Love the raviolis and focaccia. It's always clean when I go in and the staff is always friendly. They also do fundraisers. I've been coming here for over 20 years and the quality has stayed the same. It's a casual atmosphere though, so don't come here if you are looking for a fancy Italian restaurant l, the Lodi location is more upscale. read more

I love this place. The raviolis are delicious. I like my pasta with bolognese sauce, and so few places have it. Others places seem to always use the canned mariana sauce. The staff is not exactly warm and fuzzy here but the pasta and french bread makes up for it. One of my 3 favorite Italian places around. read more

I was at a De Vince's catered event yesterday. I knew it was De Vinci's as soon as I saw the Rav's, the salad and the focaccia. HOWEVER, there was another dish, one I've never tried in the 30 years I've been going there: MEATBALLS. OMG!! I just scanned all the reviews, and couldn't find anyone mentioning these, so I can't tell you if they're on the menu, or just available for catered events. They were small, almost bite-size morsels, perfectly seasoned, in a wonderful sauce. Sprinkle a little parm on top, and voila! You have one of the tastiest items I've ever eaten at De Vinci's. More amazing? I'm not a meatball lover. (My girlfriend said she still has a couple trays of rav's left over, but the meatballs? ALL gone!) I have to agree with most of the "thumbs down" reviews on the rav's in gravy that you get. If you want a better experience, buy the rav's by the box, and use your own sauce, or buy a quart of theirs separately. They'll be fresh, whole, and as delicious as you'd expect! I ate at this location 2 weeks ago for lunch. We ordered a roast beef sand on focaccia, and a "small" salad, both of which we split. Got what I expected, EXCEPT the service. It was just before noon on a Tuesday. There was one girl behind the counter. She made our sandwich, during which she ran out of tomatoes (go to the kitchen to get more), ran out of lettuce, (get a fresh container out of fridge), ran out of pickles (go to kitchen to get more--oops we're out). In the meantime, people kept coming in, lining up and waiting! Now, I've never run a restaurant before , but come on, folks!! Wouldn't you replenish all your condiments in anticipation of a busy lunch hour, especially when most ppl have limited time for lunch??? And put at least 2 ppl up front to handle the "crowd"? 5 stars for the meatballs--Treat yourself to these if you haven't already!! read more

I have to agree with a lot of the other reviews, something I don't usually do! This place used to be wonderful but now that they have switched owners and opened up branches, it's not up to par. The ravioli's are very soggy and chewy, only once in a great while do I get them when they are tasty like they used to be. I keep going back hoping to cure that longing for the taste I grew up on but I'm yet to do so! Sadly! The only way I have came semi close on the ravioli's is to buy the frozen ravioli's and a container of sauce and make them my self! I do like the salad, it still seems to be the same, and comes in a big portion. Hint to the new owners, spend a little more time making the rav's and a little less time trying to cut corner's and I'm sure you will make more money then you are making now...Haste makes waste! So 3 stars for now had I reviewed this place a few years back it would of been an easy five stars. Hope you guys can get back to how it used to be!!! read more

Bad customer service..walked in for lunch today and wasn't greeted by either one of the girls working. Around 2pm and only 1 other customer in there besides myself. Smiled at one of the girls and got a blank stare in response. Food is just ok..on the way out one of the girls was sweeping by the door and once again no "thank you for coming" or "have a nice day". The pesto is amazing, the the ravioli is good(at first thought it was from a can), the Alfredo is disgusting it has no flavor so bland and doesn't even taste like alfredo (embarrassing), and the bread is hard and heavy don't know how I really feel about that. read more

From as long as I can remember the ravs were really good and would look forward to having them when I would come home to visit. On a recent visit... well, sadly, we won't be going back any time soon. The pasta displayed looked like it was sitting for some time so we were hoping we would get fresh pasta well when we received it the food was less than luke warm, they didn't have any bread (sold out) and the presentation was worse than a cafeteria- sauce was everywhere! The restaurant is very casual and the location is not nice, however the food is pretty good. Service is ok. I personally really like their raviolis and the focaccia bread. Their lasagna and spaghetti is ok. Their herb chicken has good flavor but tends to be dry, likely because it is under the deli warmer for awhile. read more

DeVinci's on Pershing catered our son's wedding. I had called a few days ahead of the wedding to be sure all the leftover food would be boxed up for easy clean up. They assured me it would all be taken care of. Much to my dismay at 11PM when the wedding was over, and after the servers had left, I had two large bowls of food and 2 large bowls of salad dressing sitting on the tables. The servers had also left baskets and other items which I was expected to return apparently. Needless to say I ended up dumping half of the leftovers. I had to drive 45 minutes one way to return all the things they left. I spoke with Angie. She gave no apology for the leftovers not being boxed. I told her I would like to speak to a manager or the owner. She said she would give him my number. Well I never heard from anyone. I called 5 times over the next four weeks and even wrote an email asking for someone to call. No response at all. If you don't want extra work when your event is over, then I would chose another restaurant to cater your event. If someone had at least called me back I would not be writing this review. Very poor customer service if you ask me. read more
