I used to love buying nachos at del taco. They were sooo good. But, yesterday, when my mom bought nachos from del taco, there was something different about them. The company had changed the type of cheese that they put on the nachos. Instead of orange cheese, it was a pale white color. Plus, it was very hot. I couldn't even eat it. I have a very sensitive Stomache. I cannot eat any type of hot spices, peppers, or anything that is really spicy. We had to throw our nachos away. It's a fast food Americanized taco place. You get what you'd expect. The people were nice, and the place only had a couple of customers while I was there around 11:00 am. Horrible!!! We went to this del taco and waited in the long drive through line. We made it to the order speaker, to be told they were short staffed and we had to wait, and make our order easy. We wanted to buy off the 20 under $2 menu, but there was 8 of us. So we ordered 2 Fiesta packs, just to feed everyone. The lady at the drive through, told us no. Worst experience ever at a Del Taco. All the Del Taco's I've ever been to, have been great. This one is horrible. They got my order wrong, over charged me and then proceeded to have an attitude. When I asked to speak to a manager, she said I am the manager and so is he. "He" is referring to the guy standing there who got the order wrong. What ever happened to common decency? Say you are sorry for the mix up and fix it. Apparently, given the customer attitude is appropriate at this Del Taco for a mistake that was made by them. Run, don't walk away from this place. My fiancé and I come to this del taco quite often and normally the experience is normal and we don't have problems. Tonight we went and got our usual order and got 4 chicken ranch rollers extra chicken and extra ranch and a large fry. We got charged $1.30 extra for each ranch roller (understandable since we wanted extra stuff) but it ended up having the same amount of chicken and ranch as the normal ranch roller. We obviously didn't notice till we got home and my fiancé called asked to speak to the manager he said his name was Eric he was super rude and then continued to tell us he was gonna go because he had better things to do then listen to us explain what was wrong with our food. For those of you unfamiliar with what "Art J." means by a goat head, this is a non-native invasive weed here in AZ & likely other parts of the SW'n US that produces 1 big nasty seed @ its base. Passed by this Del Taco on a cross-country road trip. We did drive through which took a really long time even though we were the only people in line. Minus 1 star. BUT the cashier made a joke about it taking so long because they "had to catch the chicken", classic joke. Plus 1 star. My husband and I have been going to the Del Taco in Kingman for about 4 years now. It was always good, fast, and clean and friendly. Today! NOT. They were understaffed. No manager to be seen. The tables and floor were not tidy, the trash was full. NO Hot sauce! NO napkins! And 5 of the drinks said Out of Order. No salt or sweetener either. They did put out some 1/2 sheets of paper towels. i drove to this del taco location today to buy lunch. i placed an order at the drive up window: i had to make my order with no onions as i'm allergic to them. the person at the window would repeat my order a bunch of times in reference to the no onions. they would repeat the order and ask about salsa i would say no onions are there onions in the salsa? yes they would say then i would say no salsa and explain once again that i was allergic to onions. i asked if my salad had dressing and they said it was a salsa type dressing i asked does it have onions? yes i was told, so i said no dressing. when i got back to work to eat my lunch there were onions in the salad and guacamole on it and there guacamole has onions in it so my husband was nice enough to go back to del taco to exchange my order for a correct taco salad. the manager was called, she tried to make excuses and my husband was told that there are no onions in the taco salad. when i looked at the salad i saw onions in it, so i asked my husband to try and see if it was onions, he tried a bite of salad and ate onion so he knew that there were onions in the salad. she still argued with him. then he asked about the guacamole and the manager said there was onions in the guacamole. and the salad i was sold had guacamole on it. so either the people taking the orders at the drive up window do not know whats in the food they serve or they just don't care. the manager made my salad with no onions or guacamole but did not give my husband a credit or offer him anything for the inconvenience of having to drive back and return the order that was totally messed up. the manager was rude and argumentative with us. we do not plan on ever returning to this del taco location in the future. read more

We always stop at Kingman for gas on our return from Sedona to our home in California. Usually, we also eat at this Del Taco. This last trip, my wife left her purse, wallet, and phone on the chair. We didn't realize it until much later that night. Fortunately, a good samaritan took it to the manager, Daniel, and he put it in the safe. We were so relieved when we called the next morning to find out that everything was safely locked up. Daniel then worked with us to have it picked up by the local UPS store and returned. If we had driven back there it retrieve it, it would have been a nine-hour round trip in bad weather. I commend Daniel for his very polite assistance, even following up with phone calls to be sure the coordination with UPS was going OK. PS: the employees here are always polite and friendly and the food is always fresh and tasty. read more

I go to Del taco in Kingman a fair amount. Everytime I've gotten slices of Avacado I end up throwing them out. Either they are rotten or have weird spots inside of them that make me wonder if bugs got to them (not saying in del taco but from wherever they get them) it's quite obvious when you ask for three slices and two of them are half sliced and find something in between they knew what they were giving me. Never buying Avacado from there again. That's gotta be atleast 5 times. Gross. And the chicken tacos I paid $7 for had like 3 tiny pieces of chicken in them and a ton of lettuce. BS. read more

Their is no option for zero stars. The "General Manager" LORY is super rude and needs to learn how to treat her customers better. I went through the drive through and Lory took my order and gave me my order through the window. When I got all the way home I realized my food was made wrong and that Lory the manager didn't even give me my receipt. I called the store to see if they would re make my food and ask them if they had my receipt. The store didn't answer the phone for a good 15 minutes and when she finally answered she answered the phone so rude . Food and employees were off their game, not nearly right for this or any other Del Taco. Girl crying and begging in the parking lot stating she was fired for no reason and seeking financial help from patrons. Employees inside "wierded" out and not being able to deal with what was going on with the girl. What was going on? I hate to think... I will stay far away from this location in the future. read more
