My friend is getting married soon so a few of us went to David's Bridal to try on wedding dresses. We had no appointment but on a Monday afternoon we were the ONLY customers there. We were greeted and the ladies in the front were very nice asking to get our future bride into a fitting room. While the bride and a friend was talking to the ladies in the front me and another friend went to go look in the clearance section at some dresses because we had a good general idea of size and look on what she wanted. As we're browsing we get yelled at by an older woman working there to go sit down in front of the fitting rooms and we had to stop looking at those dresses. Taken by surprise my friend and I followed her back to the fitting rooms and sat down. She sized the bride and then we saw her go right back to the section we were just at and pulled a few dresses from there. There were 4 girls there to help out and check in on our friend while she's going in and out of dresses but we were pushed aside and she was the only one allowed to push her way into the fitting room while she was changing. So we just sat there while she tried everything on and gave opinions on how we liked the dresses. Completely ruined our experience honestly. After asking 2-3 times if she had specific dresses like the one pictured below she kept bringing satin, no lace, tight dresses that we didn't like and it wasn't until the bride didn't try on the next dress and asked specifically for another one like that one she liked for the worker to say "oh I'm sorry there's no other ones beside that one, we could've ordered one but you waited for too long". And after that we decided to leave because those were the dresses we came looking for. After that I had to ask for permission to go browse the dresses on clearance which was always allowed as this was still a store and I asked for the size of the dress pictured. She responded with "it's a 10 and only the clearance ones on the back wall" this is where we were originally looking at in the very beginning of the process... Not sure if buying a dress from here is worth the hassle of the bad service and disrespect from the workers.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I had an incredibly disappointing and stressful experience at this David's Bridal location while ordering a bridesmaid dress. I know this review is long, but I would take the time to read it if you're considering coming here. What should have been a simple process turned into a mess of poor communication, body shaming, and outright dishonesty. I was measured in-store by Stephanie Martinez and told I was a size 0. When the dress arrived, it didn't fit anywhere--waist, hips, straps, or length. I was then told by the alterations associate, Lily, that it would cost $183.81 to alter the dress, nearly the cost of the $200 dress itself. This clearly shows I was either mismeasured or sold a size that was never going to fit me properly. (Reluctantly I paid for the alterations, since I need the dress to fit for my friend's wedding) Immediately after leaving the store, I called to express my concerns and see if anything could be done. When I got the chance to speak to a manager, Lindsey, she blamed my body--telling me "all bodies are different" and "bodies fluctuate"--instead of acknowledging a mistake. She also told me a general manager would follow up, but when I called back, I was told there is no general manager. I later received a call from Lindsey again, this time not identifying herself and pretending to be someone else. When I asked for help, she told me under no circumstances would I receive a refund--I could either go through with the alterations or pick up the dress, but my money was gone. Feeling defeated and under pressure, I agreed to the alterations, not wanting my money to be completely wasted. However, I decided I wanted to go somewhere else after this experience was so upsetting. I tried to cancel the alterations within 15 minutes, but I was told it was too late because the alterations had already started--another lie. I decided to come in that night with my sister-in-law, her parents, and my brother to see what alterations had been done. Juana, another manager, told me she would "just take the pins out" and then handed me the dress--clearly showing nothing had been done. When I had calmly asked to see the dress and asked if anything could be done to resolve the situation, Juana became extremely defensive. She accused my family of being "threatening," even pointing directly at my sister-in-law. She told me she would've worked with me if I had handled it differently--but if something could be done, why wasn't anything offered when I had asked calmly and respectfully for help multiple times over the phone? My family and I were nothing but polite and composed. Now, I have an unaltered dress that doesn't fit, and I've been charged for alterations that never happened. I was misled, pressured, and treated with blatant disrespect. Brides and bridal parties deserve better. Avoid this location at all costs.

Tania and Natalie saved my wedding!! My wedding is in 3 days and I went in today needing a new dress since I did not love my old dress anymore. I found just what I wanted and everything worked out perfectly! I was able to purchase it off the rack! Alterations are also helping with getting everything done in time and I am so grateful that they helped me through this nightmare! I get to pick up my dress the day before the wedding and I am just so happy now that I got this all settled! I had the best experience here when looking for my prom dress. I didn't have an appointment but it didn't take longer than 10 min for them to find me an specialist, Kimberly. She was the sweetest and had so much patience. She was extremely helpful and let me borrow some heels and jewelry to upgrade the look and help me decide. I tried on over 5 dresses and loved them all. Well we came into David's bridal today because they're awesome sale on dresses. What we found is the 99 dollar Dresses are quite nice so are the f$499 dresses are amazing. But when you get a bridal stylist such as Kolbie to help you with a trust me dress. You will find out that if you spend a little more you get A dream dress. My sister andI stopped by Davids Bridal in riverside this past Sunday. We didnt know we needed an appt. but fortunately they managed to fit us in. The girl helping us, (Katelynn Rodriguez was so helpful and nice. Added several touches that we hadn't thought of as actually found the dress that my sister ended up buying. She kept in mind all my sister's requests and her price point. Great experience read more

I visited David's Bridal, hoping for that "I've found my dress!" moment and I can happily say I found it! The staff was so friendly and my consultant, Katelynn, was so sweet! She was patient and attentive, adding accessories to give me the full bridal experience. With her help, I found the perfect dress to fit my style and budget. Garbage location. This was the most unprofessional and worst run David's Bridal I have ever seen. They were disrespectful, unwilling to help, downright rude and seemed to stink of a hint of discrimination when we came to get assistance for our big day. When asked to speak to management we were laughed at by the snotty clerk up front. I called and was placed on hold by the same horrible clerk. We will not use this company when moving forward with our wedding. Do yourself a favor and head to the Ontario/Rancho location and ask for Michael. Much more professional, attentive and respectful. Avoid this location on magnolia by the Tyler mall at all costs. read more

This review is for the alterations department only. So I'm a bride that got my wedding dress at Alfred Angelo, but after them closing I needed it altered. My bridesmaids got their dresses at David's, so I figured it would be a good place to get it done. My appointment was easy to make, they welcomed me in even though I didn't get the dress from there, but once I arrived Brianna helped me with the fitting for alterations. She was nice, but nothing over the top, my sister was with me, and all she could talk about was how cute my sisters outfit was, and seemed like she was up selling me with alterations like crazy. I needed my dress let out, which I knew, and a bra sewn into it, but she wanted to shorten it, bustle it, etc, and when i told her I didn't want all of that done, she wasn't too thrilled. She didn't make me feel very Bridal, but it got the job done. Letting it out and sewing in the bra, cost me $260. I also ended up buying a slip for underneath and it was $80. Picking it up was a better experience then dropping off, but later once I took my dress home, I realized they didn't even finish sewing my dress. The lace around where they let it out wasn't sewn down all the way, it about 4 different spots, and my aunt had to see it to fix it. My bridesmaids had a good experience with their dress. But I feel like when you're the bride they need to cater to you, and do what you pay them to do! I won't go back.... read more

10/10 recommend! Our party went for a bridesmaid appointment and fitting. Due to COVID, it was appointment only, masks mandatory, preferred party of 4 or less, 6 dresses for each bridesmaid, and approximately 1 hour session. Social distancing was enforced and the shop was clean. Very easy to book an appointment online. The hour was surprisingly more than enough time given their selection and hands on team. The whole team was so wonderful and helpful from start to finish, especially Noelany, our personal stylist! She made us feel so comfortable and confident; and made our whole experience effortless and enjoyable! We can't wait to place our final order and go back for final alterations read more

Made an appointment for my daughter to tet on wedding dresses her wedding is in November 2020. And upon our arrivle we were greeted promptly and we were told we could browse and that our stylist Ashley would be with us right away. She was not pushy and wanted to know what our budget was and advised us were to look and told us she would be right back she had to greet her other client and she was goibg set up a dressing room for my daughter Jordan. She should us to our dressing room and that she asked my daughter what her style was she was looking for and pulled dresses for us but us hung the ones we found as well. She was very attentive and patient and she made my daughter feel special. She pulled accessories to help pull of the look. We couldn't believe we had found the dress, shoes, and veil in one day. My daughter said yes to the dress and we could not be more happier. Thank you Ashley for a wonderful experience we will never forget. read more

Shout out to the evening crew at David's Bridal in Riverside! I first met with Mia who was really personable. She suggested a different style of dress which surprisingly looked good on me. I didn't buy a dress that night because I wanted my whole family at the appointment. My second appointment, Latisha and evening manager Yesenia helped me out. Latisha was so patient with my parents' picking so many dresses out! Eventually, I tried on the dress from my first appointment and Latisha and Yesenia offered me a great deal that we all could not say no to. I said yes to the dress thanks to these ladies! They were super sweet and made the whole experience awesome. read more

I was a walk-in with my bridesmaid with the intention of looking at BM dress options. Next thing I knew, I was looking at wedding gowns (my very first time!) I didn't have but an hour to look around, but I was signed in and talking with consultant Megan within minutes. I told them I've always dreamed of wearing a ball gown. She pulled out two, including undergarments and a veil. The ladies were helpful and kind even though I didn't have a scheduled appointment. Megan crated a wishlist on my profile with everything I liked for future reference. I'm looking forward to scheduling an appointment and going back with my wedding party. read more

If you want to instantly be insulted (within 10 minutes) this is the place to go. I was instantly told I only had 60 minutes (period). Then after showing her exactly what I wanted she told me THATS NOT "IN" AND NO ONE LIKES THAT!!! I'm beside myself right now..... I am going down the street and paying $3,000 for a dress that's gorgeous and a staff that welcomed me warmly. Davids bridal should do a better job training their staff!!! ADDITIONAL INFO: After writing this review the rude sales associate I encountered at David SD Bridal sent me a nasty message on yelp directly! This place is a joke. She needs to be fired! I'll be sending in a formal complaint to corporate. read more

My Bridal Appointment was AMAZING. I had Chanelle Haynes as my consultant and she definitely went above and beyond for me. Not only help me find my Dream Wedding Dress... but she made me feel super comfortable as if I was shopping with one of my Friends! She educated me on all the styles and Ultimately, I picked out a beautiful Ballgown with her help. She even picked out a few that she thought would compliment me and they did! First I want to thank Colbie for an unforgettable experience! I walked in hoping I would find my dream wedding dress but also didn't want to settle. I tried on about 5 dresses prior to "the one" I was feeling very discouraged but she saved the best for last! When I walked out of the dressing room I looked in the mirror and I immediately began to cry happy tears! I knew in that moment that this was the one and everyone began to cry happy tears. Next step we picked out bridesmaids dresses! We tried 3 one and bam found the perfect dress! I would highly recommend Colbie and David's Bridal to anyone! Amazing service!!! Ivlin and Lucy in alterations are miracle workers! I came in with my dream dress that was a little snug in the hips but they assured me it will fit perfectly for my wedding in May! They explained everything they were doing and made sure it was exactly what I wanted before they moved onto the next thing. Lily in alterations also peeked out to see the dress and made me feel like the most beautiful bride she'd ever seen and made me so comfortable with her hilarious sense of humor! Annabelle helped me pick out the perfect veil and sash and made me feel like we had been best friends for years! Carolina and Tania, the managers, came back and again made me feel so beautiful and encouraged! They are SO SWEET!!! When Annabelle had to get back to another client, Allison, a newer stylist was just as sweet and helpful! I can already tell she was absolutely meant for this job! 10/10 service! If you need any encouragement (especially after COVID weight gain) this is the place to go! Everyone is amazing, sweet, and professional! I wish I could give 20stars!!! Ok so be prepared to READ!!!! First off I just want to thank David's Bridal for making my whole dress shopping experience such a breeze. All the girls were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. Tanya was the one I believe I made my purchase with! My stylist was Jacqueline, and my alterations specialist was Romana (roman? I'm so sorry I forgot!). They were both so KIND with me. I'm a very shy and timid girl and I have a lot of self confidence issues but the whole journey with them I did not feel self conscious at all! Jacqueline helped me pick the PERFECT dress for my wedding reception after quite a few trial and error. (She let me try on like 10 dresses ppl that's GENEROUS!) I had a really small budget of 300 for everything including accessories and I was able to get everything I wanted. After alterations off course and your undergarments and veil you spend maybe double of your dress but it's so worth it to have the piece of mind. After finding the dress we made an appointment right away for a fitting considering my wedding is next month. Maria and Romana did everything possible to make this dress perfect for Me. I am eternally grateful for their patience and kindness. I only had one Bridesmaid with me so the Davids bridal team definitely helped fill in the gap when we chose the dress and fitted the dress!Romana was very gentle when pinning the dress and was not aggressive at all which I've hear stories about other salons that are like that. She did the best she could to save me money in alterations knowing my budget and not being judgmental at all. Maria was even able to throw in one last alteration after looking at everything with my mom. This team is one of he best Davids bridal I've ever worked with and I hope they set an example for future stores to follow suit. This experience can definitely be scary but the Riverside team is doing it right! I cannot express enough how happy I am with everything! The only sad thing was the Betsy Johnson Blue line for shoes is online only so that shipping took awhile and they stopped the military discount :( but it's ok we still hit budget. I cant say enough about especially one employee that works at this location. Her name is Rony. I cant think of one word to describe her she is absolutely amazing. I am actually wearing my mothers gown in my wedding, FYI this gown is 32 years old but absolutely gorgeous, so now you are thinking what was I doing at this store? ... well my brother is getting married in march and my wedding is in November and I am a brides maid in my brothers wedding. Rony was the first person I met at this Davids Bridal and I don't ask for anyone else but her. She made me feel like the most important person in the world she goes above and beyond customer service to make sure that you are completely satisfied on what you want. She never tries to push you into buying anything for no reason but she always makes sure you never make a mistake on buying the wrong thing to go with your gown or the way something may fit. She is honest, has an amazing personality and I am always excited when I go to this davids bridal because number 1 I get to catch up with her lol,,, and number 2 I know I will walk out with exactly what I want, I will be happy with it, and I will have a great experience. Weddings alone are stressful and maybe not everyone can have such an amazing experience as I did but if you read this, just give Rony a chance because maybe if you might not find exactly what you want you will probably want to go back to get anything to go with your dress because Rony is just that awesome. I came to David's Bridal 3 times. From my first experience, Susanne was my bridal consultant and she did above and beyond what I could've asked for! She hustled and listened to the details I asked for, and didn't act impatient or annoyed if I couldn't decide or didn't like the dresses after I got them on. Instead she ran for the next, feeling confident she could find the perfect match. My second experience was when I came to pick up my dress and set an appointment with alterations. I was concerned with adding to my dress and the woman at the front desk (don't remember her name) and a woman from alterations named Genesis were more then helpful and reassured me that they would be able to help me make my dress perfect! They even took me back to alterations to show me some options even though it wasn't my alterations appointment yet! When coming back for my appointment with alterations I felt like I had to shop again for a different dress that already had the alterations that I wanted included. Susanne was my bridal consultant again, and she once again exceeded my expectations! She encouraged me when I said that I was feeling overwhelmed, and even made comments that she was glad that I was smiling during moments that I would laugh. It made me feel like she cared about my experience with the company and not only that but with her as an associate of the store. I would recommend booking with Susanne. So I had the best experience at this davids bridal it was worth the drive for me from Temecula.I originally went to a different store a while back and found a dress that looked good so I bought it but then I gained a lil weight and it didn't fit so I was frustrated and didn't know what to do because I knew they didn't do returns so I ended up talked to Jessica when I called this store in riverside and she made me feel so much better and how I could come in and they would figure it out for me, which they did and more. I can't explain to everyone enough how helpful and amazing they were especially the three woman that helped me Tania the store manager and Jessica the assistant manager was awesome and I can't forget the woman who helped me find my dress and try them on Katy she was new but definitely a big help. The alterations woman was an expert and they gave me there honest option and helped me through the process as well they gave me the picture that I wanted on how I would look on my special day. I came to this location with my MOH because she wanted to take advantage of the sale that was ending. Neither of us knew that we needed an appt. Oops, honest mistake. They got us in, no problem, it was fine. My MOH tried on her dress, it was perfect, she bought it. BUT the stylist started hounding ME about not having tried on a dress. I did not want to try on a dress that day. I didn't have the people there that I wanted to be there, I was not in the correct headspace, i didn't have my hair or makeup done, I just wasn't there for me that day, I wasn't prepared. So the stylist started lecturing myself and and my MOH, "Youre the MOH how can you NOT have made her try on a dress yet?!" She stressed me out, so I grabbed a few, tried them on and it was not the feeling that I hoped for when trying on a wedding dress, it wasn't fun. She just kept pressuring me and I didn't like it. The two at the welcome desk, Ashley and Annie were so friendly and welcomed me right in. and the manager Jesenia (im so sorry if i misspelled that) was so dedicated in searching to see if the dress I loved could be ordered. I just had to write a good review because there were some ladies in the store that were not very nice and if they leave something mean I want to combat that. The stylists do have to work with more than one customer at a time but that did not change their service at all. I just wanted to say thank you to the staff at the Riverside David's Bridal, especially Katie B. On my first day of wedding dress shopping I had an appointment at a different bridal salon... it was awful. They were understaffed, the dresses were poor quality and the service was less than ideal (sitting for 30 minutes in a dressing room while the only 2 staff stood around gossiping). My sister calle daround and was able to find an appointment at David's Bridal. From the minute I walked in they were attentive, listened to my needs and made suggestions that helped me decide what I wanted, not what they wanted. my daughter and I were in there on Saturday September 3, 2016. We had a young lady assigned to helping us chose our dresses for my sons wedding. Her name was Kolbie, she was very sweet and patient with my daughter and myself. We both came in there feeling a little insecure but Kolbie quickly turned that around and made us feel welcome and comfortable as we tried on dresses. She showed me alot of different types of dresses and took them to the fitting room for me while I got dressed she would go and also help other people. She pulled out a few dresses for me that she thought would be beautiful on me and I really like one especially but I ended up walking out of there with the very dress I first initially looked when we started to look around. I had decided against that dress at first cause I thought I couldn't afford it but then Roni talked me into running my credit for a David Bridal credit card and low and behold she was right and I walked out there with my dream dress. Came in to Davids Bridal to look at prom dresses with my daughter, (I'm a single Father) So I was out of my elimite to say the least, We signed in and was told Roni would be with us shortly, so we started looking around and found a few dresses we liked, Roni came over and greeted us, As a father I voiced my concerns about the dresses I was ok with, Roni put me at ease and showed us a few more dresses, My daughter tried on a few and we finally found one we both agreed on, Roni was extremely help full and made us feel very comfortable, my all around review is that this is a very good store, managed well with trained staff , people like Roni and the other staff made this a easy shopping experience for us and We thank you Kyle read more

Came in with my friend last week who's a bride but we are looking for my dress and we're greeted by brittney. Started off ok, told us someone would be over, but after we were sent into the dresses for about 15 minutes of wandering without help I went to the front where her and another employee were talking about other staff. I let the bride know that we wouldn't be getting much help because they'd rather stay up front and we should find somewhere else to look with better service. I get being upset about coworkers but when you're suppose to be helping someone you probably should stop talking when they walk up. We won't be returning. We went across the street and were given better attention. read more

I went in to David's Bridal on August 20, 2015 and I said YES to the dress! Faizah helped me find the perfect dress! She was extremely helpful and enthusiastic! Faizah was patient and took the time to figure out what I wanted to wear on my big day. She had a great personality and made me feel comfortable. She even got veils and shoes for me to try on to help give me the "full look." It was a wonderful experience and I recommend that anyone who goes there makes an appointment with Faizah! I might also add that I got my dress on sale (I had twelve hours left to order for sale price) and it was an absolute win! Thank you Faizah and thank you David's Bridal! read more

Love this place! It was a last minute wedding and I came in as a very undecided bride, found Raymond Zachary, who help me get to the gown that i absolutely love he was patience and try his best to provide me with different gowns that came close to what I was looking for And found it. Then, for alterations Lani Nguyen she went beyond just fixing my dress but make me feel confident the dress was getting fix and was going to get done right .... and it did ! she took the time to make sure I was 100% satisfied. My consultant was Roni! she was really nice, friendly and very helpful. she actually picked my bridesmaids dress. i had a great experience here. my consultant knew what she was doing and she also gave me more choices to pick than the ones i had in mind and thanks to Roni we picked a bridesmaid dress. davids bridal from ontario it has a really bad service, the consultant i had in the other store had like two or three more brides and she was never with me giving me choices.. so i recommend you to go to davids bridal in Riverside they have great consultants and they are very welcoming. ask for RONI she's a great person and she knows her stuff. read more

I had an appointment today at 3pm a young lady named Brooke was my bridal dress consultint and she was awesome... Treated me with great customer service and it was so good.. My mother and best friend who are gonna needs dresses also wanted her card.. Brooke made me feel like I was special and worked with me every step of the way... I'm not a small person and she still made me feel like I was a princess.. I had a way better time here than one of those places at the mall... I do have another appointment in L.A. but I am sure I'll be back for that dress #2... Thank you again Brooke for making my day youre an awesome person.. read more

This David's Bridal is amazing. Everyone is so helpful and they have a great dress selection. I went to another David's Bridal and they did not have the dresses I wanted to try on. I am glad it didn't work out because my experience at the Riverside David's Bridal was amazing (like you see in the movies)! The store manager (Tina Montoya) was very sweet and helpful. Stephanie was also very personable and wanted to make sure I was walking out of there with my dream dress. The alterations manager (Ivlin) even helped so that I knew I was ordering the right size dress. I highly recommend going to this David's Bridal! read more

Today I had an extremely disappointing experience with the customer service at Davids Bridal in Riverside. The representative I spoke with, Juana, was incredibly rude, threatening, and disrespectful. Instead of addressing my concerns in a professional manner, they resorted to aggressive behavior and made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable, and I am genuinely disappointed with the level of customer service I received. I hope that the management takes this matter seriously and ensures that other customers do not have to endure similar mistreatment. read more
