First impression is they're very organized. The lounge wasn't busy but they did have a few take out and delivery orders. Was told the order would be ready for take out in 5-10. Ours came in 24 minutes. On top of that, it was wrong so I had to go back to get the correct item. There was ample parking in a strip mall. There's a large stage in the front so I'm assuming they have live music. Decent prices and portions. They do offer a law enforcement and military doscoujt. The good; beans were so salty we couldn't eat them. A shame because they were seasoned nicely except for the salt. It tasted like they dropped the salt in there to be honest. It was that salty. Potato salad was delicious. Cole slaw was decent. Sausage was delicious. Brisket was also delicious but too salty. Delicious sauce. I give the food 3.5 of 5. Service was a 2 at best. Friendly but it was a zoo when it didn't have to be. A guy named Gary was waiting for his order and they're calling Eric. The name was put in wrong so he had to wait unnecessarily. My order was wrong. I would go back to try it again. The food has potential and I prefer dining in anyways. Overall score is a 3 today. read more

Oh my gooosh!! This place was DELICIOUS!! The brisket and ribs were so tender, juicy and great smoke flavor!! The turkey was equally as good as was the sausage. The sauce has a little spice to it. The sauces were great. All the sides were so yummy! The baked potato salad was amazing and the green beans were fresh and well seasoned. The portions were perfect- absolutely get your money's worth!! I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak as a Takeout meal at Lunchtime and, although the steak tasted alright, I discovered when I got home that there wasn't any Country gravy provided in the container (I have never had this dish served without any kind of gravy on it). Ranked among the best I have had. Brisket had a nice smoke flavor but was too dry, Bark only appears on the fatty side and it's really thin. Green beans were fair at best with little flavor beyond the taste of canned green beans. Bill Miller's has better green beans. The creamed corn was good. Better than Rudy's. Service was a little odd. Sign outside said come on in. I did and the staff seemed shocked to see I walked in. There was some sort of stage where there were lots of orders. Delicious, REAL food. I had the pulled pork sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese. The pork was insanely tender and flavorful and I added some bbq sauce that was on the table, which had the best peppery taste. Not too spicy not too sweet. With my meal I ordered a side of Mac and cheese, which was also delicious, and I'll definitely be ordering again. The sweet tea is perfectly made and comes in a huge styrofoam cup (you know the sweet tea is top tier when served In styrofoam cups!!) Showed up at 530pm and they were all out of food. Very disappointing. This also did n't happen until we were sitting 10-15 minutes at a table with no service. Returned there to give it a try. It was not busy at all and the service was much better. Had the three meat plate with brisket, chicken and turkey. I also added a 1/2 lb ribs. The ribs and brisket were the best things they had but not amazing or must haves. Don't get me wrong it was not great and not bad. I would call it in the middle-good. I've been here twice. The first time was so amazing that I came back two days later with another set of friends. That time wasn't so great which is why I haven't been back. The brisket was so salty (not for someone with hypertension, experienced a headache immediately afterwards) and the "rub" so spicy infused with too much pepper. I had brought bottled water, was told that I couldn't drink it, so when I ordered water, they charged 25 cents. Waitress greeted us with "Hi guys"! I'm not a guy. This is a tough one .....but I gave them 3 stars only because of the way I was treated. My son-in-law and daughter live close to Dee Willies, and they are both sick and needed some food. I got there about 20 minutes before they opened. The door was unlocked so I stepped in to see if I could go ahead and order and then I said I would wait outside until it was ready. The lady on the register was very rude and kept telling me she would take my order but they normally didn't do things this way and how much I was inconveniencing her......she kept on until I stepped outside. 5 minutes later she flipped the sign to open and I went back in to get my order and she started in on me again......I got their food and left Turkey was delicious but their hostess/cashier is not customer friendly read more

Wow... if you want to get a taste of Texas, this is it! The location is a bit off the beaten path, but worth it. I got the marbled brisket, ribs, and turkey. All fantastic. The mac and cheese was different with a bit more pepper and a very smooth creamy sauce. I enjoyed it, but others weren't that impressed. The cream corn is very creamy, almost more like a gravy. The cole slaw was straightforward. What you MUST get is the sweet potato casserole. My friends got some extra to take home, it was that good. The sandwiches also looked HUGE. The decor is very Texan inside. Good seating for groups, and they do live music some nights. There was country music playing. Service was smooth. The bathroom stalls were cramped and a little dingy though. Another downside is that food was served on styrofoam plates, plastic silverware, and soda came from cans. Had the chicken, would pass on that if I were you. I had to use my own pocket knife to separate the thigh from the leg after my plastic fork broke apart. Sausage was dry but the sauce they had helped with that. As a matter of fact, the sauce was the highlight of the visit. Bit pricey as is all BBQ these days but there are better places in town for BBQ. Be aware if you ask for butter for your wonder bread there is a $.50 up charge which I find kinda petty when you are paying around $20 to begin with. read more

Arriving mid afternoon we found a nice crowd for the time of day. Three meat combo moist flavorful Turkey, well marbled brisket a bit heavy on the ground black pepper on the bark but firm, moist and tasty. Star of the meal pork jalapeño cheese Susage was amazing some of the best in TX. Sides were nice green beans well seasoned, cream corn was good although not warm but flavorful and the sweet potato casserole was very nice sweet addition. We will be back closer to beer thirty to truly enjoy the brisket with a cold beer or three. read more
