If I could give this Dental office more than 5 starts I would! I had a last minute emergency and they got me in the very next day. They were completely kind and professional. The front staff over the phone was very sweet to my fiancé and in person to me as well. The dentist that did my treatment was very personable, professional, and informative during my treatment. When I called to make the appointment in March, I was told they took my insurance.(Apparently, they did not bother to check, or they had someone new at the counter, I dont know which) ... It was not until I was sitting in the dentist chair, and he was showing me some really pricey work---that I requested he please check to see how much of his estimated bill would be covered by my insurance.) He came back and said, "They actually did not take my insurance at all!" and told me I would not be charged for the visit. Months later, I received a bill for the visit, which I am disputing. A gal named Rachel Z obviously has me mixed up with someone else...as she says we spoke on Aug. 5- 2025 ( we did not- )She says I came there on an emergency basis about an infected front tooth ( I never had that) - I have the proof. So basically, I signed their form of payment authorization based on the fact that my care was covered ( at least partially) by my insurance (which was what THEY told me!) I would never have gone there without that assurance. ( PS: no X-rays were taken, or anything) I have not heard back from their office manager ( as I requested), but if that person does not ameliorate this, a more negative situation will certainly ensue. read more

I started a series of procedures starting spring of 2025. I was given a total amount cost after insurance coverage for all, which I had 2 insurance companies... all services were medical, not cosmetic and the after cost was agreeable.. the services had begun, one at a time. when I went in for one of the most needed and most expensive towards the end, they asked for payment 4 x the cost given on the itemized agreement.. I asked why and the dentist said he doesn't do preauthorizations or send into the insurance companies for the after payment from insurance because he doesn't want to pay for authorizations plus he didn't communicate that it was a medical necessity instead of cosmetic.. on that note, he was uncaring and told me the original price was wrong, after we started and completed at least 3 procedures, and gave me a final bill over double cost, not including any authorization of coverage from insurance since he didn't want to bother with that or the cost.... I have been going to that practice for 10 years and the other staff have always been amazing... they have had a turnover of dentists, and this one is uncaring and rude.. devastation is not enough to say how I felt and humiliated by his treatment... he should not engage with patients and has no business in his line of work.... read more

I have been going to Dr. Davis for 4 years now. I have had a wonderful experience every single time. He's kind, attentive, humorous and excellent at his job. I also appreciate his staff so much ... dental hygienist, dental assistants and the front desk. They are extremely supportive and kind people. Outside billing company that is extremely rude, does not return calls, bills before my insurance, threatens collections after I've already paid up front. Keeps a deposit in a winter blizzard and chances of highway closing. If you live out of the area, absolutely do not use this dentist. Sad they would rather lose a customer than rebook an appointment. The billing manager really needs to learn customer service. I tried 3 weeks to get a hold of her and finally returned my call the day of my appointment, which I needed to go to. While on a skiing trip in early Feb. 2023, I had to have a tooth pulled. I found Dr. Davis and West Reno Dental. Dr. Davis evaluated my situation, was pretty cool and extracted the tooth. The office ran my insurance, I paid my portion and left. There were no antibiotics prescribed, nor pain meds. After the local anesthesia wore off I was told to apply ice and could alternate aspirin and naproxen. I was in so much pain I was shivering. I returned home to San Diego and immediately had to see another dentist for the pain. They couldn't believe that no antibiotics were prescribed. They therefore prescribed an antibiotic and pain meds. THEN, THE KICKER...8 months later the new office staff sends me a bill. So, if you want a dentist that fails to prescribe necessary medicines, keeps you in pain and then sends you more bills 8 months after the fact because they failed initially, then this should be your dentist of choice. Otherwise, steer clear of this chop shop. read more

Dr. Paschal is a dentist you can trust. He is gentle and caring and will take the time to explain to you what he is doing and will pay attention to how you are doing while he is working on you. The hygienists are all super professional and give you very personal care. The office staff went out of their way to help in scheduling and rescheduling my appointments. Came here because I was in extreme pain from a wisdom tooth and other issues that are still somewhat apparent. They extracted a tooth but left a fragment. I know this because a year later, I'm at another dental office and I can see it on my rads and I've also felt it but just disregarded it. This office also said I had 8+ cavities and needed a deep cleaning. The current dentist I'm at said I only had two and only need a basic cleaning. Wow, not going back. All I can say is I have been with West Reno dental for the last the last year and it is the best decision that I have ever made to change dentists and dental offices. The front staff Are absolutely wonderful and helpful and everyone in the office is just great. Lexi my dental hygienist is so thorough and explains everything and tries to help me understand what changes I can make to help my teeth. She does a very thorough teeth cleaning and causes no bad aftermath of pain or discomfort. Doctor Davis is amazing he always has a couple of plans of attack if I need something to be addressed. A++ Modern equipment. Interior designed more like a new rustic home, rather than a medical facility. Lower traffic means the staff gets to know every patient, unlike some of the larger dental factories in town. Seems more like a large family over here. Staff is professional, they know what they are doing, and they all seem like genuinely good people. I just finished my Invisalign procedure today and am extremely happy with the results. Pretty sure this is the best price around too. Another place in town quoted me over $3,000 higher than West Reno Dental. And it's not like they could be more skilled in orthodontics as far as Invisalign goes because it's mostly handled off-site at Invisalign anyway. I 150% recommend Invisalign procedure at West Reno Dental. I moved over here from a facility where it was obvious they were just in it for the money. West Reno Dental is like a breath of fresh air because it's obvious that these folks have a passion for their work and really care about their business. read more

I had not been to the dentist in about 6 years and was having extreme pain. I checked my insurance and just so happened to stumble across West Reno Dental which is also very close to my work. I called on a Friday and they got me in first thing on Monday. Had to have some major dental work and Dr. Paschal and his team are amazing. I have had a couple of complications, mainly because of such a bad infection and waiting so long (my fault) but they were very responsive and attentive to that. I had to call the Dr. at 9:30 at night and it went to his personal cell. He was kind and calmed me down. I have seen him a few times since and his attitude is always positive and always had a smile on his face! Same with all the ladies there from the front office to back office staff. I've been going to West End Dental to Dr Paschal for about 4 yrs. I followed THE BEST hygienist Angie there and never looked back. Dr Paschal is amazing!! He has done several crowns for me over the years, and the workmanship is amazing! He uses a phenomenal lab, and the crowns fit perfectly when they come back. Gretchen his Assistant is super professional and competent also. The two of them work as one. Well I thought I found a good dentist The doc was great but the office staff are horrible to work with. I called for the details on my bill and Terry, apparently the office manager, was short, provided me with my insurance phone number and asked for my credit card or there would be a finance charge. She was rude and said this is a business we need your credit card or I'll have to end this call. If you're reading this Paschal, I would have loved to rerun, but if you have rude and unprofessional office staff your going to keep loosing customers. What a waste of my time. read more
