Great little pizza joint in Lafayette. I've tried the Crawfish nachos app (skip these)..but the real deal here is their specialty pizzas. On my last visit I got half Cajun Executnioner (Pepperoni, hot sausage, peppers, jalapeños and green onions) and a Blackend Shrimp (Blackend shrimp, onions and bell peppers) and both were great, the blacked shrimp was the winner, however. They make their own crust here and it's thin and delicious. The focus is where it should be...on the toppings. Plenty of parking but there is a little arcade room right when you walk in. If you have kids who love to spend your quarters on such nonsense be aware. I tried the "oh, hey look at that" opposite direction maneuver. Didn't work. The pizza was worth it, though. read more

Horrible customer service from the young lady at the counter on Saturday, June 22nd around 9pm. Her mannerism and attitude was definitely not friendly AT ALL. She was short and snappy with her responses. I don't want to read any more into it, but made me wonder if the shade of my skin was a determining factor for her very unpleasant demeanor because she was very chipper when other families walked up. Usually have a very good experience here. Stopped in today with some people from out of town and after talking the place up to them it turned out to be a total let down. First off the service was terrible! We got a young boy to wait on us that was more interested in flirting with a particular young lady behind the counter then waiting on us. WE repeatedly had to ask another server to bring him by the table when we needed something. Water or iced tea weren't refilled. The pizza was just bad. Sorry folks but even Deano's has a crappy day and today was it. We ordered two giant pizzas with various toppings and they were cold because they sat on the counter for quite a while. In addition to that, the crust was under done. Normally you can get a very good product here and the service is so so sometimes, but today was a disappointment for sure. read more

Decided to give this joint a try, boy was I disappointed. This place kinda reeks a weird smell, and the decor of the place does not look pleasing to be in. IT looks really cheaply made, with cheap tables and chairs. The staff is friendly though. But, the food was not good. We had the following: - Spinach & Artichoke Dip served with Fried Eggplants: The dip was very disgusting, and I really hate to use those words, but it really was. And the fried eggplants just made it worst. - Ragin Cajun pizza: Pepperoni, firecracker chicken sausage, drizzled with Dean-O's own buffalo sauce covered with cheese, delicious combination of toppings, but poor execution. Edible, but not I rather not. - Cajun Executioner pizza: Pepperoni, hot sausage, spicy shrimp, fresh onions, bell peppers and a lot of jalapenos, very poor execution, not good at all. - Lasagna Sampler: I don't remember which lasagna I gotten, but it was not very pleasing. Overall, my experience here was really bad. I really wish I had not eaten here, but I guess you'll never know unless you try. Deanos used to be one of the best pizza places in town. I remember going to it as a kid all the time and loving it. I still go there from time to time with family and enjoy it. However, with the arrival of Pizza artista, Central Pizza, and the always delicious BJ's Pizza, Deano's falls behind as it is one of the more expensive options without providing higher quality nor quantity. Even one star seems too much. I ordered a take out while waiting for pick up- veggie pizza. Not fresh/ bottled/ Soggy cold vegs which didn't even cook. The crust was burnt under. Took to hotel less than 3 mins drive immediately. Only the box was hot, not the pizza which was COLD and not fresh. Horribly tasting pizza. Never had such a worse pizza in my life.
