Worst service ever. The bartender Max gave me a menu... when I asked 5 minutes later if I could order with him, he responded, "Yeah, just give me a minute. " Meanwhile, another customer comes up to the bar, waited for 5 minutes and another bartender serves him. 5 minutes later, Max comes back and asks, "Wasn't Jeremy helping you? We didn't complain because they only had 2 servers working and not many bartenders so we understood, but a manager came by our table and comped our drinks for the wait. Came here to have a drink and grab a bite to eat with my girls a couple days ago. Great bar, set up and atmosphere! But my god... someone needs to do something about the bartender Sabrina- very rudely told us she'd be right with us and carried a 10 minute long conversation with a guy I could only assume she was flirting with, then left for another maybe 20 minutes with another guy who was working behind the bar and didn't acknowledge us again!! What!? In the meantime we waved down another bartender, James, and asked him if he could help us. He was so great. My girlfriends and I were very pleased with the prompt and friendly service he provided! Drinks were great, service was quick, and he was so sweet, such a flirt! Lol. I've been there a total of 3 times ( my daughter loves the games she's 4) the very first time I went I asked for game cards I wasn't sure if to pay in advance or not so I asked the server he said sure you can pay to which I obliged. My first time eating at Dave & Busters while visiting CA. I enjoyed the lively atmosphere! Nick the Host was endearing and friendly as he showed us to our table. The Servers were attentive and conscientious to assure a pleasant dining experience. New location first time here. Menu is more simplified, but missing some of the items I found good to order. I ordered the beast burger ,which lacked flavor and came with a very small amount of fries, ordered the boneless wings as well lemon pepper flavor again lacking seasoning and thickly breaded that was a little crumbly, also ordered the Philly cheese steak, the size was a big disappointment definitely way smaller then how they use to be, and added a mojito drink that had a minor amount of rum. The place has all the seating as you come in the doors to the right and games start as soon as you walk in. It is very loud inside, but I guess it's to be expected as they have music competing with game sounds competing with TV sound and guest cheering and talking over that. I didn't walk around so don't quit know the variety of games they have there yet we arrived around 6:30 and left by 9pm when more people were showing up. The one thing I saw here that I haven't seen at the Grove location is a young lady walking around selling some type of liquor in a syringe, which I thought was a little risky because if some adult doesn't finish it or them they could just leave them on the tables in the gaming area. And what do you know as I was walking from the restroom one was sitting half full on one of those tables for anyone to pick up including a child and there were plenty of kids walking around unsupervised to do so if they wanted. I love Dave and busters, it's my childhood and it's more fun now since I can drink and hangout with my coworkers after work. I went in 2 hours before last call and my gosh, the most horrible service I've ever received. We sat down at a table and wasn't approached until I had to go to a hostess to send us a server. She finally showed up and took our entire order. We didn't get drinks until I got up and went towards the bar about 20 mins in. Then our food finally showed up about 30 min later. The slowest service ever! It was not busy... I went to the bathroom and there was a broken alcohol glass lol, but sometimes you can't control how dumb people are, but I could've stepped in it to be honest. read more

I have always heard Dave and Busters was a cool place, so I thought I'd check it out and being able to take my date here one night was a lovely experience. although the location might be small, the atmosphere of the food and the people working make it an absolute blast to have been able to enjoy. The front desk hosts were all wonderful and happy to be there and the host Nick and Desirae were very accommodating to helping us better understand how we should best spend our time at Dave and Busters and I cant wait to come back, also the Server Michael was such a joy to have and made sure we got our food and drinks when we needed them! I come to this location if the one in the OC is packed. So the Orange County Dave & Busters doesn't get too packed but the parking is beyond packed because it is located in a outdoor mall. I do love coming to this location because it is closer to where I live. I believe the only down fall to it is every time we want to dine in, it takes forever. It takes a long time to get serviced and to get our food. Last time we came they told us they were short staffed and it was hours long wait. There were so many tables open but since they were short staffed they were only seating VERY few tables. We ended up playing a game or two and went to eat somewhere else. It's not my first choice of location but it is an option in case we don't find parking at the OC location. I do like that they have a private restroom to change babies and it's usually clean. read more

So I frequently come to this D&B and I always have an amazing time with the service, especially at the bar with Max and Bree. I absolutely love their service. I always have a wonderful time here but today there seems to be an issue with my gaming card / account so I headed to the ticket counter and I'm helped by the rudest employee I've ever encountered here. She not only told my sister that her coins were transferred and offered no help or any insight as to what could've happened or where they could've gone even though she just purchased the coins. Then later I went up to the counter alone and asked about how many tickets I have and she then started aggressively tapping at my phone and didn't try to show me how to get to the QR code to get my tickets. For her to even touch my property without my consent as an employee is mind boggling. And even later in the evening when my friend went up to the counter she proceeded to trash talk about her phone. My friend has been trying to get back on her feet after being homeless and for her to make such unsolicited comments is extremely disrespectful. Today's outing was supposed to cheer us up after having to bury one of our closest and dearest friends and to have such a nasty attitude thrown at us for asking simple questions is so disheartening. To have three black women come to the counter and be treated like trash makes this service terrible which is why I'm giving it the rating I am. Everyone is so welcoming and inviting the moment you enter the place. All employees consistently ask or offer if we need anything. Honestly had a great time. All food runners were polite and every host made sure the experience was inviting since the moment I came in. The host Nick at the front counter who took our seats was funny and generous. We came to check out the newly opened Restaurant/game site. We were interested in having my daughter's birthday party here, so we wanted to sample the food and atmosphere. The hostess sat us at a table, we read the menu and waited for our server. The place was not full, only one large group and three smaller tables taken. We waited 20 minutes until someone came to our table to take our order. Our server took our order and was very apologetic for our wait. The drinks arrived first, turn around time decent, but the person who delivered them gave me the wrong beer, even when she asked who had Modelo and who had Coors Lite. The food came shortly thereafter, except the pretzel I ordered. Long story short, I asked about the pretzel from 3 different people and no one would give me an explanation as to what was up with it, or if it would be coming out later. I tried to get our servers attention, but she was working on splitting the bill for the large group. Many receipts and credit cards later, she finally looked our way. She came over and I inquired of her, when the pretzel might arrive and she went to check on it. She came back asking if I wanted to order anything else? I said, "no!" Not many veggie options on this menu. Once again she embarked on the quest for my pretzel. She returned later, stating that she went into the freezer and there were no pretzels. 45 minutes into our trip, I still have no food, cancelled the pretzel, left hungry, and may never return. We visited this restaurant for my daughter's softball banquet. When we sat at the two tables for our party of 25, we did not receive any service, so I went to the bar to order a pitcher for my wife and me. The bartender shared that they only had Towers and that we could only order this product if we had four people in our party. I explained that we had at least 25, and that we would share a beer or two with our daughter's coaches. She said that she understood and sold us the Tower. Two minutes later, Cham, our server, comes over and asked why we have a Tower, that we were not allowed to buy it without four (4) adult at our table, when we already actually had six (6) adults at out table. Cham then went back and grabbed a manager to get ale the Tower away. When the manager arrived at out table, he did not introduce himself and he stood close to us in a cavalier manner. After I explained to him that the tower was for everyone at the table, he said, "Well, why didn't you say so?" and I had to let him know that we already shared this with Cham, but Cham didn't want to hear our answer. After this, we ordered some food off the bar menu, but when the food arrived, it was not what we ordered. When Cham returned, we shared that this wasn't the food we ordered, and he stated that we ordered from the Bar menu, but that menu was only after 10:00pm. I asked him why he didn't say that when we pointed to the menu item that we wanted. Cham simply shrugged his shoulders. Then, for the next two hours we not only experienced scarce service, but he got several orders wrong. The night manager, Steve, however, was extremely nice to my wife and daughter.
