IT ALWAYS FUN PEEING ON ICE.. I know it's. Pizza place and before today I would come here for a slice when I was in the area... But Today I did something I don't normally do which was buy a sandwich from a place that serves pizza! But God loves me so much he beaded my whole life! Not many places can make a good torpedo! I have two spots and Del Mar Pizza is now the 3rd... I was so shocked it printed me to write this review... I mean everything was perfect, the bread slightly crunch super fluffy in the middle, the meat ver then but enough slices to say it was thick ....and every torpedo needs peppercheenes by I don't like them but guess what they put a stack of them on the side and I didn't even ask them too!!! And it was the best decision they could have made I cracked those fresh peppers open one by one and dripped all the juice one to each bite !! COME ONE NOW!!! I'm crying as I write this!! If you are around Del Mar beach and LAubergene you can check out shops and resto. This tiny place is wonderful for a quick bite to eat. My daughter and I spent time to meet up with friends around the hotel and we tried it out. The food was great and the salad was my favorite. You have to try it. The wings were okay and the pizza tasted good. The buffalo was not spicy and some chicken were a bit cheesy but overall fine. The service was great and their bathroom was clean. I took my dad and mom here and we ordered the margarita pizza with a large Caesar salad and garlic cheesey bread! It was soooooo good! Stopped by here on a Saturday with my friend and ordered a slice of pizza, a sandwich, and salad. We sat outside, which was really nice with the ocean view. Awesome experience. We got pizza slices and wings to go. So nice to be able to take a short walk to the coast to enjoy the view while eating. So location is great. By the time you're done with the sunset after an evening at the Del Mar beach, this is the perfect follow up for dinner. During Covid we've just picked up hot pizza from here and gone over to the Del Mar Civic center that has chairs and tables and a view of the ocean. We've tried their Chorizo Mexican Pizza(Excellent!!), the Pesto pizza with chicken (Also pretty good) and their Pepperoni pizza (good). Their crust is thin and perfect if you like NY style pizza. We were in town and we're pretty hungry. Never been to Del Mar area before, it's a super nice town, clean streets and pretty upscale area. There are basically two options, two slices for $10 with a soda or $25 for a large size box. We ordered half artisan and half mexicana. Mexicana was very good, the garlic, sausage and veggies went very well together. The artisan was okay, it had much less ingredients, and was pretty simple. Dough for us was way to thin, but crust tasted very good. Customer service was great. Currently no restrooms or tap water. read more

Jordan, Victor, and Amanda just made my night and my birthday. We're visiting Del Mar for the weekend. It's the first time since the COVID-19 lockdowns that we could sit down and eat anywhere. Today is my birthday. Pizza was calling me. This pie did not disappoint! Wowie yowie bazowie -- ohhhh so good, with crispy thin crust, luscious toppings, and hot, melty cheese. We had half Meat Lovers - half Spinaccio. Like heaven. The meatball was particularly delicious. I don't usually like pepperoni, but the meat trio of meatball, sausage, and pepperoni worked for me tonight. On the veggie half of the pie, the artichokes were tender and generous. The spinach, artichokes, garlic, and ricotta cheese all blended together and made a great taste. My only complaint is that there was not more ricotta cheese. I am a ricotta fiend, I would've liked more blobs of ricotta on the pie. This complaint, however, is not enough to take away the five star rating. I also appreciated the fact that the pizza was not difficult to eat, was not greasy, and did not drip. Sometimes thin crust pizzas can be really hard to eat, and the grease runs down your arm and drips off your elbow. Not in this case! My husband physically waited for the pizza in the store over 30 minutes on august 22nd. The front cashier worker kept telling him the pizza wasn't available but only until my husband asked the worker in the back did they find it at the very bottom pile stack of the pizzas. I hope this was not discrimination and simply ineptitude! My husband had placed a phone order 30 mins before arriving to the pizzeria, so the pizza was just sitting there the entire 30 minutes my husband was waiting at the pizzeria!! I wish I could give this place more stars! I live in NorCal but visit my family down south once maybe twice a year and this is always a must! The pizzas are a great size, so full of flavor and they cut it into big slices. We always get pepperoni and mushroom plus the bbq chicken and they're always delicious.
