I called Trailhead Bicycles and asked about service packages, service appointments etc. The young gentleman I spoke to was Ian (sp), he was extremely helpful over the phone explaining the service procedures and timeframe for service completions available. We decided after talking to Ian to drop our bikes off that day for an evaluation. We expected to leave our bikes and pick-up two weeks later. Upon arrival, Ian met us and did a quick review of our bikes, assessed my gear malfunction, gave us price quotes etc. Due to the well kept condition of our bikes, Ian decided he could service our bikes right then. We were so surprised, not at all what we expected! Long story, Ian performed a thorough review and service of our bikes and had us out of there within an hour - not two weeks as expected! Ian provided us peace of mind about the condition and operation of our bikes, he assured us our bikes are in great condition and safe for us to hit the trails! We received excellent service from the helpful, kind and courteous staff at this location - highly recommend. Both kids were riding safely and confidently when they were done. BWorks staff were helpful in guiding me not only to available bicycles in my size, but others that would be ready for sell in two weeks or less. Prices are very reasonable, but don't expect new like condition. In addition to two-wheelers BWorks has all kinds of parts, clothing, and cycling paraphernalia for sale.

Pricing is competitive ($10 an hour, with discounts for renting all day), and the checkout process is quick and easy. Staff is knowledgeable and will give you riding advice (getting to the park can be tricky). They are about a 10 minute walk from the subway line or the park entrance.

When a…read morecrack in the frame was discovered on my 2015 Raleigh Clubman, I had no qualms about leaving it with him. He originally stated in early January of 2022 it would take 2 to 3 months - TOPS. By the end of March, I was beginning to wonder and shot off an email. He stated with recent "equipment failures" at his shop, he was running way behind. A little communication here would've gone a long way. Would it kill ya to send out emails to customers letting them know? The bike was picked up on April 30, 2022. Now for the disgusting part; realizing the saddle height was a tad too high, I went to loosen the retaining bolt. It snapped in half. OK...OK...the bike is almost 7 years old. It could've happened at any time. But, the seat-post itself was very hard to move up or down. Upon finally getting the seat-post extracted, I was SHOCKED to see & feel there was NO lube or grease either on the seat-post or in the tube. The crack he repaired was at the junction of the seat-post tube & the top tube. Anyone with cycling knowledge whatsoever knows better. Good way for that seat-post to rust over time & get seized inside the tube - permanently!
