Service was great and prompt; Steve checked on us often and always made sure our glasses were full. We ordered the Fritto Misto ($12.99) as an appetizer; it is a mix of fried calamari, shrimp, zucchini, red bell peppers, and artichoke hearts. We said my husband is allergic to artichokes and Steve was able to talk the kitchen staff and they accommodated by removing the artichokes and adding extra calamari. The shrimp was delicious! For our main course, we ordered the Filet & Shrimp Toscana ($29.99). This dish is fettuccine w/ spinach and mushrooms, tossed in a roasted garlic cream sauce, sliced filet, and wood-grilled shrimp. The filet was perfectly cooked medium rare. Steve let us know they were out of mushrooms and offered us peas instead. Carrabba's currently has a promotion of $10 take home entree for dine in only. We ordered the two Tuscan-Grilled Pork Chops w/ Penne Pomodoro and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. It was a lot of food to take home! Shoutout to Steve and the kitchen staff who worked on July 17, 2026! Wasn't completely busy and we were the first ones at the desk until finally somebody come over and said have you been helped yet took much longer than usual and it wasn't like the hostess was seating anybody! Someone should've covered for her! The waitress was nice but bland! Never got the extra bread that I wanted after we finished those small little loaf! That was definitely a negative! First time at a Carrabba's and though I only had the Happy Hour menu items, I really enjoyed it! Sat down at the bar and they have a fairly large HH menu. I started with a draft Peroni and calamari. A lot of calamari for $8 and it was peppery and crispy. The lemon butter sauce with banana peppers was odd at first since I never had this combo, but I seemed to keep going back to it. I then ordered my first espresso martini and it won't be my last. In fact, I ordered another right away! Creamy sweet and delicious! I tried their mezzaluna fritte and didn't care for it. Didn't really taste any chicken and it was just okay. I did ask for a side of the bread and with their herb mixture and olive oil, fluffy warm bread, it was a perfect end to a fried meal. My wife and I like the Bar menu $7 small bites, always excellent. $3 Peroni and Mezzaluna bites, a toasted version of the Mezzaluna pasta dish, 6 pieces with the sundried Tomato sauce, so good. My favorite is the Vegetable Focaccia Bread, toasted with zucchini and red peppers over goat cheese, insanely good. Mix in a side Caesar salad and the Sausage Lentil soup and that's more than a meal. Carrabba's is absolutely amazing. Our favorite waitress is Casey. She's a rockstar and most of the others are great servers as well. The food is always exceptional. We have our favorites but we're branching out a little bit and what we had tonight was the salmon topped with crab and shrimp absolutely amazing and they're serving sizes are large so we are able to split a meal I would highly recommend it to anyone that's looking for a great dining experience with wonderful service. On 5/16, we were served by an older gentleman named Geanii, according to our receipt. We've lived here for six years and have dined at this restaurant regularly -- at least three times a month. Until today, we have always received excellent customer service and truly enjoyed our experiences here. Unfortunately, today's visit was very disappointing. From the moment we were seated, our server appeared completely uninterested in serving us. His attitude throughout the meal felt cold, dismissive, and disrespectful. We noticed a clear difference in the way he interacted with other guests in his section. He smiled, waved, engaged in conversation, and asked if they were celebrating anything special -- treating them with the warmth and attentiveness every customer should receive. In contrast, our table received minimal interaction. We were never offered refills, checked on properly, or treated with even basic friendliness. The experience became so uncomfortable that we simply wanted to leave. As loyal customers who have consistently supported this restaurant, this experience was both surprising and upsetting. We hope this issue is addressed, because we would hate for anyone else to feel the way we did during today's visit. read more

Carrabba's has been one of our favorite places to eat for well over 20 years now! Some of my favorites; Chicken Bryan, Mezzaluna (love this ravioli style pasta), Chicken Sicilian Soup, House Salad with creamy Parmesan: the fettuccini Alfredo is a great side (if you're not concerned with calories)... otherwise, the broccoli and asparagus are also good veggie choices. A loved dish that they no longer serve - Talapia Nocciola! Even after they first took this off their menu , I could sometimes ask for and if there was a chef there that remembered it, they would still make it for me or something very close depending on the ingredients they had on hand. Also, don't skip out on the complimentary bread with olive oil & fresh herbs - yummo!! read more

Haven't been in years so i brought my parents here for their lunch menu. (trying to keep my parents away from crowds due to so much flu going around). Our service was top notch. The place was spotless a very inviting. Food was nothing special but portion size was very good. Dad got the Shrimp Scampi, that was very good. I would like to come back and try some of those gorgeous sounding desserts and coffees. We didn't feel rushed or pushed to pay the check like most restaurants. Save me some dessert! read more

Genuinely one of if not the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant! I was by myself so granted I was by myself so I probably wasn't much of a priority for my server. But I had to ask for more water the first time I ran out the second time I gave up. I ordered some of that goat cheese macaroni and got less than half of a serving (like that was acceptable?) brought my food out wrong the first time. The only thing I can say was good was the bread and the decor. Overall not worth the money, over priced for what it is. read more

Nothing like a summer menu and local favorite ... Let's get in to it! I mean, i'm not sure what everyone else craves when they come but I always love the summer menu additions and of course the signature seasoning, and olive oil and the warm baked bread! A complete addiction for someone who normally doesn't eat bread eat bread any other time... I'm going to eat it when I come here But... I digress ‍ Slight shade on the salad ...I don't know about you, but if I'm paying for a salad in a restaurant, I want it to have a little pizzazz. Unfortunately, Caesar was a bit lack luster definitely lacking the pizzazz. It is literally kind of soggy romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese and Ceasars dressing. Say what you want but A little better presentation could go a long way. on the other side of news, I do happen to like their Caesar dressing. It's very robust and flavor creamy, and always win. Next up, the watermelon summertime spritz with Vodka darn near tasted like Kool-Aid. It was so good.. but trust by the last sip I was fully aware this was no KIDS cocktail Not too heavy and a must try before they move it off the menu. I also decided to try another addition to their summer menu, which is the Filet, spinach & shrimp.. For starters, there is one thing I hate to do and that is in my food in a restaurant... however I asked for my steak cooked to medium as you can see it was well done and there was literally 5 pieces of small steak and the shrimp was rushed and uncooked the pasta was a bit dry and needed more sauce.... I actually hate sending Food back to the kitchen, but in this case, I opted to speak with my waitress she was very kind and had it remade. As for the remake, it came out better, and the favor was good and very filling. Little bit of a side eye but meh we'll work with it. if you want to try a couple of their new summer specials, there is the fillet caprice he which is sliced would grill fillet served of tomatoes, red onions, fresh basil, in a creamy seasoned Burrata with grilled prosciutto and mozzarella wrapped asparagus! Yummy Another one is the crab and shrimp Florentine, prosciutto, wrapped pork tenderloin, and each one of these also comes with a featured wine pairing one is the Cabernet Sauvignon the other is a Sauvignon Blanc, and the last is a Pinot noir. If you're a foodie snob like me, I absolutely love menus that offer a nice wine pairing, even if it is a local chain restaurant. Last but not least if you are a sweet tooth head like me, you're in for a treat because berries and butter cake is back back in the Day they used to have some thing called A cake de rosa (I think that was the name) which was kind of like a strawberry short cake with whip cream, but so much better this is very similar. read more

Maybe eliminate the server assistants and food runners and busses- teach your servers , to re bus, know the menu, not doddle when on the clock. Took forever just to get drinks. Soup was cold as we watched a few congregate around the soup station. Others got theirs are our waiter was busy chatting. Soup was cold. Steak was medium rare on one side and well on the other side. And tastes like lemon. The scallops and penne pasta also not so great. Had to go to restroom to be sick. Our first visit will be the last. Back to conners we go. Tie in what was worse the food or the service. I did want to try the cannoli cake but after our experience. I'm good making my own. Also if they seat you by kitchen- bring a blanket . It's so cold you can barely stand it. I am very understanding of the cooks needing to have ac . Of course. Cooks are very important- without them no restaurant is going to run. Our last (and first) experience at the restaurant was nothing short of really bad. We came back a couple months later, this last weekend, got a different server and it was an EXCELLENT experience. I wish I remembered her name but it was a Saturday night around 5 on the patio. She was young (college aged) and had dark cat eye eyeliner. She told us how her mom could barely boil water. She was so personal. Food was excellent this time and the server was on the ball with refills, checking on us and even boxes in the end. If we could get her every time we'd surely be back! read more

Super great service and yummy food. You also get free dessert on your birthday. I wish I had picked it when my friends and I went out for my birthday because I didn't get free dessert. . This was my first visit but it was one of my friend's favorite places to eat and since it was her birthday we came. The bread was delicious with the herbs mixed in butter or olive oil. I was also a fan of the stuffed mushrooms. We crushed the sampler appetizer plate before I remembered to take a picture so that was gone. I got the regular salmon with truffle fries and sausage and lentil soup. The portions are big. If someone else had wanted the same thing as me I could have split easily. I took it home for lunch the next day so that worked too. The truffle fries were supposed to be amazing and they were all right. I will probably get broccoli next time since it's healthier (I didn't think the truffle fries were worth the extra calories). Everyone else said they liked their food too. The birthday dessert was the chocolate cake thing and it was light and fluffy and delicious. We will have to come again for another birthday outing. read more

My parents are huge Carrabba fans and I became one during the pandemic. Due to Omicron, we ordered curbside pick-up which was a seamless experience - we just parked in the line of cars, and soon one of the friendly staff came by and all was good. The person taking our order on the phone was very nice & efficient too. All our food was packaged well, and everyone was pleased with their food. It does look like the prices went up - like everywhere else in the world. COMPLIMENTARY BREAD For 6 orders of food, they provided 2 loaves w/ a small container of EVOO, parmesan & herb mix. Yum. SHRIMP & SCALLOP LINGUINI ALLA VODKA - $21.99 Very good but I think there were maybe just 3 scallops?? Overall huge portion - enough for 2 meals! However this time the sauce didn't taste quite like a vodka sauce ... still good though. The Caesar side salad was very good too (all the lettuce was fresh, nothing wilty!) - dressing automatically comes on the side, which I also recommend for in-dining b/c otherwise they do drown your salad. LINGUINI POSITANO W/ SHRIMP - $17.99 Very good too - this one had crushed tomatoes, garlic, olive oil & basil ... honestly the sauce tasted just like my "alla vodka" so I did wonder if there was a mixup (or shortcut, lol). Husband and I like to eat bar side when we eat out. It's quieter and personable, plus we like chatting with the neighbors sometimes. The bartenders are very attentive and they remember our preferences. For a chain, it sometimes feels like a small town restaurant. Food is great, deals are quite good too. You can get an additional to-go meal for $10. read more

I would normally rate Carrabba's between 4 and 5 stars. It is a chain but I feel that the quality of their ingredients is significantly better than other chains, like Olive Garden or Chili's. I believe the service to be better and the atmosphere nicer than competitors. Having said that, I have also been disappointed, particularly with my last visit, that took place a few days ago. I ordered a filet to be served "rare" with an extra side of fettuccine. What I received was a cold steak that was almost completely raw. The steak was poorly trimmed and was banded with a thick layer of inedible silver skin. I brought this to the attention of our server, however, her solution was to have this steak that was banded with silver skin, had already rested, and had been cut into, thrown back on the grill. When presented with this choice. I opted for the fettuccine meal, instead. Things did not improve from this point on. Our glasses sat empty for at least 15 minutes and when our server returned, smelling like an ashtray, we knew she had left us to smoke, although she had told us that she was changing the diet coke mix for the fountain. I had chosen to come to Carrabba's instead of a different Italian restaurant because I absolutely LOVE the cannoli cake, that is only served at Carrabba's-yeah, our server told us they were out of it. While we were packing up our food to leave, she presented us with a bill for $98. I was charged for a steak and 3 sides of fettuccine. The bill was corrected, but as I reflected on what an unpleasant experience that this had been and how I had actually wanted to go to that "other" really good Italian restaurant that I mentioned, in the first place, I decided not to see the manager. Why bother? There is a wonderful, family-owned Italian restaurant less than 2 miles from Carrabba's that has been serving great food for over 30yrs. I have never had bad service or a bad meal at this "other" restaurant and i have been a customer since they opened in 1992. Why would I ever come back here, to Carrabba's? read more

I called over for a manager because my gift card wasn't going through and Brendon or Brandon, not sure. His breath was absolutely atrocious & nauseous. I immediately lost my apetitie. The post pandemic Carrabbas has gone downhill quite a bit from the much better pre pandemic Carrabbas, which is not that unusual in the world of restaurants, especially chain restaurants in the knoxville area (you pay more, you get less, especially of the higher quality ingredients, etc). I mean, the Caesar salad we ordered could have passed for soup of the day. At least wait to put the dressing on right before it's served instead of hours before. And the spaghetti probably not even as good as Olive Garden, but more money. Overcooked pasta with not very tasty meatsauce. Olive Garden would have been a better choice. We liked the bread, and the waitress did a nice job. Nice table, decent atmosphere. Other than the actual food, everything was pretty good.
