Everytime we go here, WE EAT GOOD & DRINK GOOD. Definitely recommend, whether it's for a date, or going with a group of friends. Be mindful of the time you go if it's late they tend to close one side of the restaurant area (possibly because lack of staff). Table wait times can be long. The burgers are delicious the salmon is always good, the drinks are tasty! And you get to play games or watch your friends play games. It is LOUD though so if you're not okay with loud noises, definitely don't recommend. It's kid friendly too, keep that in mind. The photo booth is a must try! Save your money and eat before you go. We were there to celebrate a 12 year old's birthday and the food and service sucked. None of our food was hot when it came out. All of the fries were cold. Our server, Natalia was not attentive, informative or bothered to ask us if we had any questions. Didn't bother to mention the fact that if you asked for an extra side of ranch that it cost extra and they were tiny by the way. Avoid using coupons at the Long Beach store. They deny coupons. But the worst part is you will lose extra credits due to the manager carelessness. They added 200 credits prior to coupon, they say coupon no good, suppose to deduct 200 credits, but in the process 300 extra credits got deducted that were purchased prior. Then they blamed me it was my fault that they don't accept coupons. However I asked the cashier if they accept $20 for $20 coupons she said yes, but she claimed the barcode was no good and that's when the transaction got voided and screwed me over. The manager who came to void the transaction said not to waste his time trying to use coupons, then got mad that I came to explain how he took off 300 credits off my card. I had to beg the manager to make things right. And even I showed the discrepancy he acknowledged it but replied to call customer service for the mistake their store made. He eventually corrected the discrepancy but it was a very unpleasant situation to have to fight for $50 worth of missing chips they took off by mistake and being blamed for using. Don't come to this store for coupons they will do everything to deny them, then you will end trying to reason with managers to get your credits back. Even if another store will accept it without hesitation. The system error or employee carelessness will result in losing credits which is like a punishment for trying to use a coupon offered by Dave and Busters. I will avoid this store in the future for coupons. Even if you show them the discrepancy on the kiosk, they make it so hard to make things right. I will try buy credits at another store, Long Beach is a huge risk with your money if anything goes wrong if you're not good at reading game history on the kiosk. You can easily lose $50 in credits due to their error. read more

Came here and the happy hour drinks are meh. Not a lot of variety. It's new so it's clean, spacious and like other places, loud. Great place to come hang out and watch a game at the bar or play a game. The eats are good but the main reasons for the sub par rating is for service. It wasn't terrible but it wasnt good either. Most of the wait staff was more hanging out/ flirting and they only had one bartender the whole night. Drinks took forever to come so it's a bit of a vibe killer. What's not cute is this forced upon you photo. Don't fall for it. They give u a speech on capturing a free photo of you and your group but it's an upsell tactic for bigger prints. It's like babes let us vibe no one wants your 10 dollar photo when everyone has a digital camera on phone and Walmart prints are 23 cents. The restrooms are amazing, state of the art and super clean. That was prob the best part. The amazing restrooms. Overall had okay overpriced drinks but you pay for the ambiance. Was excited to experience this location because it was convenient. First impressions when entering were dull because I was expecting personnel to be visible and present. The first thing you see is the automated game chip machine to purchase for game play. I'm assuming they probably dont want you to dine, but just play. Later, I noticed a tiny booth, the size of a pedestal. There was someone there but hiding against the wall, awkward moments. I approached her and told her I have reservations at 230pm, didn't really need one, pretty quiet atm. Cut the story short. Overall, experience was okay. I ordered a steak salad, chicken wings (recommended from a friend to ask for double fried.. and it was perfect), and a watermelon margarita. We had a party of 12, and the service was great. Today my husband and I decided to have lunch here. I have already submitted a complaint via their online form. We were seated in bar area at a small table near bar. Servers were milling about talking near the computer and kitchen delivery windows. We had several walk past w/o acknowledging us. We were sitting there with menus, no beverages. We continued to sit there without our ordered beverages despite seeing them sitting at pickup area. Our server was milling about with others again near the computer. Eventually the original server brought us our beverages. Our food arrived and OMG my sandwich was pathetic. I ordered the new Philly Cheesesteak that the menu states has steak, cheese, mushrooms, peppers and onions. I got a not even close to appealing presentation of just steak and cheese whiz. Here is menu photo and what I was served. My husband's cheeseburger looked very nice tho he said it was dry. Our ticket had "med well" on it and he wasn't asked how he wanted his burger cooked. Considering the poor service we just ate and requested check. Normally we'd have two beverages but we didn't have all day to wait around. As it was we got check and it was forever until server came back by to let us pay. I tipped more than I wanted to (chose the first option 18%) tho I should have done a manual entry of 10%. I understand being a server can be rough but it wasn't busy as evidenced by the crowd of servers hanging around the computer. Off top, this was a great idea as each guest got a $50 Dave & Buster's card, a premium drink, and a food buffet. In speaking with other people who also reserved rooms at Dave & Buster's, if you have a party of 10-15 or more, this is the best way to go for a birthday. When I got here around 7 PM the place was super crowded I mean crowded to the point you could not walk around comfortably. There were kids running amok everywhere. As I passed by the dining/bar tables to go into the party rooms a lot of it not bussed (dirty). Also just a ton of people around the bar, playing games etc. When I got to the party room it was a breather of relief as there was room to sit, a buffet spread, our own waiter and a huge TV showing the UFC fights. I've only been here on weekend nights so it's pretty packed, lots of people in the arcade area and the table/bar area. The girl didn't really seem happy to be helping us, but we did come from an angels game were a little rowdy so maybe that was why. Anyway, we ordered the lagunitas beer tower, nachos with chicken, and chicken strips. We enjoyed the beer and food and played some games. We went a second time on a Saturday night and not as busy this time but, it was really hard to get any one to help us at the bar, I think they were understaffed? Although there were people behind the bar who would not give your their attention or even look at you so you could ask who could actually take your order. I think there's some work to be done in terms of customer service. I also wish they made the seating area bigger, seems a little cramped. I really didn't think customer service could get this bad. I was in there with my coworkers 3 days ago, I think I left my credit card on the bar when I left. I tried calling every day since then. Day 1 they were "Hosting a private event and couldn't get to the phone." Day 2 I got connected to their answering services who asked me for someone's extension and after repeating the message 3 times they hung up. I called back and got through to the "Lost and found" where I left a message with a voicemail over 24 hours ago - no response. Today I called the same number again and explained how I'm now almost 4 days without my debit card and they can't even confirm nor deny if they have it. Their call center wouldn't even connect me to the restaurant in person. There was an empty table so we sat there while we waited. A server came by to let us know that we had to clear the table as another party was going to be seated there. Came here for some family fun with my husband and 4 year old. We arrived at around 10:45 AM, they open at 10 AM. We got our play card at one of the kiosks in the front and went off to play. We walked around and played about 14 games. My daughter had so much fun playing the vehicle games (jetski, race cars, motorcycles) and the shooting games (Halo and Jurassic Park). One of the ticketed game, she played, she won 1000 tickets on one pull. Beginners luck!!! After about 45 minutes of play, we went and had lunch at their restaurant. We ordered the half rack of ribs with coleslaw and fries, burger with fries, and kid's cheese pizza with fries. Food was ok. My ribs were a bit too salty and the coleslaw was bland. I was surprised when the waitresses and workers were very friendly and accommodating. The place was super clean and the game selection was plentiful! We got there just in time for happy hours where all the drinks were half off! Drinks were great! Totally didn't skimp on the liquor. Had about 2 types of drinks (or was it 3? Lol). Woo hoo! So I came in to play some games ended up having a drink and ordering some nachos at the bar. Drink came out quick as did the nachos . I did order them without jalapeño and the bartender repeated that back to me so I know she heard, the plate was loaded with em, but it's no biggie right? Numerous people behind the bar ignored my empty glasses for at least 10 minutes. 10 minutes into this was thinking ok I should talk to the manager, I see him across the room. I try to get his attention for the next 10 minutes but he's leaning back against the wall chatting with a few of the young girls without a care in the world. He stayed there for 10 minutes until I just gave up. Took the tip back that I was leaving and just left. Talk about terrible service AND management. I worked in the industry for 20 years so I know how it works. It wasn't that busy.
