Bad service and food. The waiter didn't write down our drink or food orders for 6 people. Getting the drinks was tiring since it wasn't brought out on a tray. Everything was hand carried out in 2's. Then we waited for a very long time to put in our order. Once we finally got the food, it was incorrect. We had given the restaurant a 2nd chance because the service was horrific last time we went, but we thought maybe they just had an off day. You just lost 6 customers for life. Husband is allergic to mayonnaise and said no to any sauce. He got his sandwich, and it had sauce on it when he specifically said "no sauce." So, he then had nothing to eat. My daughter said her food was incredibly bad. Wish she had told me while we were there so we could have taken that off my father's bill. read more

Both lunch orders were incorrect. My wife ordered soup and a hard chicken taco - she got soup and a hard beef taco. I ordered a chicken enchilada and a cheese quesadilla, and received a chicken enchilada and a hard cheese taco. WARNING: IF YOU ORDER DELIVERY THEY CAN'T PROCESS REFUNDS IF THEY MESS UP. This review is based on delivery. We've ordered from them in the past without issue but lately things have been a bit weird. Unfortunately our recent delivery was the last one we'll request from here for a while. The delivery initially arrived in on time. When we checked we found that what we received was only part of our order. I reached out and they were willing to drive back to give us what was missing. When we began to finally eat the food, we found it either raw, undercooked, or a total mess. At this point I called to complain again and when I requested a refund (since I assumed that it wasn't going to improve) I was then informed that THEY CAN'T REFUND DELIVERY DUE TO THE THIRD PARTY PROCESSOR. This wasn't visible anywhere on the website. I then relented and agreed to receive yet another delivery to make up for it. What happened then is that the delivery person placed the bag right in front of our storm door. For those of you unfamiliar with a storm door, they open out and not in so the only way to get our food was to knock everything over. Which again, ruined the meal. I will say that the manager and first driver were very polite and well mannered. If it hadn't been for the manager I would have never accepted another delivery. He did try to fix the issue as best as possible. That being said, if you like the food here, don't do delivery for a while. They have some bugs to address. I'll likely try again after a long while to see how it goes. Two stars for the great manager. It would've been one star if he didn't try as hard as he did so kudos to him and the first driver. read more

Ordered take out of a couple burritos, an order of Fajitas Trio, cheese dip, and roasted salsa. I picked it up but did not thoroughly inspect the bags. Got home and discovered no chips at all. Ok, crap happens, let's try to fix it. Called them back and they said I could come back and get the chips. I could not as I had to work, so they said, "No problem, we'll make a note that we owe you a bag of chips next time. Not the best resolution, but it is a resolution. That was Monday. On Tuesday, I stopped by to get the chips. I told the young lady at the door that I came to get the chips and explained the entire story including calling up and being told that they would have a note that they owed me a bag of chips. The young lady said, "No. We don't do things that way." I said, "Excuse me?" She continued, "We don't do things that way so I can't gt you any chips." At this point, I started getting annoyed. It's not bad enough they forgot the chips, but Allison has decided that I should not get them. I freely admit, I do not have a poker face, and she said, "Calm down. We just don't handle it that way so I can't help you." I said, "Calm down? First, you don't give me my food, then when I try to get it you tell me you're going to screw me out of it?" This has now been about 8-10 minutes of arguing with her to simply get a 50 cent bag of chips that was owed to me. I said, "Fine. No problem. I will make sure I post this on Yelp so everyone can see this." At that point she FINALLY said, "Let me see what I can do." She went into the back and grabbed a half bag of chips. I am quite certain she did not ask anyone or anything like that because she really did not take the time for that. So basically, she was willing to lose a customer over a lousy 50 cent bag of chips. Great work Allison!! You just cost your company some money because we order out at least 2-3 times a week, but I will never be back to Del Rio. I use to love this place. Moved away and haven't been back for a good while. Our server was really great - very fast and great on refills. Restaurant appeared to be very clean and social distance was in place. But the food was just blah at best. My son-in-love had chicken fijitas that looked like it was boiled - not grilled. My fiance had chicken - which he said tasted very bland, I had steak quesidilla that was very tough - almost like a cheap sirloin that had just been thrown on the grill top. We enjoyed the big TVs and watched some of the Braves game. All in all it was just adequate. The quality of the food has gone way down since my last visit. I was on vacation with three of my girlfriends and we wanted to go to a place that played live music on Saturday night. So, my girlfriend who lived in Hoschton suggested Del Rio. When we got there, they were seating a table of 20 adults and kids that had just finished a baseball tournament. Then about 15 minutes later they sat us right near them. They were right in front of the stage and the gentleman playing. The women were drinking huge drinks and getting drunk and hollering and the little rug rats were running all over the stage while the poor guy was trying to sing. They went as far as to knock over his sound system and unplug his guitar. So, he gave up and got off stage. These hoodlums continued to run around the stage screaming and hollering. At one point a couple of the adult males got up and were messing with the microphone. No manager in sight. So, I asked for the manager and this kid who was no older than 18 by the looks of him came out from the back where he was hiding. He came over and gave me some sort of crap about...you know if I say something to them, they will say who am I to tell them how to raise their kids. I told him he needed to speak to them because we came to listen to the music and the entertainer wasn't singing until they left. He was there for two seconds and came back and said they were leaving anyways. It was another half hour before they left. I suppose that if they set the place on fire, that little twit of a manager would hide in the back and say...oh well it was going to burn to the ground anyway, why should I try to prevent it. Worst management I have ever witnessed. The poor waitress did more than he did. He should be kicked out on his butt! Who would let something like this go on...all the patrons couldn't believe what these unruly patrons were doing. I think they were all brought up in a barn somewhere. Unsatisfactory service from him tonight and any other time. upper management needs to send him to customer service and problem resolution courses. I have been going to this restaurant for 15 years. The management now is going downhill quickly. I usually sub beans and rice for sour cream and guacamole because of diabetes. Never has there been a problem except for last night. The manager came to the table and started arguing with me about how he can't switch both items and he would have to charge me for the guacamole. We have been to almost all of them in this area and this is by far the best restaurant to go. Our server was Kimberly and she was super nice and provided excellent service.
