we were getting really frustrated but, like I said earlier, I hate confrontation. I didn't even want to correct her and tell her that I didn't remove myself off the waitlist. I don't even know how I would even do that, or why if I'm waiting to be seated. 10 minutes go by and 2 groups got seated before us. At this point, I knew something was up with their system because all of these groups were getting texts that their table was ready and I wasn't. I said something to Mikayla again and she asked for my name again. She said, "Looks like we texted you 10 minutes ago." And I told her that I never got any texts. I was really bummed and angry. She walked us to our table without saying a word more. Not once did Mikayla apologize for the long wait. I understand the system must have been messing up my reservation and that part wasn't any of the hostesses' fault. But, they all saw us sit there for 25 minutes...we weren't getting any texts.... Mikayla took no accountability nor was she kind at any point of our interaction. Luckily, our waitress turned our night around and was so incredibly kind and attentive. The food and drinks were great. Unfortunately, I'd never come back to this location just so I don't have to interact with the front staff again. That whole ordeal made me so uncomfortable and anxious. While getting ready for bed, I started getting ALL of the texts I was supposed to be getting in the waiting area hours later! Me especially, I didn't make a fuss about it at the time because I wanted my wife to enjoy our night out. Here's what went wrong, I very clearly ordered the Korean rib eye. The Korean rib eye was discussed between me and my waitress and she explained how it came prepared and what else came with it etc etc. so I said "ok let me have it, I'll take the Korean ribeye " Shortly after. They bring me a regular rib eye With different sides than ordered. Yes it's the same cut of steak. But two different dishes. The waitress knew she was wrong and toward the end of our meal she apologized for getting it wrong and told us she took the desert off our bill, for one, I don't want anything off my bill, I came there to order food and pay for it, that's the point of going out to eat for me, Going out somewhere Nice and spending some money and hope to get decent service and decent food.
