David and his team always took care of me and my old car. Now that I have a newer vehicle I will continue to have it service by them

Very friendly and helpful with questions and didn't take long for my oil change. I didn't have an appointment and got a free car wash!

Total rip-off. I…read morecalled Automed for an oil change. On the phone, Fernando told me it would cost $89. I told him I had already bought my own oil and filter, and he said it would be around $85, which made no sense, so I said I would just return my oil them. When I dropped off the car, I did not confirm the price again, which was apparently my mistake. But I clearly told the guy at the desk, "I I have already spoke on the phone, there is oil and a filter on the passenger seat. Just ignore it. I am going to return it." When I came back to pick up the car, nobody told me the price. They just said, "Tap here." I asked, "How much?" and was told it would be about $151 (or something close to that number). I asked why the price was different from what I had been told on the phone. The guy at the desk could not explain it and went to talk to the "manager." I could clearly hear them talking about me. When Fernando came over, he still did not explain why the price had changed. He just kept saying, "We are only going to charge you $69 for labor." I told him they could charge me the $89 he originally quoted, but I was ignored. He just kept repeating the same thing. My issue was not paying for the work. My issue was being told one price on the phone and then being charged something different without explanation. After I left, I noticed they had taken my old oil, my oil filter, and my receipt from the car... They also drove my car around the block for some kind of diagnostic, and I know that because I have GPS installed, but they never asked for my consent. Is that even normal?

A third person was incredibly rude to me on the phone Larsen was a great experience: Polite knowledgeable efficient and friendly They figured it out, called me with an estimate and then got the part quickly and fixed it for the agreed upon price My go to place from now on for sure I already recommended them to two friends Shout out to Aubrey

I've lived in LA for over 16 years and have tried more auto shops than I can count--dealerships,…read morechains, and small independents--for everything from oil changes to major repairs. Larsen Automotive is the first place that made me stop looking. What sets Larsen apart is the rare combination of trust, fair pricing, and genuinely great service. They explain what's going on with your car in plain language, break down what's urgent versus what can wait, and never make you feel pressured. Their prices are very reasonable--especially compared to the dealerships I've used--and the quality of their work has been consistently excellent. You can tell this is a family business with a real legacy, not just a volume-driven operation. There's a welcoming, community feel when you walk in, and they clearly take pride in their reputation in Culver City and West LA. Both of my cars now only go to Larsen, and I recommend them to anyone who asks. If you're looking for a trustworthy, long-term shop instead of rolling the dice every time something goes wrong, this is the place.
