I dropped the car off late Monday and the work was completed Tuesday by 3:00 pm. No BS, no pressure. David is very friendly and happy to talk with you about your car in general. I took my 2016 jeep wrangler jk 2 Dr to David because he was pretty close to me and he has Excellent reviews. I chose the right mechanic! I explained my symptoms and he heard as I drove in. After diagnosis we had to replace my lifters and rocker arms. My cam shafts were fine. Other (crooks) mechanics might tell you your cam shafts are bad and show you another vehicles camshaft to convince you. David is honest, polite, and provided excellent service. During the last heatwave I decided that it is actually inhumane for me to keep driving around with no A/C. I called David's auto clinic last minute on a Saturday, around 3pm just to check prices since it was nearby. I'm assuming it was David who answered and said to bring it down, no appointment necessary, it would be done in 45 minutes and it was also the lowest cost I'd been quoted yet. Every other place said I was going to wait at least 2 hours and pay extra. Turns out the place also closes at 4 on Saturday, not 6 as it says online, and he still took it in that close to closing time. Have some patience because it looks like this clinic is a one man show, which is alot of work, but I'll definitely be recommending him from now on. read more

I came in for a smog the guy wasn't very clear speaking he took a visual inspection oof my car and kept making reasons why he can't inspect it "it's too low" which is not true my Car has a body kit that is flexible and make it lookk lowered but it's stock. Then he had me pop the hood and said it was going to fail becuase he couldn't identify a DELETED vacuum line on my car. Like the line had no purpose, no end connection. If you put your finger over the hole it didn't push or suck any air out. Just a harmless delete that has never gave me a problem at any other smog inspection place. He ended the visual inspection by closiNg my hood and saying he can't help me because he didn't know what that line went to and was going to faill me and that he had to remove it if I wanted him togo any further. I took my Mercedes E430 for smog and oil change. I had my own oil because I wanted Mobile 1 "20,000 mile" oil change. I was lacking two quarts because my vehicle took 8 quarts. I took my car nome and I added two quarts and it still showed that it needs more oil. Therefore, I took the car back to David and I was quite upset. David immediately eased my stress and said I will take care of you. He checked the car and showed me that there were no leaks anywhere and it just needed more oil, which he added. My main negative encounter was David could have been a little bit more friendly. read more

Overcharged and wont retest for free, every other smog station will give you a free retest if it fails. He wanted to charge a fee to plug in something that literaly took me 10 sec to do, then charged me $40. To resmog. Id avoid this place. read more

Took my car in for an oil change yesterday and loved the place! David is really nice, was super sweet to my dog, and did the oil change nice and promptly. He always answers the phone when I call, and I see him greeting customers with a happy and friendly personality. Good customer service goes a long way with me. Also, I'll be taking my car there for regular service and repairs since he's a no bullshit center, as in he won't try and scam you and convince you to get repairs you don't need. He's the crook !!!!I was the girl who was supposed to purchase the car from him and I found David's Auto Clinic on yelp and brought the vehicle I was looking to buy from Craigslist. David was not only professional but very detailed in what was wrong with the car. Before the car was even done getting check he told me about how the key had a major button missing and when I asked him if he would fix it for a price he told me he does not have the machine to fix keys OR have the ability to "reprogram" anything for that matter. The car didn't start and now the seller wants to blame this mans business and it's a scam. Sorry I brought this on you but I had to do what's right and write this review. This place sucks!!! I ran into an emergency because I locked my keys in my truck, outside their shop. I just needed a long tool to unlock my truck. Instead of understanding I needed help and do what a decent person would do. They wanted to charge me 40 bucks to use a long screw driver. There are plenty of NICE mechanics. Don't ever use them.
