Good donuts. Someone brought this box of donuts to work so have not been to shop. But the donuts were nice and soft and sweet. Just a good donut.

Dave's Terrace bakery is an awesome little bakery tucked in the South Hills. The bakers also often really have fun with their work and create random animals out of bread or cupcakes and it's just really cute. Their donuts are a staple in our lives as they are a perfect treat to take the vets office or friends and family. The pastries are equally delish and I really appreciate the cake/icing ratios for their cake. Everyone is always so friendly and kind when you visit. You have to get there early though because they sell out of donuts very quickly.

I have visited here two weeks in a row now before going in to the grocery store. Each time the employees were very nice, helpful and patient. My son loves their sugar cookies. I have tried a few different donuts and each one was delicious. I can't wait to go back and try some more!

Rating: 4.6 Stars Update 8/6/2021: My mom bought their Carrot Cake for my cousin's birthday, and this was my first time having it! It was fantastic. The icing was the perfect sweetness, and the cake itself was excellent. I highly recommend this Carrot Cake! Update 4/4/2021: My family ordered an Easter Paska Bread. It was light, airy, and tasted great. The raisins were nicely spaced and complimented the bread very well.

A small bakery in South Hills on Brownsville Road. However, they have a huge selection of baked goods, cakes and donuts. In addition to the sweet items, they sell homemade pierogies and pepperoni rolls. I went back recently to try some other items. I chose a chocolate cover creme filled donut and a half dozen Hershey kiss cookies. They were both delicious. Huge cookie trays are available for the holiday. The workers who waited on us were friendly and patient.

A variety of donuts and bread.

Their donuts and lady locks are extremely tasty. They also offer other baked goods including bread.

10 stars if I could! As a New Yorker living in Pittsburgh, I take my cheesecake seriously!!!…read moreKyle's Cakes N'at absolutely delivered. I got to try the plain cheesecake, buckeye, lavender, double chocolate, biscoff, and key lime pie, and honestly every single one was delicious! His cakes are made with alot of labor & love! What made this experience even more amazing, was getting to go behind the scenes and actually help make a ton of different cheesecakes. Such a fun, hands on experience getting to see Kyle in action and the amount of hard work that goes into every order. I loved hearing his stories about his childhood and his family influences. Kyle is only 31 and has owned his business for over 7 years! That's impressive. You can really see the passion behind his baking. He works incredibly hard and even sacrifices a lot of his social life to keep growing his business, perfecting his craft, and supporting his community. Small business, big story! definitely a spot worth supporting in Pittsburgh!!!!! Thank you Kyle & Lisa

Kyle's nails marketing with a very recognizable and obvious logo! We immediately wanted to get a slice of the key lime cheesecake... and luckily snagged the last one. Prices seem high until you see the size and taste these cakes!! Quick and easy service, since it's all just slice and serving! Great vendor to find at any market!

This shop is part of a larger chain but currently appears to be the only location in the Pittsburgh area. It's located in East Liberty and is really more of a bakery than a coffee shop. The inside is split about 50/50, with half dedicated to seating and the other half serving as a self-serve bakery. You grab a tray and tongs before walking around selecting whichever baked goods catch your eye. They also have display cases filled with cakes and other pastries that need to be kept refrigerated. For my coffee on this morning I went with a 16 oz hot honey lavender macchiato while my wife chose a 16 oz iced tiramisu latte. I have to admit that the name of my drink confused me a bit at first, but it ended up being a latte macchiato as expected. With that being said, I thought it was quite good. The lavender was light enough to be noticeable without overpowering the drink, while the honey added just the right amount of sweetness. The espresso was also present, especially on the finish, where it added both flavor and body. My wife also enjoyed her latte and appreciated the tiramisu flavors throughout. Outside of the coffee, we ordered a number of pastries. My wife chose the Crookie, which is a cookie baked on top of a croissant. My son picked out a chocolate-covered Belgian waffle, while my daughter chose the strawberry soft bread. All of them enjoyed what they ordered, and I think my wife especially loved the Crookie. As for me, I went a little overboard and chose a garlic and cheese croissant, a curry croquette, pork-dusted bread, and a sweet taro cream bread. All of them were delicious in their own way. The garlic and cheese croissant was a nice savory option, with plenty of garlic flavor and a crispy cheese crust. The curry croquette had wonderful warming spices that made it especially flavorful. The pork-dusted bread was definitely the most unusual item. The pork topping reminded me of Wild Bill's Beef Jerky, and somehow those savory flavors worked really well on top of the crunchy laminated bread. Last but certainly not least was the taro cream bread. I was impressed by how light it felt despite being packed with an impressive amount of cream filling. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I'm a sucker for bakeries like this and clearly ordered far more than my waistline needed, but everything I tried was enjoyable. While the coffee was good, the pastries are the real reason to visit, with the coffee serving as an excellent complement.

My husband also enjoyed the almond croissant. We have also enjoyed cookies and cheesecake. The egg custard pastry is so creamy and delicious. The butter Madeleine is buttery goodness.
