One person in our party never got his food, drinks were never refilled. When we spoke to the manager he only offered $7 off the $126 bill. The waitress thought it all was funny. When Alberto worked here this place was amazing. The staff would greet us and we would be taken care of. I've tried to be civil but the last 4 times I've been here the staff all act like they don't care at all. The bartender Cristina cusses non stop and acts like she hates life. Every time you order she is very hateful. I stopped going to the bar. I attempted sitting away from the bar and the food has not once came out correctly. It is unbelievable how any place can consistently get things wrong. Each and every time I had to ask for a correction on our bill because somehow the mistakes the wait staff makes happens to add $20-$40 to our tab and the manager LINA is so rude and unprofessional. She's more concerned about spreading gossip about the owners and how he makes them charge for everything and they get in trouble if the tabs aren't high. What's worse is the "manager" slams plates and then loudly makes fun of you afterwards. I thought Alberto owned the place but when we asked Lina she laughed and said he was fired. There's so many other choices to eat and to be honest whoever owns this place needs to Evaluate who they have working for them. They obviously do not care at all. We decided to try this place instead of going to our regular mexican restaurant. What a mistake that was. When you first enter you immediately get the smell of fire (due to a fire that burned down 2 business) several weeks ago. They sat us at a booth that only had the springs left in the cushions. We asked to move to another booth and the same thing. Very uncomfortable. The waitress came over and took our order. She repeated everything back to us which was a good thing because she got it all wrong. We only order tacos and a burrito. My son ordered 3 tacos with no lettuce in them. Guess what, they came with lettuce. He just picked it out. My husband's tacos shells were mushy. Very stale. My burrito came. No taste to it at all. The rice we were served had to be at least 2 days old. Then we got our bill. My husband ordered tacos and so did my son. Same thing, chicken. We were charged 2 different prices for them. One was $5 more expensive than the other. When we questioned it our waitress was either playing dumb or really didn't understand what we were trying to show her. Finally got the manager to take care of it for us. NEVER AGAIN. This place is horrible. One more thing, my husband used the restroom and he said there were 2 roaches in the sink, alive ones. Can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. The need an inspector to come in. read more

I've been going to Del Rio's since it opened and every trip there is always consistently good. For starters, the margaritas are always made well. I get the house, on the rocks and it always has a great balance of flavors (plus alcohol!). Food is good (except once when my usual fish taco's were fishier than normal) and the atmosphere is inviting. Aside from the margaritas, my favorite thing here is their cafe (brown) salsa. read more

My husband and I eat at this restaurant at least once a week. Their food is incredible, their prices are great and their staff is just wonderful. Friday nights there is a father/son duo that play guitar and sing. They are one of the best little bands I've heard in a LONG time. Seriously the son needs to audition for American Idol! Had dinner here on 3/16/12. I will not be coming back... Pros: Great service from our waitress, Nachos with ground beef and cheese were yummy, mango mahi mahi that my girlfriend had was very tasty. Cons: I ordered steak and shrimp with re-fried beans and Spanish rice. The steak had clearly been microwaved (maybe to defrost?) and was covered over with half-sauteed onions -too many! It tasted like beef liver and it was unevenly cooked. Try cooking steak in a microwave and you'll see what I mean. I couldn't eat it. The beans and rice were just ok. Meh, I've had better, I've had worse. I cannot recommend ANYWHERE that microwaves a steak. I just cannot. That goes against anyone who loves to eat a good steak. It just makes me wonder what else goes on in that kitchen if they were willing to do that. read more

Mediocre food for a restaurant that is popular and in a great location. Had a horrible waitress that took our order and from there vanished. Entrees came and we were finished before she stopped by to check to see if everything was ok. It's standard practice to check on a guest 2-3 minutes after the arrival of their food. First and last time I eat at this restaurant, the food is pretty mediocre, my plate-chipotle chicken- had no flavor, I had to put too much salt in it, rice and beans were reheated, seemed made a week ago, my husband ordered the seafood fajitas, again, no flavor. We also ordered the cheese dip with pico de gallo, nothing out of the ordinary, the typical dip being served in any tex-mex restaurant. The service is terrible! The waitress was friendly but inattentive,she said she was new and asked us not to inquire about the menu because she knew nothing about it (??). In short, I will not return to this restaurant. Worst Mexican restaurant on the planet. Ordered fajitas for two and the meat (chicken and steak) was obviously cooked hours before. They tossed the old meat on top of fresh vegetables and called it food. The meat was so dry that swallowing it was all but impossible. I told them, they re-made the meal and in less than two minutes had a new plate of the same crap sitting on our table. I told the server and the manager and they cared not. The manager's lack of care and lack of action spoke volumes. As did the "screw you" look on his face. This place is kind of fun because it is busy and they have live music. We've been here quite a few times and I've never been particularly impressed with the food. Given that they under performed, even compared to my low expectations, I will not return. Oh and I'm not even going into how the server greeted us by complaining about a couple that was sitting at one of her other tables. She said some very rude things about complete strangers. Went to Del Rio with friends for dinner tonight. For the most part everyones food was good and tasty except mine. I ordered the fajitas Del Rio. Everything on the griddle was overcooked and slightly burnt which caused the meat to be dry. My flour tortillas were also dry and stuck together. I started to send mine back but, didn't want to cause a problem for our friends and disrupt their meal. Our server was very good. Noise level was also very high which made it impossible to carry on a conversation. Most likely will not return. read more

This place is a pretty good mexican restaurant. It has of course very generic food, but the service is always good. My favorite waiter says "hey amigo", "what you drink amigo", "you doin good amigo". I live around the area, this place is maybe 8 minutes from me. I go there on occasion and sometimes i order for pickup. ordering for pickup: it's like a hit or miss. Whoever takes the order may or may not be familiar with the menu. Even when it's as easy as combo #1, make sure you tell them exactly what you want (chicken, cheese, beef). Be clear if you want any substitution or extras. Like I said, it's a hit or miss. Food: it's not expensive food, so you get what you pay for. I'm not saying it's awful, or else i wouldn't come back. Ambiance: it's always loud. They have live music sometimes and i know that some patrons go specifically for that reason. If you like that kind of thing, then this is the page for you. Wife ordered 2 of the Surracha Shrimp tacos plates to go. Menu states very clearly that they come with rice. She gets home and it's only the 3 tacos in the plate. They were ok but when I asked where was the rice she said that's all they gave her. I am writing this review while they have me on hold waiting to speak to a manager. So far it's been 16 mins on hold and no manager or anyone for that matter asking why they have someone holding. Won't ever go back. Food isn't terrible but the service is lousy. $12 for 3 tacos. Wow...what a disappointment. First, was seated in a cramped spot although many other booths and tables available. Waited for 20 minutes before order was taken. Chips were thick and stale (salsa was good though). Watched five employees doing no work while we waited. Two employees at the receptionist desk dancing around (literally) while two others just sat and talked in the booth, fifth employee was in the hallway on his phone for a good 10 minutes texting. Never saw a manager on the floor checking on any customer's or employees. now..the food was lukewarm...and sub par - period. The food is great but the service and attitude of the staff absolutely sucks. In an effort to support local business we recently placed a large order through Uber. The order was supposed to come with 2 large bags of chips because I ordered 4 large dips. Instead they gave us 2 very small bags of chips. I called and they offered us one large bag and a cheese dip if we went there to pick it up. When we got up there the "free" dip was missing and the girl at the counter was extremely rude and acted as though the mistake was my fault. She said they are a different business from Uber. My wife and I have been here a few times and at each visit, we've ordered food and adult beverages. Upon finishing our meal, we have made our way to the door as quick as possible. While the food is alright and staff fairly quick with service, the "live bands" performing have been out motivation to leave. A nice young lady who was on top of refills and patient with my son. There were barcodes on the table to get online menu if desired.
