My review is based on the service at the bar and both trips in the last couple of weeks have been d}good. First trip tried the Delmonico steak and that was cook and seasoned to perfection. I also got a wedge salad and mashed potatoes, both came out perfect. In future I might just order wedge topped with shrimp or steak as a meal....food for thought. I also got a chocolate cake slice to go which was tasty.. On my 2nd visit I was not as hungry and got the smaller NY strip, but having just had a NY strip at Flemings two weeks prior proved to be my downfall. It was a good steak and cooked to medium rare, but in my mind I'm comparing it to a steak in a another level. Couldn't hold it against outback especially since it's less than half the price and comes with two sides. Overall had a great experience and dinner, it was crowded both times I went with groups waiting outside. Glad I found room at the bar though. Servers at the bar were great I forgot there names but both ladies did a great job, one actually had a wardrobe malfunction, her belt broke. But her partner saved the day and gave up her belt. Outback and a quick interesting fun fact before my writing starts to jack. I did Not know that this is an American chain and that it's based out of Tampa Florida. Wow! Like where have I been! Probably under an edible rock?! LoL! Ok I must admit when I think of this place it's not at the top of my list but it was surprisingly pretty good. We went with what they're known for which was the Shrimp on the Barbie and one of the combos with the Alice Springs Chicken. Oh yeah and a bowl of their French Onion soup. Everything was pretty good except the chicken which was kinda dry and tough but still flavorful in a way. Showed up and due it to being an hour till close the tablet for the table was off so I didn't see the deal. The service I received for my son's 18th birthday wasn't the best, everything was not only unorganized but very unprofessional! Some of my family didn't get food , some didn't get drinks and the checks were completely divided incorrectly! She then started being very nasty and talking to me as the check was not paid, you would of thought I ran out on the check, she then said she was not honoring what her manager promised, and offered $100 gift card! At this point it's not about any gift cards , but now it shows the unprofessional, unorganized establishment! I was treated with such disrespect while attempting to check on gift cards we were promised! Allison is nasty! Our dining experience wasn't good and the promises were left not resolved! We also ordered the spinach artichoke dip (6/10), but the spinach was burnt and it didn't stand out. The mac n cheese was the biggest disappointment -- bland, flavorless, and even adding salt didn't help (3/10). The bread was cold in the middle, which took away from what could've been a nice starter (1/10). On the comfort side, the booths are very small and tight. Being pregnant, I had a hard time sitting and ended up asking for a chair instead. One positive is that the prices are very reasonable -- we paid only $30 for three dishes. We have been to this Outback location several times over the years and they seem so do well. Last night however, they really shat the bed. Service which is usually great was poor to average. The food was very very subpar. The cocktails were even bad. My advise to the bartender would be. If you don't know how to mix drinks. Then maybe you shouldn't do it for a living? Last but not least , the main reason we went to Outback on a Thursday was to beat the weekend crowd and get our favorite food "Outback style Prime Rib". Only to find out that a corporate decision was made not to serve Prime rib On a Thursday. Only on the weekends. I am sure some bean counter pencil neck at corporate made that call. The nail in the coffin was today we stopped at another establishment that rhymes with "Shenolte" and the steak in my bowel tasted better than the steak I got at Outback.
