Hey, it's Del Taco, not much to really say. I had two crunchy tacos either fries. I ate one taco (ground beef and crunchy) It was fresh and tasty but pretty skimpy. The fries weren't the best but they weren't horrible It's close to my studio so from time to time o drop in here. Always fast friendly service. I've only been in the drive thru, never inside They always ask if I need condiments. Which I like! It's in a nice area but from time to time there's a homeless person hanging around but heck, that's everywhere . This has to be my most difficult and disappointing experience ever at a Del Taco. I was in the area helping out a friend. Prior to my meet I thought I would grab a quick bite to eat. Driving southbound on Sepulveda I come across a Del Taco sign paired with a Subway. Thought it would be perfect. Making my way towards where I thought the establishment would be I couldn't find it. (but found Subway) Leaving the area to explore more I see another sign for Del Taco and Pepboys. I found the Pepboys but not the Del Taco. I had to pull over and check the map to make sure Del Taco was still there. Finally I find the location and arrive. It was terrible coincidence that I arrived during a lunch rush. There were about 12 people that came in at once. It took over 15 mins to get every ones orders in. While we're waiting, there was an employee cleaning the dining area letting us know there is only one cashier available and he was attending to the drive thru as priority. Everyone received their food and took off while I was left waiting for my order. I walked over to the cashier and he noticed that I didn't get my food. Cheese was COLD, burger patties were rock hard and completely room temperature. They burnt the buns and then just dug out chunks that were black. Gross. Fries were old and cold. My husband just came home with tacos half empty so, you know a third of that was meat. He ordered 6 ground beef tacos and one del taco, which was excluded from the order. When he called to speak with the manager, she continued to repeat we didn't have an order like that. Often times my husband stops there for tacos. Most times they are decent. However, sometimes, like today, they are unsatisfactory. He is taking the uneaten tacos back to verify the quality of the tacos to the manager. read more

My DelTaco in Rancho Santa Margarita, Orange County is fantastic, so I feel sorry for folks who live in Westchester. I checked reviews for this whole area and ALL the Del Tacos seem to suck. This makes me believe it's largely because of an incompetent district manager and poor franchisees. The food preparation is fine, no complaints, but the guy who filled my bag & woman who said I couldn't wait in the dining area for my order have no idea what customer service is, they're too smug to care. My pre-paid order was missing the 2FOR items & a shake. Good thing I took inventory, because the guy who bagged my order made no attempt to catch me in the parking lot. When I re-entered the restaurant, he knew of the error, he just didn't know where the exit was. I was also made to come inside to get my order because they're too lazy to offer curbside delivery, something all the Orange County locations offer to keep the drive-thru clear while kitchen preparation may take awhile. To make matters worse, I was lectured to about the dining room being closed. I merely wanted to rest while waiting for the food I shouldn't have needed to leave my vehicle to receive. If I don't pose a threat by entering the building, I shouldn't be a threat while social distancing in a chair. Standing at the counter within arms distance from staff and other customers is preferable? As if they have any clue about COVID or any other contagious virus. ....and for the round one who said on-line customers are required to come inside to pickup their order, here's a screenshot of the app which has 3 options for digital orders. When I returned to work I had 3 soft tacos. I also asked for hot sauce the hottest. He gave me a handful of mild sauce and ketchup. I ordered thru the drive thought and they forgot 3 tacos ($2.67 plus tax) and my guacamole and chips ($3.08 plus tax). Total $6.33 of food I didn't get. I called the store when I got home and the store said they would not give me the tacos and essentially said I was lying. They said I could come back for the guacamole and chips but they won't give me the 3 tacos. They then said I would need to bring all the food back and the receipt. The night crew needs to be fired. Every time I try to come after work they are closed hours earlier than their original time or too lazy to cook up certain meats so they tell you they out of it. Tonight went around 810pm and had to call to ask if they were open because the drive thru entrance was blocked by a ladder. As soon as I hung up the phone a employee comes out to move the ladder and when I drive up they proceed to tell me they don't have any meats cooked up, I couldn't order anything with chicken, no quesadillas, etc. I left without ordering anything because this place is a joke. read more

It takes a lot to have me leave a review regarding food or service. I came through the drive through at 7:20 and they shut down the grill so they we're unable to make a double del. When I asked what that met, the girl quickly snapped back at me saying "we can't make that", obviously but my next question was what can you make and got no answer. I ordered the rest of my order and when I got to the window and read my receipt half of it was wrong. They gave me steak carbon tacos over steak soft tacos and cheese quesadilla without green sauce which I asked for multiple times. I corrected the girl behind the register about the cheese quesidalla and she fixed it but again without the green sauce and immediatly slammed the screen door on me and turned away from me so I could not ask for any sauce. Whoever the person is with the nose peircing was incredibly rude. I live 1 mile from here and have come on a monthly basis. Even when I got home everything was ice cold, and the steal carbon tacos had maybe 1 ounce of steak on them. I get you cant expect so much from fast food, but there is absolutely no reason to be rude or to be shutting down the grills early so you can close quicker. I was a GM of a casual burger restaurant for years and we would never preclose anything that would eliminate items from the menu. I unfortunately won't be back, I can get much more for my money at LAX tacos, minus the double del. I hope management takes this seriously. read more

I haven't had much time to visit restaurants lately and I have often found myself in desperate need of food (any kind ) in the late hours of the night. Surprisingly this place has saved-the-night for me several times. It's not gourmet, it's not what I would call healthy - but it's not greasy, they are quick, hours are good, drive-through is efficient, place looks clean from what I can see. The food is quickly made. When eating it you can tell that it's not old food sitting under a heating lamp waiting for someone to order it. It's fast food truly served fast.
