If you love me you will never ever make me a bridesmaid. Okay, so one of my best friends is getting married and here I am at this fucking store doing the second worst thing which is painfully watch her try on gown after gown. First worst thing for the record is actually making me a bridesmaid and making me wear a hideous gown. Not my cup of tea or coffee. Here we go. Though she is not having bridesmaids she wanted us to all join in the fun and be there while she tries on dresses. We were suppose to pregame in the parking lot before hand. I don't know why that idea went out the window. The five of us and egg headed, crying baby are greeted by an older lady with an older lady helmet hairdo and a big smile. This is the Dress Consultant. The Bride To Be tells us to start helping her choose dresses for the dress consultant lady to gather up. Game on. I swear I picked out five really ugly ones that look like someone on Little House On the Prairie would wear and some Liberace inspired. I did this not thinking of how long it would take her to try them all on along with the several others selected from the group. Ughhhh. We sit down by the mirrors and quickly start texting, sexting, FBing, Instagramming. Anything, but communicating with each other. Bride To Be comes out in the first dress: "Oh, you look so SKINNY. You look like a princess. It makes your butt look perfect." She smiles we take pictures she looks in the mirror for ten more minutes and back into the dressing room for dress #2. BTB comes out in dress #2- Fuck, I already said all of the nice things I know to say to make a girl in a dress feel good about herself! I say them again just in a different order and tone.....UGH. At this point I really wish I hadn't picked out so many dresses for her to try on. Back to the dressing room she goes and so on and so on.... I am bored out of my mind and hating every second I am in this place. Then I hear a bell. It turns out every time a bride picks a dress they ring a damn bell. Like a car dealership! Being in sales I then try to tell each other girl in the store and her family what dress she should get and why. I even whisper words over and over again as they walk by like LACE DRESS LACE DRESS or DON'T GET IT, IT'S NOT THE ONE. Hoping it will sink into their heads and I can ring the bell. Well, 2.5 hours later I sadly never got to ring the bell, but I did get to piss off tons of people and be there for my dear friend. P.S. The restroom deserves a mention. It was disgustingly dirty and smelled of urine. Low and behold there was a disposable catheter in plain sight staring at me atop an overflowing trash can. They definitely need to remodel and clean the damn restroom. Ladies are trying on dresses valued anywhere from $99 to $3500. David if you are gonna have a bridal shop use some of that revenue to hire a cleaning lady. It's really gross! P.S. Deuce I hope my friend never reads this..... read more

BUYERS BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!! Save yourself the troubles and DO NOT shop here! I will pursue every outlook in order to get a refund/return on my UNTOUCHED, UNWORN, UNUSED dress. No one was clear on the "final sale" policy, nor the fact that it meant no returns. Although my rep, Ashley was wonderful and truly cared about my wants and needs in a dress, everyone else was AWFUL, RUDE & PUSHY; Including the "new manager". It is hard enough going through a break up and wedding cancellation, I shouldn't have to fight to get a refund on a product that has been untouched. read more

Shopping for a wedding dress is stressful. Hands down. I have heard people describe their wedding day as the best day of their life... Maybe that's because all the stress of shopping, planning, organizing, and putting out fires is OVER. After visiting 4 other bridal shops, I decided to visit David's. I brought a list of 10 dresses in with me... Caroline helped me. She was SO kind, soft spoken, and very helpful. It's hard for me to understand why this location has such poor reviews. Nothing like getting your dress the night before your wedding when it was supposed to be done days before. I was even called on the day it should have been done to come in a few hours later, which I could not do, so I came in when my scheduled time to pick up my dress was only to be told it wouldn't be done until the next day around 4. So I am curious how a few hours later on the same day it should have been done turned into it not being done at all that day. Just tell me that don't waste my time to come a few hours later when it wouldn't have been done anyways. I told them I could come in the day after that at 2. So it should have been done at 4 the following day, called in to be sure and of course it was not done. On my new day, day before the wedding, I get called telling me it is still not done and to come in at 5. Nothing like stressing out the day before the wedding with no dress yet. Eventually it was done, tried it on, all seemed well until the day of when I am getting ready putting my dress on and a button falls off..... worst experience ever. Updated review after final dress fitting: I was greeted this time when I walked in, very friendly, and my appointment started on time. The seamstress there is very kind but something was not right with my dress. Only a week ago the top part that had already been altered, did not fit me at all, much too small. So either I ate my weight in chipotle everyday or it was touched again when it shouldn't have been, or the part the was taken in was done so without the affects of the top being taken into consideration. Regardless of either my miraculous weight gain ( I'm down a pound since last week) or just a lack of attention paid to my alterations, I had to take my dress immediately after to another seamstress who saw the issue right away. So now I'm out even more money. I have had such a poor experience and such drama with my dress that I almost resent it now. read more

I went in for my wedding dress alterations, and the whole team was terrific. They took my appointment on a day that they usually don't schedule alterations. I am happy they could accommodate me. The staff was friendly upon arrival. They answered my questions when it came to asking advice on undergarments. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. But I'm about to have my "Pretty Woman" moment.... On Dec. 23, 2011, my hubby & I went into a Davids Bridal in Henderson, NV, because we are renewing our vows. I was greeted at the door by a young lady that was sitting behind a table. After I advised her that we were renewing our vows, and I wanted to look at dresses she advised me that I was welcome to browse around but I wouldn't be allowed to try anything on. I was shocked. I asked the girl why and she stated that it was because they were under staffed and completely booked. What?! It's two days before Christmas. How can any retail outfit be understaffed? But I decided that it wasn't the poor girls fault that her management team was inapt. I still wanted to look around because I hadn't decided what type of dress to get yet and didn't have much more time to decide. As I was walking away from the girl at the table, I said to my husband "What a way to loose a sale". A different sales associate was walking by and in the middle of her being so overwhelmingly busy, decided to stop mid stride, turn around, and sharply snap at me that I couldn't try anything on because they were so busy with all of the people coming in from out of town to get married!". Did I Mention the store was completely empty? I quickly replied in the same respect that I don't believe I was talking to her, I was talking to my husband. It was at that point that we decided to leave and not return. For all either of those to ladies knew, I could have been in there to drop 10k on a Vera Wang. Although I wasn't, I also wasn't in the store for one of their famous $99 bridal gown sales. I found my perfect dress on line by a designer named Justin Alexander. It's number 8465. After doing a hunt for a store in town, I found that Bowties Tuxedo & Bridal Boutique is the only store in town who carries his gowns. I made an appointment, and I saw the dress as soon as I walked in. It was love at first sight. They didn't have the dress in my size, and I had to wait until Monday (it was Saturday) to see if the designers warehouse had my size. To make a long story short, the owner of the shop pulled her magic strings and had the dress drop ship straight from the manufacture to ensure that I would have the dress on time. After shipping the dress came to $1395.46. Thank you Bowties, your store and staff were wonderful!!! This is my pretty women moment. I will be writing a letter to corporate and sending a copy to the management team at that particular store. They work on commission from what I know... big mistake on their part. Huge! I'm certain to obtain nothing from it other than letting the store know that being rude to customers after turning them away only ensures the lose of the sale. It is going to take them selling a minimum of 11 $99 dresses to compensate for losing my sale. read more

An update thus far into my wedding gown and bridesmaids gown experience with David's Bridal. Basically this is a downgrade update. To begin with I did not mind DB's at first and went here as an "option" when I picked out my wedding dress. I just so happened to find my dress here. Therefore my bridesmaids are taking advantage of getting 20% off their dresses and we are coordinating the bridesmaids dresses here. After my first appointment, however, everything has gone downhill - fast. I am not going to write out a tangent of 14 paragraphs (which I could), but instead bullet point the continued problems: 1. E-mails to me about arrivals of things such as slips, bras, etc. I am emailed when they arrive, then I call to make the appointment to pick them up and then I am called not once, but twice by the inept sales people here asking me when I am going to pick up. Annoying, inconvenient to me, and ridiculous. 2. Seeing my personal "consultant" ONCE during the whole time I have picked out my dress, until now. If you're going to give me a personal consultant why aren't my appointments made to be sure she is there? 3. Bridesmaids dresses have been a nightmare. The styles of the dresses my bridesmaids ordered were NOT put into their system. Therefore when my bridesmaids went back in to actually ORDER the dresses, they had no idea which ones they needed/wanted! Also, one bridesmaid ordered a dress, and it was wrinkly as F&^% when she got it. I get it, sometimes things get wrinkly, but really? 4. All of my interactions with the people here (minus my "consultant" the FIRST time I went) have been forced and impersonal. 5. When I went in to pick up my dress the lady who was helping me seemed incredibly irritated I had forgotten to bring my own slip and bra. Um, sorry lady but I have a lot of shit going on. See the ring on my finger? I'm a BRIDE and I have BRIDE SHIT TO DO. Not to go all "bridezilla" but giving me grief over such a mundane issue should not happen. Overall I gotta say DB's is not so good and I would probably recommended going somewhere else for your bridal needs. But now I'm stuck with them and I can't wait to be done with them. read more

Couldn't be happier with my experience! Made a reservation online and they were all ready to receive us. Amber sat down with the bride and got all details necessary to make my sister find the perfect wedding dress. She helped her out with all the accessories too...was very honest and helpful. My sister did find the dress with vail and shoes that matched all perfect together! My initial review of this store would've been 1 star but their customer service on a corporate level was really good and my visit today with Latoya was excellent, she is friendly and professional and a pleasure to deal with! When I went in for my first visit I was told that they couldn't see me and I had to make an appointment which was okay but strange seeing as how there were a lot of employees and zero customers. It was fine and I went next door to Alfred Angelo where I was helped immediately even though they had customers. I decided to go back a few months later with an appointment since I was still 7 months out from my wedding and I wanted to see what other options were available. There were two Ashley's at the time and both were very professional and helpful, but I had no idea what I was looking for in a wedding dress so I had different styles picked out. Fluffy, not fluffy, mermaid, etc since I didn't know what looked good on my figure. Well 4 wedding dresses in and they told me that the dress I was trying on had to be my last dress since they had another customer coming in... Uh, what?! I hadn't even been there an hour. How is someone supposed to pick out THE dress in 45 min? I ended up buying my dress from another David's Bridal location. Finally, I went in to buy a Torsolette since the one I ordered from their website didn't arrive in time for my fitting because of a lost shipment. I was given a used, stained (although they cleaned it), Torsolette that I didn't realize was used until I went to my fitting and found pet hair in it.... Yay. I contacted corporate though and I was able to get a new one ordered today with Latoya and she was a pleasure to deal with. read more

We weren't planning on even looking at David's Bridal, but we loved a dress on a poster in the stores window so we made an appt. When we entered the store, we noticed the same dress was on a magazine cover in the store and on a huge hanging poster. Guess what? They don't carry the Dress. Are you kidding me ? Pamela tried her best, but my daughter had her heart set on that dress. Please don't highly advertise a dress and then not have it. You wasted my time. My daughters time. Let me start off by saying that I ended up buying my dress here, but it was no thanks to my stylist. A woman named Luella helped me as my stylist. She picked out a few gowns and acted annoyed the entire time. In addition to me, she was also helping another bride who was clearly spending more money. It showed in our service. My stylist would put me in a gown and then run to help the other bride. I'd be stuck in a gown in front of the mirror for minutes on end. Other stylists would walk by and talk with me because it was clear I was being left high and dry. One of the gowns the stylist had picked out was a winner, but it was in ivory and I wanted white. I asked Luella if I could get it in white and she assured me TWICE that I couldn't possibly get it by my wedding date. Well, another stylist heard this predicament, did some research and was able to order the dress in white, and suggested putting in a corset back since the white dress would likely be a tiny bit too small for me. My stylist was horrible. Terrible attitude. Terrible customer service. If it wasn't for her coworkers, they wouldn't have gotten my business. As it was, it was still a horrible experience. read more

Today I went for my first dress trial and fitting. Alicia and her manager were some of the most helpful and awesome individuals I could have hoped for. Not only did they help me find my perfect gown, but they also made sure I was getting what I wanted and not what my family and friends were pushing me toward. At the end of the visit, everyone was pleased with the outcome and I ended up getting the most incredible dress I could imagine for the day I marry my best friend. We got there 15 mins earlier then the appt and still took over 20 more minutes to be in the fitting room with her dress... This place was sooooo crowded and one of the sales associates was so rude and and would not help her customer and she just looked like she hated her job... I went to Henderson store today. I was in store for 10 minutes and was never acknowledged. I finally went up to the counter and asked for help. The woman took me to some dresses and left me. I then had to go ask if I could try on the dress. She gave me a fitting room. She then left me there. When I needed a different size I had to get dressed and go get a it myself. When I got the dress on I couldn't zip up the back to get out of the dressing room and look at myself in the mirror as there was no mirror in the fitting room. The fitting room was dirty. There were dirty footprints on the wall and it obviously had not had the floor vacuumed in some time.I liked the dress and my might have bought it had I gotten any help at all. It was all and all a poor experience and not at all what I expected from David's. read more

Went this week for a first time wedding dress appointment for my daughter. I thought that they would have taken her measurements to be able to pull dresses to her size. After pulling a few dresses Maddy went to work helping her to change into each dress and bring her out for us to see. She added a jeweled belt (several missing stones but put on dress for us to get idea) and a veil to make it look more presentable. I have to say that after trying on the seven dresses there was only one that really made my daughter happy because in reality there wasn't a single one that fit her well. All of them would have needed extensive alterations. I appreciated the fact that the Manager and another sales person helped and provided helpful hints for us to envision the final product but in all honesty none would have been a contender. After spending a couple of hours there we decided to keep the one dress in mind and head out to another dress appointment. I was disappointed and would be a little hard pressed to recommend David's Bridal to shop for a wedding dress as there are several options here in Las Vegas to choose from. I think the quality of the dresses is not the best, they looked tired and faded with many beads or jewels missing. I give the three stars for the ladies and they can only work with what they have on hand. read more

I'm came in originally with only 2 weeks to find a dress. The team here were amazing! They got me to try a dress that I didn't love on the hanger but loved once I put it on. Due to the time restraint I didn't have time to order the dress, I had to take it as is. Kat and the alterations team rushed to get it cleaned and altered. I came back a week later and it wasn't as clean as we hoped it be. Kat didn't hesitate to offer to clean it again to get it as white as possible. I ended up pushing the date back by a week and a half so we had more time. Everything turned out beautifully, thanks to Kat and her attention to detail! My aunt, cousin & I went in this Saturday afternoon to find bridesmaids dresses. First off, all the ladies were a pleasure! But Julie & Miah absolutely amazing!!! Julie helped us with trying on the dresses & girllll she was on it! Julie will have you looking snatched!!! those clips they put on if a dress is too big doesn't stand a chance against Julie. She gives you the full picture of what your dress will look like once altered! absolutely Loved her!! Miah was extremely helpful once it came to ordering the dresses and checking for delivery dates she was very patient & kind while we went back & forth on the decision making part! By far an AMAZING experience! Helping my sister find the wedding dress of her dreams could not be easier! Amber was SO helpful and attentive and made my baby sister feel like a princess. She did an amazing job figuring what she liked and didn't like and capturing the perfect look for my sisters BIG day! From the shoes and veil and other accessories Amber did a PERFECT job!! I highly recommend this David's Bridal but especially if Amber is working BOOK her!! She also helped me and my other sister the Maid of Honor find bridesmaids dresses which was not easy on such short timing but we did pick out the color and the MOH dress!! This was my 3rd visit to a David's Bridal in search of THE dress. When I entered the Henderson location, I was pretty sure I had already made my decision but I wanted to make sure and let my sisters see me in the dress. We were warmly greeted as we entered and introduced to our sales associate, Alicia C. She was friendly and helpful. My first visit at a different location out of state was a little too frilly and unfocused. My second visit was a bit gruff and greatly lacked personalization. This visit was just right. Although I came in to try on one specific dress, Alicia still helped me try on a few other dresses that could have been contendors. She was friendly, efficient and I felt very comfortable with her. Overall, I had a very good experience and would highly recommend DB, Henderson to any bride, bridesmaid, or wedding participant/guest. read more
