He must have missed the part that you need to use lip and mouth guards, bite block, and specialized protective glasses to protect the patient; we received multiple severe burns in our mouths. The very next day and many days after I requested multiple times to speak to the DR. about what he recommends we need to be doing instead I got to deal with the gatekeeper Sophia, the mother of Dimitri, who has no medical background, nor should she ever administer any medication 800mg ibuprofens is prescribed medication via a pharmacy or a doctor, not an office manager, as she did to both myself and my son the day of the treatment. My son's lasted a week, and a half and mine went on for three and a half weeks. I had put a deposit down for future services now they are trying to claim even though I have never received a bill from them for services what this and that cost. I hope it is worth it for them. I am continuing my complaint to the Department of Consumer Affairs and the American Dental Board for the services we received and the lack of care or concern. No one should ever have to go through this type of treatment or aftercare!

They told me the accepted my insurance (they do not). They had me sign a document that my filling would cost 200 out of pocket. I was fine spending that since everyone was so nice and I truly trusted his team. Well this 200 dollar filling ended costing 1,200! Yes, 1,200! That is insane! 5 years later the filling cracked and my new dentist stated he uses cheap material so you would have to get the replaced. He's super nice but definitely keeps money the priority. Super disappointing and don't be fooled unless you have deep pockets.

While I have had the same "dental hygienist" for the past 14-15 years at another office in Orange County I had been driving to LA to see Dr. Bill Dorfman for my primary dental care but I truly need to have a reliable honest dentist local to me in the OC, as I don't always want to have to drive from OC to LA to see a dentist. Upon meeting Dr. Herried, he was extremely polite and professional. He took the time to answer all my questions and I loved that he didn't make me feel like he was too busy for me. Nor did he make me feel like he was doing me a huge favor, while he was, nor was he pushy in any way shape or form, trying to get money out of me as some dentist's in the past have done. Some 13 years ago a very famous TV celebrity OC dentist, to which I shall not name, did an exam on me and told me I needed a $1500.00-$2000.00 crown. I did not trust her in my gut and went to get a second opinion and was told I did not need a crown. It is now 13 years later and I have never had a root canal or crown and have been seen by not just multiple dentist, but also periodontist and orthodontist and no one told me I needed a crown, except for one dentist wanting to rake in the money. I alway floss, brush, butler, tongue scrape my mouth, and rinse with a professional mouthwash, and use coconut oil for my dental routine. In my whole life I've only had 3 cavities and I am in my 50's. In any case, I use my gut and power of observation to evaluate doctors and I felt like Dr. Herried is definitely a dentist that could be trusted and has ethical integrity. I am planning to book my next exam with him and again say thank you to him for the first exam. Last week, on Monday July 15, 2024 I called his office to ask if they had my dental x-rays on file and they emailed them over to me within minutes and the receptionist was very polite and accomodating.
