Both burritos had literally 6 small pieces of chicken, and one burrito had tomatoes. Last week we went inside because there were 6-7 cars in drive thru. Every car was gone before I got my food and we were the ONLY ones inside. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE pretty much sums it up. I ordered to-go and got a Double Del with fries, and 2 chicken soft tacos. My tacos were cold, and there was a big piece of plastic inside. I went straight back, walked inside spoke with the shift leader (Guadalupe) who apologized, but then when she went to look up my ticket to refund my money she claimed she couldn't find it. I asked her if she was serious, at which point she proceeded to chuckle. I will never return to this Del Taco. I've worked in customer service since I was 15, and I know this isn't how situations are supposed to be handle. Did the drive-thru today for 2 chicken soft tacos and an Epic Grilled Chicken Avocado Burrito. The food was great and the service was fast. Since I was on the way home, the food was nice and warm with excellent aroma and texture. I am hooked on those Epic Burritos and my wife loves the chicken soft tacos. We are fans! read more

I went to del taco after picking up my son from Paloma High. They had a late game. Figured hey why not Del Taco and call it a night. I kid you not we pulled into drive thru at 11:25. There was only three cars in front of me. I sat in the same freaking spot for 15 minutes. I wanted to back up but there was two cars behind me. Cars where finally moving. Yay so I thought. This was the worst experience I've ever had from any fast food restaurant. How in the hell do you run out of beans at a Mexican restaurant?? And the fryer was down plus they ran out of carnitas. Hands down the worst del taco. Every time I leave my order is either missing something or the fries are gross and still cold. Gotten to the point where I have to start saying extra cheese for the tacos because they can hardly even put any on and despite paying extra for it, they still don't put any on. Super frustrating. This place is the worst for "fast food" customer service!!! I ordered a macho combo burrito and was provided a burrito and Small drink . The order was perfectly clear but the delivery was incomplete. When asked about the fries that make it a combo I was told she only charged me for what I got!! I had to wait 15 minutes in a SLOW (not busy) fast food place to boot!! They are supposed to be open in the dining room until 10pm. I arrived just before 9:30pm. Half hour until close. ALL the chairs were up on the tables, trash was being bundled, floors had been mopped. In effect, they were closed. A half hour early. I asked a female employee what was up...well If you want to come in ill take a chair down. I said aren't you open another half hour? Yeah, but we do the closing work early. I said why would I want to sit and eat with all the chairs up and the smell of the cleaning stuff? She says whatever and gets on with the trash. Tonight, I got food through their drive-thru window just because they were on my way home. The food was bland, shredded cheese tasted like plastic wrap, and there were mountains of tomatoes on EVERYTHING! The gal at the drive-thru was more interested in interrupting me than letting me finish a sentence. And, when she asked me if I wanted catsup or hot sauce, logically, I chose hot sauce since I was eating tacos (duh!). I got to the Del Taco drive through window and the first thing the guy said to me was that they don't have any taco meat. I wasn't mad at that or anything and just ordered the fish tacos instead. I had to wait in the drive through for probably 20-30 minutes. Then when I got up there he didn't give me my drinks and I had to ask for them before leaving and he gave me the wrong sizes and had to ask for my actual size. Then I asked if I could get some mild and medium sauce and he tells me that there isn't a mild sauce and they're the same thing. I was puzzled because i've eaten at Del Taco plenty of times and that's the sauces I get every time. Then after that drive through experience I got home and the quality of the food was horrible. The fries were completely soggy and seemed undercooked. They were so greasy and wet that the container for the fries was soaked in grease. They also were very cold. Then I opened up my fish tacos and they were smothered in cheese(they don't come with cheese) and didn't have the right toppings. they had the regular beef taco toppings with little to none of the sauce that the fish tacos come with on them. The tortillas were all broken up and fallen apart and were ice cold. The fish itself was way over-fried and also ice cold. This location is definitely lacking! When I walked in I was the second person to order, yet 5-6 people after me got their food before I did. The man behind the counter was very rude. The condiments and plastic ware in both areas were empty and when I asked for forks, he sat a box on the counter. I had to open the box and the bag inside to get forks.
