Never disappoints. Pancakes are so good and crispy edges are the best. Glad they are back and open in Paradise.

Good food, large portions, good customer service. I'm not usually a big fan of diner style restaurants, but I like this one.

What a great find in Chico. Helpers always know the best places, so I'm glad I relied on you all! I…read moreordered the cheddar and chive biscuits with sausage gravy and two over medium eggs. It was pretty darned good! I thought I would be getting cheddar chive biscuits, but really it was biscuits with chives dry on top and cheddar melted over that. It was still good, though. And the gravy was very flavorful. The eggs were cooked perfectly. I really wanted to try the French toast because it sounded fabulous. But it didn't come with eggs or meat. I wish there were an option for a smaller version of the sweet dishes so you can get both! The staff members were friendly and the restaurant was clean. I wholeheartedly recommend this spot!

We started with drinks I got a chai latte and my friend got the watermelon refresher, both enjoyable. Next time I'll get it without the sprinkled cinnamon on top. I got the roasted potatoes with carnitas and eggs. The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium which is my favorite. The potatoes were beautifully roasted while soft on the inside. The pico de gallo also seemed fresh and flavorful. My friend got the chicken and waffles and felt the chicken was well seasoned and crunchy while still tender. We shared the bam bam waffle, it was very sweet, the black berry sauce was a good tart taste to balance out all the sugar. I will say that although the food was delicious and fresh, the price was a little higher than expected. An extra side of syrup was $2 more. A side of eggs(2) was $5. I shared the receipt. All and all I'm glad we stopped here on our way back to Sacramento. Great food.

Gluten free waffles AND pancakes that are actually amazing? I almost cried. Not ashamed…read more The place is adorable but gets packed on weekends, so bring patience and arrive hungry, portions are huge, food comes out hot, and you will absolutely clean your plate. Best part? My gluten-eating family who could have gone ANYWHERE also loved their meals. No pity plates. Everyone won. Our college student requests this place every single time we visit which tells you everything you need to know. They don't have a car, so we are essentially their personal Uber and we are okay with it as long as we end up here. A rare and beautiful thing.

The food is just nothing to write home about - I could make it myself without much effort, for a much lower price, and just better. It used to be worth it to come in every now and then because their prices were so low, but just like everywhere else now, the prices are high and not worth it. A rave: I got food poisoning recently, NOT at Morning Thunder, but they were a contender. When I called to let them know, they handled it extremely well. They were surprised but said they would look closely at everything to make sure everything was safe and sanitary. (And yes, I did call to let them know when I confirmed it was not them.)

We were in town to bury my father in law, a lifetime Greenville resident. Thinking it would be a…read morenice break, we took our mother in law out to breakfast. We asked for a table outside because she can't hear well, and the cafe was bustling and loud. The staff seated us, but had to move tables around outside. The hostess and a "regular" of the cafe said things like "this is what we do in a tourist economy." "We have to accommodate the tourists." As if we were a bother and they were bending over backward to accommodate us. Because my mother in law was there, and she is emotionally raw right now, I avoided conflict. So I'll say now, what I wanted to say to those snarky, rude employees Thursday: My husband's family has had a plot in the Taylorsville cemetery for longer than those two ladies been alive -- combined. His grandmother had 2 restaurants in Greenville. His mother is a fixture in the community, living through the Dixie fire and coming back to rebuild her life. Now she'll bury her husband there. My sister and brother in law worked in public service in Quincy for decades. We aren't tourists. And even if we were, you were incredibly unwelcoming. You made a sad day worse. The food was fine.

I had the tostada and was surprised at how much food it was. Mostly fresh veggies that were plenty to fill me up but not stuff me. I'll definitely be back.
