I really hate car mechanics but Dave and his family changed my mind. My husband and I live an hour away but will always make the trip to go here. Our car needed a brand new motor and Dave helped us out. His prices are more than reasonable, and his knowledge when it comes to vehicles is outstanding. Thanks to David and his sons my 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser is now reliably back in service to me! I had a HUGE problem with my truck stalling intermittently (on the freeway and city streets) with no warning, no symptoms and NO codes or check engine lights. Was installing a new valve cover on my Kia Forte a few months back, broke off a bolt in the head and anyone that works on cars knows how annoying that is, didn't wanna mess up my motor so I took it to Dave and they got it out and installed the new valve cover that same day. Today I brought the same car in because I haven't had a single working window in my car for months, brought it back in and with some electrical wizardry he got two of my windows working again! On top of that I asked for a trans service, which always makes me a little nervous because I've had that done in the past with other so called pros and ended up with a more slippery trans than what I started with, not here tho. My car started overheating on the way to work. I called around to ask which local mechanic was available for me to get the car to get towed to. The moment I heard Dave's voice, I felt relieved. He's really nice, relaxed, and reassuring. Got my car to towed to his place. Apparently my radiator blew. Dave called around and got a good deal on a radiator for me and had it fixed by the following morning. Car is running great. His work comes with a good warranty, which is transferable as I told him I'm probably going to sell it soon. He was even kind enough to look up the value and give me some good advise about that. Been here a couple times, and never had a problem. David Anderson explains his diagnoses very well and can be trusted to make the right diagnosis and do a skilled quality repair. If the car needs further DIY type work, David is helpful on telling you what you need to do. You might see advertised specials that have lower prices on some services, but wouldn't you pay 15% more to know 100% that your mechanic is honest and skilled? Lifesaver! After my normal mechanic botched an oil leak job and gave me the run around for two weeks David was able to fix the serious problems the previous guy had left me with in one day. Not only did he get it done in one day he was able to complete it quickly because of a tool he made himself, meaning that I paid less in labor. (Genius) This is great family owned business that will explain repairs they do in detail, and take the time to get the job done right, meaning that both you and your car will be happy you came here. Not sure why David doesn't have more reviews, hes a great mechanic. My mom and I brought both our cars here for major tune ups and minor engine work. You cant get much better, great work and great prices. The motor mount he replaced for me makes the car feel like its brand new! He also let me know about a few other things that the previous owner had done which could have actually hurt the car. All around great service, even received and Thank You card in the mail from David a couple weeks after the first service. Our mechanic just retired so I've been a little bit nervous to find a new one. I called a few other shops - some wanted to charge for the diagnosis, some were too busy and couldn't look at our car until next week. David checked it out right away and had the car fixed and ready to pick up in just 3.5 hours (it needed a new alternator and an oil change). Noticed my valve covers leaking badly a few days before an out of town trip for my wife's birthday. Perfect timing, right??? Anyways, I called a few highly reviewed shops in the area, and was anticipating to have to cancel our trip due to the short notice on my end in requesting this repair. Fortunately, Dave was awesome and willing to work with me...he did not have to. He scheduled me in for the next day, first thing in the morning. He also stated that he would try to get the job done by 1pm so I could get on the road as soon as possible. He ended up calling me at 12:30pm for pickup!!! It doesn't always work out like this but boy was I so appreciative. Talking to Dave after the work was done, learning about his vast education and experience in automotive, as well as that of his two boys who work with him was music to my ears.
