    Mezzaluna fritte

First time at a Carrabba's and though I only had the Happy Hour menu items, I really enjoyed it! Sat down at the bar and they have a fairly large HH menu. I started with a draft Peroni and calamari. A lot of calamari for $8 and it was peppery and crispy. The lemon butter sauce with banana peppers was odd at first since I never had this combo, but I seemed to keep going back to it. I then ordered my first espresso martini and it won't be my last. In fact, I ordered another right away! Creamy sweet and delicious! I tried their mezzaluna fritte and didn't care for it. Didn't really taste any chicken and it was just okay. I did ask for a side of the bread and with their herb mixture and olive oil, fluffy warm bread, it was a perfect end to a fried meal. Service by the bartenders was excellent, very friendly and quick.

Filet mignon at what I thought was a decent restaurant in Knoxville. This picture is after a second time to my table.

My wife and I like the Bar menu $7 small bites, always excellent. $3 Peroni and Mezzaluna bites, a toasted version of the Mezzaluna pasta dish, 6 pieces with the sundried Tomato sauce, so good. My favorite is the Vegetable Focaccia Bread, toasted with zucchini and red peppers over goat cheese, insanely good. Mix in a side Caesar salad and the Sausage Lentil soup and that's more than a meal. Excellent service always. Ambience is modern Italian with similar music.

My house wine with small charcuterie on top of the wine glass!

I did call ahead to be seated. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was seated within 5- 10 minutes. They had happy hour on great cocktails, wine & appetizers. The hot bread & olive oil/herbs was awesome. My wife & I had great dinners & dessert. We took advantage of the $10 take out dinner promotion, too. Bethany was a great waitress, too.

Not in the dessert menuuu but they allowed us to bring it inn

So good we come for every birthday and we have such a nice waiter. I don't know his name, but he's really nice. He made sure that everything's fine and he doesn't get really annoyed if we ask him a lot and he will be getting a good tip! Yummy food 10/10

Excellent service and delicious food. This chain has consistent quality across all locations I've visited in the US, and the Knoxville location met my expectations.

Nothing like a summer menu and local favorite ... Let's get in to it! I mean, i'm not sure what everyone else craves when they come but I always love the summer menu additions and of course the signature seasoning, and olive oil and the warm baked bread! A complete addiction for someone who normally doesn't eat bread eat bread any other time... I'm going to eat it when I come here But... I digress ‍ Slight shade on the salad ...I don't know about you, but if I'm paying for a salad in a restaurant, I want it to have a little pizzazz. Unfortunately, Caesar was a bit lack luster definitely lacking the pizzazz. It is literally kind of soggy romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese and Ceasars dressing. Say what you want but A little better presentation could go a long way. on the other side of news, I do happen to like their Caesar dressing. It's very robust and flavor creamy, and always win. Next up, the watermelon summertime spritz with Vodka darn near tasted like Kool-Aid. It was so good.. but trust by the last sip I was fully aware this was no KIDS cocktail Not too heavy and a must try before they move it off the menu. I also decided to try another addition to their summer menu, which is the Filet, spinach & shrimp.. For starters, there is one thing I hate to do and that is in my food in a restaurant... however I asked for my steak cooked to medium as you can see it was well done and there was literally 5 pieces of small steak and the shrimp was rushed and uncooked the pasta was a bit dry and needed more sauce.... I actually hate sending Food back to the kitchen, but in this case, I opted to speak with my waitress she was very kind and had it remade. As for the remake, it came out better, and the favor was good and very filling. Little bit of a side eye but meh we'll work with it. if you want to try a couple of their new summer specials, there is the fillet caprice he which is sliced would grill fillet served of tomatoes, red onions, fresh basil, in a creamy seasoned Burrata with grilled prosciutto and mozzarella wrapped asparagus! Yummy Another one is the crab and shrimp Florentine, prosciutto, wrapped pork tenderloin, and each one of these also comes with a featured wine pairing one is the Cabernet Sauvignon the other is a Sauvignon Blanc, and the last is a Pinot noir. If you're a foodie snob like me, I absolutely love menus that offer a nice wine pairing, even if it is a local chain restaurant. Last but not least if you are a sweet tooth head like me, you're in for a treat because berries and butter cake is back back in the Day they used to have some thing called A cake de rosa (I think that was the name) which was kind of like a strawberry short cake with whip cream, but so much better this is very similar.

Waiting for soup. Another waiter was in and out three times. Whist these boys talked.

Great family-owned Italian restaurant!…read more One thing to know before you go: they only take reservations for parties of six or more. We arrived around 5:20 p.m. and were seated immediately, but by 5:45 there was already a wait. If you're dining with just one or two people, there are several seats available in the bar area. I started with an Old Fashioned. The moment I saw the bright red cherry and small ice cubes, I knew it probably wasn't going to match the quality of the food. It was drinkable, but they could definitely upgrade their Old Fashioned program because the food deserves it. Every table starts with a fresh salad and warm bread. The salad was very good, and the bread was absolutely delicious. I decided to try something new, the Pollo Dill, and I'm glad I did! It featured chicken and rigatoni tossed in a rich, flavorful Parmesan cream sauce. It was outstanding and easily my favorite dish of the night. We also ordered the Pollo Parmesan and the Pollo al Limone, and both were excellent. Our grandkids enjoyed the spaghetti with a huge meatball, which they quickly devoured. The service was attentive throughout the meal, and our water glasses were never empty. The restaurant has the warm, welcoming character you'd expect from a longtime family-owned Italian restaurant. If you're looking for authentic Italian food with generous portions, friendly service, and plenty of charm, this place deserves a spot on your list. Just get there early if your party has fewer than six people. Cheers!

The meatball appetizer was three mini meatballs. I've seen meatballs on sub sandwiches bigger than these. The lasagna, was really without any sauce. It was a bolognese sauce. Also it lacked the stretchy cheese pull that one expects from a lasagna. The pasta dishes from what I tried was a little to al dente, there was too much chew in the pasta. That said for the prices that they charge to not offer a side salad or at least some bread with the meal is disappointing.

The food is amazing. For appetizers I would recommend getting the focaccia and meatballs. Entree wise, I would HIGHLY recommend splitting the Pappardelle e Ragú di Maiale Bianco and something else with another one of your table mates. The portion size is perfect for one person but you'll want to try more than one item. If you are there in the summer, you must try the Tomato Martini (PLEASE bring it back for next summer's menu!). The service and ambiance of Osteria Stella and Brother Wolf is what completely sets them apart. OS is a high class, quiet, romantic restaurant with dark colors and knowledgeable servers who value your experience. BW is simply a high end bar. That said, BW is much more fast paced and really my only complaint, the music was absurdly loud the night we were there for dinner and the restaurant was crowded, so everyone was trying to talk over the music and you almost had to yell to even hear the person sitting right beside you. If going to OS, you would likely need reservations, especially on a weekend. With BW, they don't take reservations to my knowledge and it's a free for all for an open seat at the bar or an open table. Really the difference is what kind of vibe you're going for.

I really like that they take reservations; it gives the whole place a true date night vibe. We started with the truffle fries, which are always a great choice (Added ranch on the side of course). Next time I'm definitely planning to try the artichokes and Brussels sprouts: they looked amazing coming out to other tables. For drinks, I tried the Greenway seasonal cocktail and it was my favorite of the night--really well balanced and something I'd order again without hesitation. I also sampled the cucumber basil martini, which was fine but not quite as good even though it's in a similar flavor profile. The Gold Coast was another solid option, just very strong and on the boozier side. Food-wise, I probably should have stuck with what they do best (the pasta and cheese wheel with added chicken) but I tried the mushroom rigatoni instead. It had a good base flavor, but it was a bit heavy on the pepper the night I went, which overpowered it for me. I'd skip that one next time. I'm curious to go back and try the short rib or the vodka sauce pasta instead. To finish, the chocolate pot de crème was perfect: rich, smooth, and just the right portion. If you only want a few bites of dessert, it's ideal. Overall, Bella is still a go-to for me, especially for a nice dinner or date night atmosphere.
