I first must state that the employees here must think that I exist on tacos as I am here at least 2x a week....yes I have an issue, no I am not working on it. Honestly I HATED DelTaco before this location, ya'll made me change my mind *swoons* 1st-The employees are awesome, super nice and fast. Plus they do not look at me odd for coming twice in one day (sometimes things happen) 2nd-The food is always made fresh, hot and looks fantastic. I use drive through and never had any issues. Always satisfied. Keep your receipt and do a short survey to get $1 off any purchase of $3 or more. They give you this receipt every time. I spend no more than $5 each visit and use the coupon every time and it comes out to 20-30% off my bill. How great is that? read more

It's hard to beat the original Del Taco in Barstow, in terms of freshness, quality and taste. This location does a good job of making fresh food but my experiences with the drive thru force me to take off a star. 1. The loudspeaker for communicating your order to the person on the inside is quite frankly, inaudible. Between the noises of the nearby freeway and the half-English speaking order taker, the odds are stacked against you for placing an accurate order. 2. They are "Jewish" when asking for hot sauce. I usually order two burritos and they never fail to give me 3 or less hot sauce packets. Make sure to ask for a dozen hot sauces if you like hot sauce. 3. They have forgotten an item from my order more than once. Granted, I come here weekly so mistakes are going to happen eventually. Make sure to check your order! Okay, yes, it's Del Taco. However, I would like to relate a great customer service story. I went to eat with a couple of friends. We thought we ordered the 1/2lb. bean and cheese burritos. When they came out they were value burritos (and I'm fat so I wanted fat burritos!). We asked at the counter what happened to size of their half pound burritos. We found out we were rung up for the 89 cent value burritos, however, the manager made us 4 new 1/2lb burritos on the house. Brought them to our table. Ever heard of hostility? Or COMMON SENSE? The girl at the drive through at 4:30 is an actual idiot. Tried giving her the benefit of the doubt but she made that extremely difficult. She somehow managed to spill the drink all over BOTH cups, then handed it to us saying "oh wait let me hand it like this so I don't mix them up"....Sweetheart that's why there's a lid that you pop to know what's what. We asked for extra ketchup and got like 5 for a large fry. Drove away and realized she didn't give us the straws, my bf went back inside and grabbed some. Tried the root beer but it literally tasted like nothing. So I went back inside to give them a heads up their machine is low and I swear I waited at the damn container too long making uncomfortable eye contact with every idiot who refused to help me. Originally I left a 5 star rate for this Del Taco and raved about the service. Well lately all that has changed. The service went down hill and today was probably the worst visit I've had. Yelp offers coupons via the phone app and today this Del Taco refused to use the coupon. I stated that I had used the Yelp coupons many times and they said doesn't matter they won't take it, rudely. When your from California , it is extremely important to find a del taco that is seriously on point . This Del taco off Jurupa in Ontario is by far one of the most consistent locations of the entire chain. Food is always prepared properly and fresh . Not to mention the great courtesy of the entire staff. they are professional and welcoming . Their dining area is always clean and well kept . I'm a Del Taco fanatic and have been to many, but the one in Ontario off of Motor Lane has been a great visit for me while I waited for my car to be serviced. My epic scrambler was wrapped really well where it didn't fall apart. The employees were very friendly in a professional matter and the manager was really appreciated with his store.
