Wow amazingly good. Home fries, loaded with veggies and great seasoning. Veggie omelette was packed and really good too. Prices are reasonable, and service was good and friendly. We came here for a friend's bachelorette pre-celebration so a bit out of my usual way, but I would definitely try it again and would recommend it to others. If you area and need breakfast please try it!! Lunch looks good too.

American Patriots! Not only the best diner I've ever visited, these guys are true Americans. The restaurant is adorned with flags and eagles and patriotic themed. Touted as in the top 5 in America. It was busy as expected and they have coffee and a heated tent outside to wait in.. it's worth the wait.. Eat there.

I went to David's for the first time with my friend who frequents the diner. She told me ahead of time that the portions are hearty and the sausage is homemade. They had a decently sized breakfast menu with plenty of side options to add on if you'd like. I definitely want to try some of their pancakes the next time I'm over there. Our server notified us of the morning special which consisted of one piece of French toast, 2 eggs your way, and either sausage or bacon. Hmmm, decisions decisions... I went with the veggie omelette and added on a side of sausage. The diner is small but cozy. Our server was quick and friendly. All of the servers stayed on top of my coffee cup, ready to pour at the sight of it only being half full. Our food arrived and I simply didn't know where to start. My omelette came with home fries and FOUR pieces of toast. I was full but definitely wanted to keep eating as everything was really tasty.

This place was great. Kind, nice people working. Fast service and great food. I stopped by when visiting Pittsburgh. I had the ray rays trash plate. Eggs, bacon and home fried smothered in chili. It was wonderful. Potatoes cooked perfect with a little crispness. Eggs and bacon perfectly cooked. The chili was good. Not what I expected but very good. Try it!!?

Great little friendly place with wonderful staff. Had the country fried steaks and egg. The homemade gravy with those chunks of sausages were awesome. Located along the river with a nice scenic drive to get here.

David's diner does not disappoint. I swear we just got done ordering what we wanted for breakfast and I blinked and our breakfast came!! I love everything.. crisp bacon, ham and the jalapeno corn bread!! I like the coffee too. The water had a after taste to it.. I remembered that from last visit. It must just be the water filtration system. It wasn't bad but just noticeable. Thanks David's diner.. we will be back !

This locally owned and operated spot is located in the River Town Shopping Center at 148 Allegheny River Boulevard, Freedom Square Diner is a staple for locals in Verona, and the whole area. They opened in 2013, expanding from its original Cranberry Township location, and has since carved out a niche by focusing on breakfast and lunch with a warm, community-centered approach that works. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxed and the cozy coffee counter near the entrance adds to the charm. The place is busy but still friendly and familiar, I mean I love a diner vibe ! The menu is extensive and IMO breakfast is the star of the show, with standout items like the Create Your Own Omelette, the Hungryman Breakfast off a nice spread of eggs, bacon, pancakes, and home fries, that's what Matt O. had and he's now a fan. I had the Nutella French Toast that was like a homage to Elvis with bananas, strawberries and lots of sweet goodness, it was special! I also got a side of sausage gravy and biscuit to share, and these Yinzers actually nailed this Southern favorite. For lunch, the Whale of a Fish Sandwich is a big favorite here, it's hand-breaded haddock on a hoagie roll with tartar sauce and fries. Other popular dishes include the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy, the Steak Salad with garlic-marinated filet, and the Mushroom Swiss Burger with crispy fries. They even have Homemade clam chowder, I will definitely scope that out on my next visit. The diner has wheelchair-accessible entrances, outdoor dining, takeout, and offers a veterans discount, gotta love it! Bottom line: Whether you're craving a hearty breakfast, a nostalgic lunch, or just a good cup of coffee in a welcoming setting, Freedom Square Diner delivers. Good food, great service in a welcoming environment, it's highly recommended!!! Hours: Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The food was exceptional as always. I ordered the chicken parmesan topped with fresh mozzarella, and it was absolutely delicious. We also added a crab cake, which was flavorful and perfectly prepared. My husband's steak was cooked exactly as ordered and seasoned to perfection. Even though we were full, we decided to splurge on dessert, and it was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. What keeps us returning is the consistency. My mom and dad had the lamb which they raved about and said was very good. We shared the shrimp macaroni and cheese, and it had a very overwhelming flavor of egg. It was offputting. We did a side of potatoes and I did not like them. It's a cute restaurant in a cool location but the food takes absolutely forever and the menu is limited. Service was lovely. That's really where they got their stars. I just cannot emphasize enough that everything moves very, very slow slowly here.

By no means was it bad but it was definitely not as good as the event. A ham and apple sandwich was good very light so don't be too hungry if you order it or maybe order a extra side of something I enjoyed the apple I feel like it really added to the sandwich. The scramble was all right, not necessarily my taste, but there was nothing exclusively wrong with it. The bread tasted really fresh though. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie as a sweet treat to go, however, I didn't finish it because it was dry and lack flavor. The reason it's getting four stars instead of three is definitely the ambience being able to enjoy my meal in the greenhouse is definitely the biggest flex they have. It's so beautiful and even though it was a cold day, I was good. I did see that they have blankets in case it's extra cold for your convenience which I appreciated. I would come back for the ambience of the greenhouse and giving the food one more try before I strictly go for greenery.
