I had an incredible dining experience at Del Frisco's--definitely one of the best in Indianapolis! From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted, and the hostess escorted me upstairs to our table. Although we were initially seated at a two-top, we requested a four-top for extra space. A manager promptly accommodated us, moving us to a lovely table by the window, which was perfect! We started with the Oyster Casino and Del's Jumbo Lump crab cake, which was packed with 90% crab and just 10% breading--delicious! We also enjoyed a Double Eagle Margarita topped with Grand Marnier and a premium Paloma. Both drinks were so good that we ordered another round. The bread was exceptional, and we paired it with a Caesar salad. Although it was Devour Indy, we chose to order from the regular menu. For our main courses, we had the filet mignon, prime ribeye, and a baked potato. The steaks were cooked to absolute perfection, at just the right temperature. Of course, no dinner is complete without dessert, so we indulged in the Lemon Doberge cake. While the cake was flavorful, it leaned more towards a buttery taste than lemon. To top it all off, we had three attentive servers ensuring everything was perfect. I think it's safe to say Del Frisco's just became my new favorite steakhouse. A solid 10 out of 10! After catching a Colts game, my husband and I dined at Del Frisco's, and it was mostly a fantastic experience, with a few minor drawbacks. We started with the VIP martini, which was a highlight--smooth and perfectly crafted. The crab appetizer was delicious, and the wedge salad was fresh and loaded with flavor. We split the tomahawk steak as our main course, and it was phenomenal--tender, well-seasoned, and plenty for two to share. For sides, we chose the creamed spinach and loaded baked potato, both of which complemented the steak nicely. The bread was also outstanding--warm, fresh, and memorable. Dessert, however, was a letdown. The chocolate mousse cake didn't live up to expectations, and it's something we'd skip next time. We finished with an espresso martini, but it was missing the depth we were looking for. Our table was by the window, which provided a great view for people-watching. However, the air conditioning was blowing directly on us, making it a bit uncomfortable. Service was attentive, with very nice food runners who made sure everything arrived quickly. The bar area was lively, but the rest of the restaurant was fairly empty, making it feel a bit quiet. Bathrooms were clean, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, we did have a few issues with cleanliness. Our water glasses had food particles stuck inside, and one of our appetizer plates was also dirty, which was disappointing. But we tried to overlook it and focus on the positive aspects of the meal. I wanted to share my recent experience at Del Frisco's during my husband's birthday dinner, which was quite disappointing. I had made a reservation for 14 people and was informed that we would need to be in a private room with a $1,500 minimum, which I agreed to. After receiving a contract, I provided a card on file. On the day of the dinner, a few guests had family emergencies, so I called to inform them that our party would only be 8 people. I mentioned that we could move out of the private room since we wouldn't meet the minimum requirement, and they assured me it would be fine, and we would likely still be accommodated in the private room. While the service and food were fantastic, the experience took a turn when the manager, Juan Rojas, approached us as we requested the check. He stated that we were $700 short of our minimum. I explained that I had called at 5:01 PM to notify them of the change, and they said it was okay. However, he insisted that I had signed a contract and that the minimum still applied, regardless of the short notice. When I asked if our bar drinks were included, he requested the receipts and agreed to add those to the bill, but we still fell short by $500. The manager was incredibly unaccommodating and rude, leaving us feeling frustrated. To meet the minimum, we felt pressured to order an additional $500 worth of liquor, which was not how we wanted to celebrate. But that's not the problematic issue. CRAZY part was thatI was attacked after leaving this review. I'm going to assume your servers work in teams or couples. It was my last night in Indianapolis and I was enjoying a drink at a random bar Indianapolis. A man approached me asking if my name was Joey. I responded with how can I help you and he told me that I either got him fired or reprimanded. He claimed to be Jesse's partner but at first I was confused cause I do clearly remember Jesse was of black decent and this man was blonde and white. He claimed that I ruined his life the evening I dined and wanted to fight me. He wouldn't tell me his name but he claimed I got him and Jesse in trouble. I was so scared of my life that I had to call the cops. What on earth people are you hiring. I have videos of the interaction and he tried to attack me. I didn't want to get anyone in trouble or fired but the service was not up to par but I was personally attacked by this man. I am completely traumatized. When I spoke to management they apologized and said they could not do anything. read more

I went into my first visit with high expectations, but unfortunately several aspects of the experience fell short. Upon arrival, the staff was warm and welcoming, setting the tone one would expect from a fine dining establishment. We chose the Devour Indy menu. I chose the wagyu meatballs, ribeye with truffle butter (both upcharges), and butter cake for dessert. All three of those choices were excellent. However, others in my party found the lobster bisque and the lobster mac & cheese to be quite bland. The biggest issue occurred at the end of the meal when our to-go boxes were brought out. The waiter intentionally dropped the bag on the floor and then asked "Is that fine?". I was genuinely appalled as this is something I have NEVER experienced in my life. This was in addition to his general absence throughout the evening. The saving grace was the very talented live musician, a one man jukebox, whose performance genuinely elevated the vibe of the entire restaurant. We recently visited Del Frisco's for the first time and had an absolutely wonderful evening. The ambiance was elegant and inviting, creating the perfect backdrop for our meal. My wife opted for the salmon, and I chose the swordfish--both dishes were expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. A seasonal side of sweet potato, recommended by our attentive server, Matthew, was the perfect complement to our entrees and exceeded our expectations. Del Frisco's is hands down one of my favorite steakhouses, and today did not disappoint! I decided to try something new--charbroiled octopus--based on my server's recommendation, and I absolutely loved it. The food, as always, was top-notch. I had the New York strip, lobster, mac & cheese, and cream spinach, and everything was just as amazing as expected. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, and today was no different. Even though I ended up with a headache and had to take my meal to go, my server handled everything quickly and efficiently, which I really appreciated. The Indianapolis location lives up to the Del Frisco brand, and the mall parking deck is super convenient. My husband and I had a wonderful Father's Day dinner date at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse. The atmosphere was elegant and welcoming, making it a great choice for a special occasion. The service was attentive, polished, and added to the overall experience. We enjoyed the NC bread, dynamite shrimp, roasted broccolini, wild roasted mushrooms, loaded baked potato, sea bass, and the longbone steak. Everything was well prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The cocktails, including the pink slip margarita and añejo old fashioned, were also very good, and the lemon cake was a nice finish to the meal. The location and ambience of the restaurant are lovely, and the decor and service are commendable. However, the food was disappointing. My filet and creamed spinach were excessively salty; the spinach was so inedible that I had to send it back, but it couldn't be remade since it was after closing. The seasoning on the filet was also overly salty. On a positive note, the rolls, butter cake, and lobster macaroni were enjoyable, and my friend's roasted chicken was good.
