I frequent this location about two times per week, between the hours of 1-3am. I really appreciate the speedy service and there's a reason I keep coming back. They do right about 90% of the time. Came in around 7 pm to order some food, the workers seemed busy and they have two kiosks to order from. Took about 7ish minutes to order using the kiosk only for it to not take my phone number for rewards AND it showed an error message when trying to pay. Moved over to the other kiosk and it was the same issue only quicker. A few of the workers passed me by and didn't say a word to me nor even acknowledge my presence. Last 3 times I've come here they have messed my order up that I almost stopped going entirely. I was out of town recently and stopped at a location in Palm Springs and was happy I did as they hit the mark across the board. So I decided to come back to this location again where I'm local and when I did I realized it's now 4 times in a row they have messed it up. This last time by far the worse. I ordered the carne asada guacamole tacos with no lettuce, or tomatoes macho size. It was all online order and way ahead of time about a hour before pickup. I pulled up right on time walked in and stood there about 20 minutes(not exaggerating) watching all 4 employees look completely lost and overwhelmed including the manager. Finally one employee asked what I needed and I said I'm waiting to pickup my online order and standing next to the sign that says pick up area. Almost another 20 minutes goes by before my order was finally brought out. The bag was taped up and placed in a a plastic togo bag so I didn't even think to check. My bad thinking that there raise to $15 an hour my have pushed them to actually do there job...no it made them more lazier and more useless in trying to put together a simple order that you have an hour to prep and think about making. Not only was the tacos missing the main ingredient, the fries were filled right below the size of small in a macho size container. Between the oily tacos and 6 fries I had, the only thing they didn't skimp on was the Del scorcho sauce I requested...wait my bad they loaded me up with that mild sauce. Don't waste your money or time on this place, corporate needs to shut them down due to lack of standards. Absolute garbage of a place and complete lack of management skills. read more

This review is ONLY for the mango chicken tacos. I think Del taco is MEH and if I'm gonna have tacos that aren't tacos I'll go to Taco Bell. Fast forward a week and I get caught on an errand run and I'm starving so we stop by Del taco. I snag a mango taco and see that they also do ranch and habanero tacos so I grab the habanero as well. They were both pretty good on their own but I was curious as to how they would taste together. Here we are today and Del taco was more than willing to add both sauces to the chicken taco. If you like spicy and sweet give it a shot Fam! They are only a buck, drowned in sauce with a light sprinkling of lettuce and heavy on the cheese on top of some fried chicken. I had 3 but could easily put down 12. Next time you need something cheap, fast and good (but not good for you) give these mango habanero tacos a whirl. Make sure you have them add both sauces! This location continues to impress & maintain a legendary status in my book. I have been to many a Del Taco in my time, but this one by far is the most superior - truly godlike. The food is always nice & hot, never a wrong order, usually decently fast service in the drive thru even during busy times, & very friendly staff. One time we went, the drive thru woman even ran after our car after leaving the window to give us our drink that we forgot. (Not exaggerating, she really did!) This del taco use to be good. They charged me 60cents for jalepenos and didn't put them in the bag. Lucky I checked. 25 cents for extra green sauce. Didn't put in the bag so I told her. She argued that they put it on the burrito. When u got home nope. Hardly any sauce couldn't even taste sauce. Dry. I got nachos. Only 2 chips actually had sauce on it. The small amount of beans were only on a couple of chips. My mind blown cause nachos should have cheese. The worst part is she argues over the extra sauce. Ok junk food is a staple in most everyone's life at one time or another and sometimes I want to think I'm a critic of the fast foods of my time. I have to say Del Taco is complex in its vast array of menu items. First I was shocked the first time I tried the Double Del Cheeseburger, really it doesn't ring true to the name. But seriously this is probably the best fast food burger in town amongst the big chains. The charbroiled flavor, melted cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, sauce all on a very soft sesame seed bun. And surprisingly always fresh!! But I knocked them down a star because they have the worst fries!!! Now to the other end of the menu. First off the beans are as they advertise taste fresh. And their bean and cheese burritos are awesome. But one of my go to's is the $1 tostadas OMGosh they are so good. Two please!! Also I'm a sucker for the soft chicken tacos something about that special sauce. Now that I've ran down the menu this store is good, I've been inside and drove thru no complaints. read more
