The guiltless pizza was just ok, a little dry but the meat pizza was delicious. I was disappointed because I ordered 16" pizzas because I have a big family but 14" were delivered. Yes, I measured because I paid for the 16" so made sure I wasn't dreaming when the small boxes arrived! An Honest mistake but when it's late and your kids are hungry those extra slices make a difference The bread pudding was delicious and I can't rate the king cake bites I paid $9 for since they weren't in my order! The service was slower than expected but I think that's Uber eats fault and not Deanos fault since Uber Eats app told us it would be delivered in about 20 minutes but it was almost an hour before it got to my house. An average experience this time but yes, I'd still order from here & I do recommend this place.

I stopped by Dean O's on Bertrand Road while in Lafayette and finally tried the pasta salad I always see on DoorDash when ordering for my grandmother. The pictures always looked so good and it did not disappoint. It came with a slice of cheese bread and had toppings like tomatoes and egg plus your choice of protein. I ordered half shrimp and it was more than worth it. The portion was huge. For one person it would easily take me about three days to finish, so it is definitely something you can share. My only complaint was that they placed the utensil pack inside the salad. I would rather see it placed in the bag instead. People handle those utensil packs and putting them straight in the food box is a little off-putting. Other than that, the pasta salad was delicious and I would order it again in a heartbeat.

The pizza is great, but just in case you're in the mood for something else... Great place to eat. Good service, family friendly, and conveniently located.

Always great food! We live out of state so we don't get to enjoy Deano's as often as we would like but today as we were traveling through we had to stop and order a couple of our favorites. The crawfish nachos are my husband's super favorite & even though the crawfish cheese sauce was a little thick lol they were still delicious! Service is always good and this location is the only one I have been to, it's older but it's also part of the charm. Highly recommend!

Stopped by for lunch. Ordered the boudin queso, very good flavor and loved the chips. We each got the personal pizza special which came with a personal pizza, salad and a drink. Got the Perrain to see what all the hype was that our friends told us about and then a traditional pepperoni. We both liked the thin crust. The crispy pepperoni. Yum About the Perrain, it is pepperoni and pepper jelly. My husband decided to be the one to try it, I'm not that adventurous, I just had a taste of his. Definitely not for me but I'm not a big pepper jelly fan. For my husband who is a pepper jelly fan he said the pizza was good but not something he'd order again more because of the fact of it's not what he looks for in pizza flavor. Now he's the more pizza person than I am. So if you like pineapple on your pizza you'd probably like something like this that gives that sweet flavor to your pizza. So as a personal preference or opinion of it, be sure you're ok with a little sweet spin on your pizza. Overall about the restaurant, I would totally recommend except the restaurant was rather cold in temperature.

We love Deano's! We have been there so many times over the years, and the quality is always fantastic, service is great, and an enjoyable experience.

Yes, it was crowded, but that's a healthy sign! In fact, we were lucky enough to find a parking space in the lot. From antipasto to dessert everything was top notch. So, we went to Italy and came back changed people. In fact, I started making my own pasta being inspired by what I experienced. There is a tremendous difference between fresh and shelf. We finally made it back to Sarrica's last Saturday, and I don't know how one could be more impressed, but they did it again! We got there early and immediately got a table. A half hour later the place was getting packed. We went straight to the Primo skipping the antipasto this time. Our food arrived quickly, and at first the portion looked smaller than before. But I was deceived! The dish was full! And delicious! And gone! I'm usually not known for cleaning my plate, but had we been in a darker corner I probably would be licking what's left! No, seriously, it's that good! This place would be popular in Sicily or Rome or Tuscany! You can tell someone in the kitchen is proud of what they're serving to be so consistent. There's no question we'll be returning - if we find a parking space!

The only disappointment was finding out our favorite appetizer, the pork cheeks, is no longer on the menu. We decided to try the crabmeat cheesecake instead, and it was pretty good. For our entrées, my wife ordered the Fish Katie, which was as good as always, and I had the lamb chop special. The lamb chops were cooked well and had great flavor. To top off the evening, the staff brought out cotton candy and a slice of olive oil cake for my wife's birthday, which was a nice touch and made the celebration feel special. Overall, we had a very enjoyable dinner with good food and attentive service. We definitely plan on coming back and hope the pork cheeks make a return to the menu someday!

Two surprises that we all took special note of however - the breakfast/brunch offered biscuit - & - the Pecan Seduction dessert - outrageously delicious. Cotton Candy kids treat to close out was a hit too. Remainder of restaurant and outdoor seating option (when open for use) all = very appealing. Every time someone asks where we want to eat, Alesi is always at the top of the list. I'll admit, I usually order the pizza because it's just that good, but the few times I've ventured into other items on the menu, I've never been disappointed. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. It's truly sad to hear they're selling the business. Alesi isn't just another pizza place--it's a Lafayette staple and a place that has created so many great memories for families like mine. I sincerely hope the new owners preserve what has made this restaurant so special. If you've never been, do yourself a favor and go while you can. You won't regret it.

So, when we finally returned to Lafayette I couldn't wait for my family to experience the most authentic Italian restaurant in the city. The decor had not changed one bit, so I had hope that nothing else did. Alas, it did. We had pasta and pizza, and neither was anywhere near what used to be served here. The spaghetti and sauce looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp long enough to dry it out, and the pizza was so underwhelming that my son considered having me evaluated for speaking of this place so highly. I've come to learn that the third generation is in charge now, but it's apparent no one cares in the kitchen. To rely on the name alone will not change the fact the sub par food is being served. I will consider that it may have been an off night. It happens. But in Lafayette an off night will cost you a customer who will never return. Competing with Imoelli's, Marcello's, and now Saricca's and Cugino, you're going to need to step it up. Pizza Artista has some of the best pies in town, and it puts to shame what came out of Alesi's kitchen. I wish someone could save this institution. It was a tradition, but now they've lost the tradition.
