Blue crab benedict with cheesy grits
    Eric T.

Wow, what a great breakfast! Delicious blue crab Benedict with cheesy grits, wonderful pancakes, many egg dish selections, and good coffee. Lunch menu looks amazing with unique sandwiches, salads and other specialities. Desserts are homemade and look very tasty. Will have to come back and try lunch. Service was spot on with courteous staff. Dining area was tastefully decorated, definitely a popular place as there was a slight wait to be seated.

Daybreak Cafe was an amazing breakfast restaurant! I came here with my family, and was served by an amazing and lovely waitress named Kelly. The bacon, eggs, pancakes, potatoes, and french toast were all spot on. Environment was neat, and organized. Would give 6 stars if it was an option!

First time at this cafe! The lox bagel was really good, the salmon pieces were super thick and fresh. The sauce on top was really good, maybe a bit too much lettuce but I just took some off. Service was good. I wish they had an espresso machine here, no lattes available.

Cheesesteak omelette and I can't remember the name of my sandwich (turkey, sprouts, other good stuff).

We had lunch at the new restaurant just down the road. Good food, good coffee, friendly servers. The only nitpicky complaint is the lack of atmosphere, so don't dine here if you want someplace romantic. Their sandwich selection is different and creative. We'll definitely be back!

    Veggie omelette with home fries!

Wow! Best omelette and pancakes I've ever had! Fresh ingredients, great service. I cannot recommend more!

They were super busy but the service was on point. Food came out hot and everyone enjoyed their meal. Had the B.E.L.T on sourdough bread.

Honest the goodness fresh food served with a smile. Excellent options for breakfast or lunch. Portions are perfect size and the food is very tasty. It gets very busy for breakfast and you can expect to possibly have to wait for a table. Open eating area that can get a bit noisy.

Their chalkboard. 'All home-made' was true for biscuits at breakfast; brioche rolls at lunch.

very good food and terrific service; so good for breakfast we came back for a lunch/dinner during their last hour (3-4pm). Not fancy, but spotless and with large windows showing off all the crepe-myrtles. Brioche rolls accompanied the excellent seafood dip. The Reubens were perfect.

I am more than excited to find this gem of a restaurant 10 minutes from my house! They have only been open since April of this year and not sure why I'm just finding them now but so grateful I did! The atmosphere, food, people and servers (thank you, Mark! You were awesome) I met this morning were outstanding. Their approach to food is "no boxes, no cans, just REAL food". The owner has put his passion in this place and it shows! Can't wait to come back again and again!!

There was a wait time to be seated, etc. etc. it was a little disappointing, but we did not stay. Thankfully we found this little gem. Breakfast was phenomenal here and I plan on making another stop on my way up to Ocean City next time. Customer service was great. They do treat you like family.!!! so thank you IHOP for being a disappointment because now I will always stop here for breakfast if I make the trip to the ocean!!! Six years later we still make it a point to stop in at least once (but typically multiple times) on our annual Selbyville vacation. I was here just once this year. I met my dad and uncle (who visited way too many times to count) after fishing. The bartender had a Crush on the bar waiting for me when I arrived. I ordered Wings, and since it was happy hour, $1 Chicken tacos. Both the wings and tacos were great, especially the tacos for $1 each. The wings were your classic Buffalo Wings; well done & crispy. Chicken tacos were moist and flavorful, and were served with onions, cilantro, radish, and lime. This wasn't the first time I've had Yellowfins Wings (we get them nearly every time we come, they're that good) but it was the first time I've had their happy hour tacos. Both my mom and I recommend them and would definitely order again. Other must orders are the cheesesteaks and the tuna nachos!! One of the things we love most about Yellowfins is the small town, local vibe. There are always familiar faces at the bar every time we visit, year after year. Since it's tucked into a small shopping center a little farther inland compared to many other local bars & establishments, it would be easy to drive right past it--but don't. If you've never been, it's absolutely worth the stop. The fact that we keep coming back year after year, along with so many regulars, says everything you need to know.

Where to begin......beef on a stick and chicken on a stick apps....both overcooked so bad that I can only assume the chef went outside for a smoke break while they were submerged in old cooking oil. 1 bite of each and into the trash. Kung Pao Chicken - I asked for white meat and just peanuts and scallions. I was told "no" because that would require "too much chicken" in the dish if he couldn't load it up with other veggies. We settled on just onions. It was like eating chicken in soy sauce water. No flavor, chicken was chewy and gross. Into the trash. The pan fried dumplings - store bought dumplings that were cheap and had no flavor. At least these were edible, but I could only manage 3 before they too went into the garbage. Bad enough so far? Here's the worst part. Hot and Sour Soup - was so thick and coagulated you could literally cut it with a knife. And it was hot, making it even more disgusting. My son tried it and immediately got up to spit it out and go brush his teeth. I literally spooned some out and it sat in my bowl like it was a flan. I've never seen anything like it. Straight to the trash. And finally, you can't mess up fried rice, right? WRONG. We opened the container and the rice had a grey color I've never seen in food before. See attached picture. I studied it up close because I was so curious how another human would "cook" that and send it out the door with a customer. I refused to even try a bite it was so nasty. How this place remains open is a mystery. This was top 3 worst dining experiences ever. Shame shame China Chef.

We received a basket of warm bread basket that included dinner rolls, zucchini bread and corn pudding bread all were good and fresh. I had a cup of their Vegetable Beef soup and it was truly full of vegetables and flavorful. I then choose the meatloaf special, my go to diner entree. It came with two sides. They have a large selection of sides. I choose the house made mashed potatoes and the beet salad(pickled). Gravy accompanied both meat and potatoes. I have to admit and picture shows it , the gravy doesn't look like much but it actually is tasty. The meatloaf was a huge portion and flavored nicely. It was pretty much all beef. I enjoyed a meatloaf sandwich for lunch the next day with my leftovers. The mashed potatoes were creamy homemade. The beet salad was nicely pickled and not overpowering. My dinner companion had the ham steak with pineapple accompanied with mashed sweet potatoes and cottage cheese with fruit. The ham steak was thick cut and huge and tasted really good. She had leftovers as well. She enjoyed it! The only thing she didn't eat was the grapefruit sections in the fruit topped cottage cheese. I wanted to try their bread pudding but they had run out. But I was given the chance to try something else, their pies included a chocolate meringue. I had never heard of that before, next time gonna try it. It was good comfort food with friendly efficient service. My party of three enjoyed their choices and we all agreed we would be back.
